    the last time America was po'd at a Republican president we got Jimmy Carter with 12% unemployment and 22% interest rates. Under Bush unemployment is around 6% and home loans are 5 to under 7% if you pay your bills on time.

    What is the change you democrats hunger for?

    • Posted By: rudeboyjr @ 11/01/2008 6:34:28 PM

      How about a shot at the billions of dollars that the oil comapnies stole from us. Or how about the millions that CEOs steal from their employees and force the company out of business and all of the real workers loose their retirements. HOW ABOUT THAT OLD DUDE!!

      • Posted By: OsamaBinLyin2U @ 11/01/2008 6:56:23 PM

        Keep the change Obama. This white american voted McCain/Palin. I will cling to my religion, and my guns. I will continue to vote against murdering a baby in the womb. Accept the consequences to your actions people!! For all those voting Obama, there a millions of illegals like Obama's aunt (in the country ILLEGALLY) depending on your tax dollars to keep them on welfare. They thank you for your vote.

          Unless you are native, you are all here illegally. Go back to where you came from. Its like going to visit your neighbor, and saying I like your place and I am going to take it. By the way, I am going to be nice to you and allow you to like in the bathroom.

        • Posted By: sandyshores10 @ 11/01/2008 7:43:00 PM

          Trust me none of these greedy foolish people will get it until they have drivin out every big business and our country is destetute. They only care about this little check that they will pay for several times over when costs go up all around.

      • Posted By: old fat guy @ 11/01/2008 6:41:17 PM

        The ceo's went to jail and you ain't getting anything from the oil companies until you buy stock in them. No matter who is president.
        We will all be better off if our president is a person that believes in America and our traditions, Obama does not.

        • Posted By: sandyshores10 @ 11/01/2008 7:46:30 PM

          Everyone wants to be jelouse of big oil yet they don't know that texas alone has netted the USA 17 trillion in tax revenues. Face it you have been set up.

    Obama is an entry level man vying for CEO. He committed blatant fraud in the caucus primaries and should be legally investigated, convicted and sentenced for voter fraud. Read Newsmax article By: Kenneth R. Timmerman.
    I think it's criminal that liberals now act like Republicans and cheat every bit as much, in electing the imposter Obama while pointing fingers at McCain. After 40 years of voting straight Democrat and a yellow dog liberal, I am disgusted, embarrassed and ashamed to be a liberal. It was unanimously agreed by media networks and all pundits that Senator Clinton (Obama calls her Mrs. Clinton) won and beat Obama in 21 consecutive debates. Were she a man she'd be the nominee but Obama was picked instead through voting chicanery unrivaled by even the Republicans, Obama stole the democratic nomination. Biden, Edwards, Clinton, everyone knows he cheated. It's just as despicable and insulting to vote for a man solely because he is a democrat or black as it is to vote for Palin solely because she is a woman, and she has more experience than Obama. This is the most despicable election I have ever witnessed thanks to Obama and his accomplice supporter=-"zombies". This is a worse election in my mind than "selection 2000". Cheaters, liars and scoundrels, this defines Obama and his wife. He is offering voters every pie in the sky and has no intention of delivering. In his infomercial he claims "I will always be honest, always listen to you and always tell you why I decided, when making my decisions." He has never done any of it. He didn't listen, but dismissed 18 million voters, half the party. He never gave any reason why he didn't choose Hillary as VP but divided the party instead. He comes as a uniter but his record shows he is a divider. Shame on you people for believing such a liar. Shame on you traitors of the Democratic Party and it???s loyal members! Obama is a ruthless unscrupulous corrupt politican with killer instincts, he's not happy until he goes into Arizona and steals McCains own home state. This is a villain who is drunk for power! Liberal for McCain 2008.

      Please cite REPUTABLE sources for your assertions, if you wish to be taken seriously. Insulting and slandering people really doesn't add anything to this discourse.

      Oh, please!! Obama says one thing one place and the opposite someplace else. Just to get a vote. He's a joke!! And if he's elected, we'll be the butt of that joke.

      • Posted By: sandyshores10 @ 11/01/2008 8:14:09 PM

        Why don't you become moe well read and get to know that it was in fact the democrats who have trashed our economy with there fannie mae dealings. You want more of the same vote Obama and trash us until we cant crawl oput of the hole they bury us in.

    goodoleboy where have you been the last 8 years? There is no way a democrate in office could create more turmoil than the douchnozzle that's in the White House now.

  • Posted By: va4freedom @ 11/01/2008 7:23:42 PM

    Okay, those who are pro-McCain/Palin, where did you all learn how to spell....Palin University??DUHHHH. No wonder this country is going down the tube because of ignorant people. If you are going to blog,please, please do a spell check first & write in complete sentence.

    • Posted By: Sushiboo @ 11/01/2008 8:02:12 PM

      I agree that spelling on the Internet is pretty abysmal but I hardly believe it is solely confined to McCain/Palin supporters. Comment: I would suggest you proofread for context and punctuation before you go throwing stones. I believe the standard phrase ???is down the tubeS??? not ???down the tube. In your final sentence the last word, ???sentence??? should be plural, i.e., also with an ???S.??? An ellipsis (those little dots between words) only has three dots; it only has four if it is at the end of a sentence. An ampersand (&) is not commonly used in written text. And not to be too picky, there should be spaces in between words.

      I suggest that in this forum discussing the issues is more important than using it for petty criticism of people you disagree with. Oh, and for the record, I???m for Obama.

      • Posted By: Sushiboo @ 11/01/2008 8:11:01 PM

        For the record, for some reason my punctuation quotes translated into question marks when posted. I have no idea why.

    • Posted By: drphonic @ 11/01/2008 7:37:33 PM

      Seriously, it's all peckin away like retard chickens. Republicans: are yall even looking at what you're typing? It makes sense that you don't know how to spell, complete a sentence or even a thought since you obviously can't do any research. You only want to live in McCainland cause you can't comprehend change & only respond to fear & hatred. Ugh

  • Posted By: Stasherella78 @ 11/01/2008 8:09:25 PM

    Here is the thing yes there are people out there that are voting for Obama becasue he is Black is it right or intelligent: No,but there are quite a few white people that are voting for McCain becasue he is white and that Palin is a women who by the way is in it for the good ol hockey mom (what about the other types of mothers out there?) They say who knows who Obama knows behind closed doors what about McCain could he know a KKK member? or some group that wants all minorities gone. Everybody is talking about qualifications this and that if you really think about it no one has presidential experience both candidates are senators not presidents or even been a vice president so I would think whoever is our next leader will be learning on the job so to speak. The candidate should have leadership skills and have the skills to bring us together not keep us seperated by saying you are rich you are my friend you are poor you can work for my friend.

    Remember that a dem. congress was voted in 2 years ago, prior to that other than Iraq war, every thing was smooth. Now with a Dem in office what have we got, another Jimmy Carter era. The choices are not that
    good, but I feel that the turmoil will be worse with a dem in office. Just hope we don't have any major
    problems with hate type thinking!

  • Posted By: it's about the future @ 11/01/2008 6:08:44 PM

    It seems to be a question of how many daggers you can land, how much aggressive blood and libel.
    Seems clear that dems would rather talk substance, e.g. the economy, duh?
    But hey, if you have to ......

    The fact that John McCain was born in Panama, has problematic ties of his own;
    with his oil shares,
    his planned $4 billion in new tax breaks to Big Oil;
    and zero for over 100 million Americans in tax relief;
    when ExxonMobil just announced the HIGHEST CORPORATE PROFITS in United States History;
    unfortunate Hagee ties; association to Fannie Mae - his own campaign Manager and Buse;
    his VP and her huband who was a member for 7 years - their documented ties to AIP secessionist party.

    But dems, should we go the robocall route?

    • Posted By: sandyshores10 @ 11/01/2008 8:05:27 PM

      The oil companies will transfer that into wealth for workers and more workers and research your own investments are tied to OIL. Yet the democrats are always cutting our throats and using the jellousy card on people who just can't do the math.

    • Posted By: Mercer Co Buckeye @ 11/01/2008 7:19:32 PM

      Could it possibly be that Daddy McCain was serving his country and his son just happened to be born then???? I don't know, but he was in the Navy, RIGHT? Shame on you! What background does Sen. Obama have to brag about. I really haven't heard, maybe some of his were in the military??

  • Posted By: 123jenn45 @ 11/01/2008 5:58:46 PM

    Ask where FactCheck.org is located? Chicago. Ask who served on their board of directors for years? Obama. I would NOT believe anything coming from them. Just another company bought by Obama. Barry Soetoro (Indonesian Nation of Islam student to Occidental College), goes back to Indonesia with his 2 other Indonesian citizen roomates, visits with their families (and no telling who else), comes back with a pocketful of money, changes his name back to Barack Hussein Obama. Takes the letter of recommendation letter from Saudi Arabian Prince, w/known ties to terrorists, and the money given him to Columbia University, and Barack Hussein Obama is born. He practiced the Muslim religion in Indonesia from Kindergarten to 5th grade. He worshipped Allah and got on his knees daily. That is the time when you are the most vulnerable. This man is a HUGE danger to America.

      Obama server on the Annenburg Board--fact.check is a project of the Annenburg Foundation. By the way, the president of the Annenburg is a McCain supporter. Does that make fact.check more reputable in your opinion?

    I don't care who gets in, I'm not voting. Their both a pair of idots. I myself am sick of hearing both of them.
    My question is both of them voted with the Treasury and the Fed to grab money from taxpayers. The Fed is private. Why are they in the lead all the time. Who voted for them. Why was Obama and McCain and Bush at the table. Who is running this country anyways. Were all a bunch of fools.

  • Posted By: mtspadebit @ 11/01/2008 5:33:03 PM

    are people not hearing what Barack Hussein Obama is saying or just ignoring the facts because he is black? Why wont he produce proof that he is a u.s. citizen? and why do homeless people get to vote for Obama from a "bench address" when the same people can not get retirement, welfare, or any government checks without a physical address? P.O. boxes arent good enuf to receive financial help but a bench is good enough as long as it is for Obama? Listen up follks, there is no way he can even begin to do the things he says he is going to do . A more experienced person would know better than to make empty promises

    • Posted By: ruckus @ 11/01/2008 5:50:05 PM

      I wish you Republicans would stop using Obama's middle name trying to envoke fear in people. You bringing up his race and middle name just proves that you are nothing more than an uninformed racist that can see past the color of his skin or his middle name. And for your information he was born in Hawaii and that has been proven time and time again. Why don't you come back with some real facts and stop with the hate and lies.

        Then WHERE is that proof? I haven't seen the proof anywhere. And I've looked. I did find a picture of his Kenyan grandmother, however, who stated she was there at his birth. In a hospital in Kenya!!

    As an African Canadian I really feel sorry for USA. I do not know why Americans areallowing Barak Obama such an easy sail in this election. He is inexperienced, has a lot of associates that are anti USA and what America stands for.

    Isit because he is a black ?Are Americans too scared to see the thruth, are they afraid to stand up againt a "minority? Barack is a good Orator that is all. Americans please wake up before it is too late. Vote on priciple not on emotions.

    Newsweek has said over and over that Obama's plan wouldn't affect people makeing less than $200,000. First, he HAS said that he wants to do away with Bush's Capital Gains Tax Cut. Newsflash, plenty of people that make less than $200,000 do have capital gains, so either Newsweek Reporters can't figure that out, or they don't want to list the truth. Secondly, do you actually beleive that either candidate will actually end up doing the plan they say? I guarantee that Obama will raise taxes on people making less than $200,000.

    • Posted By: sandyshores10 @ 11/01/2008 8:02:35 PM

      Obamas plan will effect every consumer and every job.

  • Posted By: EdieV @ 11/01/2008 8:02:04 PM

    Spread the wealth simply means that the billionaires who make up the top 1% don't get to keep all the money. Maybe some of us who make less that $200,000 would like to have a little relief. That is what Obama has been proposing. Doesn't anyone really listen anymore. Too many people are so afraid that a black man might be elected president of this country that they will believe anything the old while haired man has to say. Wake up and listen! This is coming from an old white haired lady!

  • Posted By: kathogn @ 11/01/2008 6:12:09 PM

    I'm ashamed to admit that I actually voted for Bush... But I do not intend to make the same mistake twice, This time The democrats have my vote! I honestly cannot afford another 4 years of same old, same old. Listening to the negative ads mainly from the McCain/Palin camp, I find it hard to believe people actually fall for this B.S., but I have found that they do considering all the bulletins posted on My Space with outlandish claims about Obama. Then you can always look at his (McCain's) supporters conduct. False police reports... I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree... If McCain is elected President I will know just how much B.S. it takes to play on people's fears and send them running to the "Good ole boy's camp"! Common America, Wake up and smell the coffee! Check out all the ads, not just the ones you disagree with!

      For all the people wanting the democrats in office,please think about all the things that weren;t accomlpished when they were the presidents. And we will see what taxes are raised, cause Democrats do raise taxes and I will believe what I see not hear. I do not agree with Bush on many aspects but he did lower taxes.

      • Posted By: sandyshores10 @ 11/01/2008 8:01:28 PM

        I think about all the democrats have given us like a trillion in debt and how many more will they saddle our future generations with? Remember it was the democrats who melted down the housing i n the USA with there give aways and they have only just begun.

      • Posted By: vlamb @ 11/01/2008 7:37:16 PM

        One of the things that was accomplished in the last Democrat administration was the balancing of the budget and the existence of a surplus for funding social security, something into which we have all been paying for many years. Both the surplus and everything else is gone now--including a big chunk of most people's retirement funds. Where have you been? Out of the country?

    • Posted By: rudeboyjr @ 11/01/2008 6:21:42 PM

        And he will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction. That is a quote from his book "Audacity Of Hope". You should read that and his first book "Dreams Of My Farther". It is sickening that this man is even in politics. While you are at it read Michelle Obama's college Thesis. She is a racist, just like him. Do you want such a person leading our Great Nation? Of course not!
