    RAISING taxes in a difficult economy is a HUGE mistake. This is ECON 101. Pres. Kennedy (Dem) proved it and Reagan (Rep) proved it. Obama is an idiot with one goal in mind-"Rules for Radicals". He didn't just serve on a Board with Ayers - Ayers appointed him because they agree on Socialism. They didn't give $ to schools, but to groups (Acorn) to train teachers to encourage kids to be radical. READ THE REPORT - the little bit of it Hussein hasn't bben able to hide.

My business depends on the middleclass spending miney with me. I earn well over $250,000 and my costs have gone up but my gross has stayed the same.     At the beginning of this race I thought that McCain or Obama could led this country towards a more positive direction than the last 8 years. I think that some of the americans enjoy the "white" vs "black" scenerio to keep racism alive. If this race was between Clinton and McCain it would have been "man" vs "woman". Anything to be negative and show hatred towards each other. At the end of the day Obama or McCain will not help your personal ecomony/finances - we all must take steps to improve our own lives. If you can't feed your family or keep a roof over your head you will not be able to call either of them personally for help. To question Obama's citizenship is crazy since the vast majority of our ancestors came from all over the world. People WAKE UP this is about YOU making the necessary changes in your life. This is about YOU not McCain or Obama, what are you going to do to make our world better? Be honest and ask yourself - if you closed your eyes and listen to Obama's message and took race out equation would you be able to understand that we need a change not the same old politics. Most of you who are for the Republicans are broke, busted, and living paycheck to paycheck....what have they done for you lately?

        The price of gas is not only independent of anything the Dems did, it is indipendent of anything done in this country. Oil is an internationaly traded commodity, priced by the forces of supply and demand. Right now, the demand is China and and the supply is out East. Even the all powerful and evil dems can't stop the Chinese from drinking so much oil.

    Fact check.org is full of of bs, the nra has been running ads on Obama's Illinois state senate voting history and his anti gun stance that they call call false. I'm sitting here with his book, Audacity of Hope and his voting record that I pulled off the internet over a year ago that has some become non existent since the Democratic Primary, and this Communist would like to see the mob rule mentality, aka group intimidation, be the driving force of this country without the fear of revolt or self defence. Chicago has had a rising murder rate for years, to go along with one of the worst crime rates in the country. I also find it amusing that the rapper TI recently voted for Obama even though he is a convicted felon for illegally posessing true automatic assault weapons and silencers. He and his wife Michelle call white people racist because alot of us will not vote for him, It is not because of the fact he is black, its the fact he says the fundamental flaw of this country is the US Constitution, I say he is fundamentally flawed for being A Constitutional Lawyer that evidently hasn't read the Constitution. Not a single question has been raised about his actual voting history by the main-stream liberal media, and anytime someone does ask him a question about his policies, and it becomes a negative for his campaign, those who question become mocked and scorned and their personal lifes are torn apart. Wake up people, State run media is already here, socialism is a vote away. The majority of people voting for Obama haven't read the Communist Manifesto written by Karl Marx, let alone the US Constitution. His voting record and his thought pattern fall in line with the Manifesto. As for wanting to spread the wealth, I say stop hiding your money in non taxable investments and start leading by example, if spreading the wealth is such a great idea, then remember, socialism is as good for you Obama, as it is so great for the rest of us.

      That is right; you are full of it. Your quote regarding Obama and the U.S. Constitution is completely incorrect. If you actually did some fact checking on your own, instead of listening to right-winged mouth pieces like Limbaugh, you would know that Obama said the constitution was flawed--meaning it considers black people 5/8 of a person. If you would have read the U.S. Constitution, you would have known about this fundamental flaw. As for "those of us who have not read Marx's Communist Manifesto," you must be one of them. You use the terms communism and socialism interchangeably, and they are not the same thing. Communism is socialism, but with one defining characteristic-- a dictator!

      So as to allay your fears of the U.S. becoming a socialist nation--not to worry --under Obama the same greedy CEOs will be running the banks, the rich will still be rich, except for the first time since the Clinton administration the middle-class will get a break.

    Being a governor for ONE DAY qualifies you more to be President than being a senator for 24 years. Why does Sarah Palin get all the crap?

    Teddy Roosevelt was governor of New York for less time than Palin has been governor of Alaska. And TR is in the top 5 greatest presidents of all time.

    What qualified Lincoln? He was nobody, just a layer, not even a house member. But he's the number one president in history.

    I'm tired of hearing that Palin is not qualified. I'm an independent, but I'm voting for McCain. Wake up, liberals. What don't you people understand?

      Weeeeellllllllll! Have you seen how she has answered some of the questions that have been asked her? Matt Damon's interview that I saw, well, Matt seems to me to be very intelligent. I can't tell you who it was that was conducting the interview, but it shouldn't be all that hard to find. Matt's opinion is that to vote for McCain with Palin as vice-president is ludicrus. McCain could drop dead in office, the day after being sworn in. Does anybody, ANYBODY really think that Sarah Palin is qualified to take over office? Obama/Biden in 2008 and beyond

          she has more executive experience than any of the other 3 people on either ticket. If you want to know what a politition will do for you, look at what they've done. She lowered taxes, got refunds for the state citizens from the oil companies who robbed us. and balanced her budget. That makes her qualified, and proof that she actually works for her consituents!!!

            Please explain what you think executive experience consists of. It would be helpful to know. I have known many executives and have formed my own impression of what they do and how they do it. It doesn't in any way mesh with my impression of Sarah Palen. But perhaps you can convince me.

          I do! Also I try to be informed and listen to all sides. I don't limit myself to what just one candidate or party or person has to say. By the way, many people involved in the Arts are also actively involved in the environment, politics, PETA, etc. etc. etc. I think that their opinions, beliefs, convictions are just as valid, as anyone else's. EVEN YOUR'S Maybe YOU should do the same.

        I cant tell you who to vote for, but I am a republican who is voting for Obama. I'm not going to angrily stomp around name calling, or anything like that, but honestly if you think an aging beauty queen is a solid choice for President, vote for her, but in a year or two when she's walking around in designer clothes and you can't evev afford Wall Mart and they are still saying there is nothing wrong with the economy, don't go whining and crying to anyone. This is not about race or gender, it is about who is in touch with the common person, and "Joe the Plummer" aside, the Republican ticket is not even on the same planet with the rest of us "commoners"....

    I'm 55 and earn over $250,000. My business depends on people being able to afford my services. If they have more spendable income, via Obama's tax break, then I will do more business and my real income will increase. Giving me a tax break to hire new employees (McCain's plan) won't work unless people can afford even more services, and if McCain taxes benefits, as I am a doctor, then it for sure cannot bebefit me, nor my patients. Tricke down economy, as Reagan described it, was called voodoo economice by Bush I. Let's build a solid beconomic base and spend from the bottom up. Go Obama!

      Oh, yeah, sure. This is a man who broke his word about only taking public money for his campaign in an agreement with McCain, to keep both candidates unbought. He immediate broke that word and got private moneys in the amount of 600 million, when McCain only took public money, 84 million. WHO got bought? Open your eyes!!!! As he broke his word about campaign contributions, do you REALLY believe him about ANYthing?

        Frankly, I think he was very smart to choose private funding over public funding. McCain is beholding to the Republican Party for some of his financing and therefore has had to compromise some of his principles. Obama is answerable to the millions of people who are supporting his campaign with small donations and volunteer efforts.

    The overwhelming evidence says clearly that it is far worse than McCain and the other Republicans are saying about Obama. To characterize him as a socialist is almost a compliment compared to the truth. The evidence that Obama is a communist (not just a socialist, but a communist) is so overwhelming that no one who is unbiased and who saw the evidence could deny it.
