When you look at how the Mccain group is saying any and everything to discredit Obama I would not put it past them to have the voting machines rigged. How do we know if the votes will be counted correctly? Who is minding the store at diebold the company that makes and maintains many of this voting machines? It has been proven that the voting machines can be rigged in about 60 seconds with a card that has the information needed to switch votes to another candidate.

It has happened before (FL 2000 hanging chads and OH 2004 mismanagement) and look where America is now. My biggest fears could come true-4 more years of Republicans robbing the poor so the rich can stay rich. VOTE OBAMA

I agree I told my husband if McCain wins it is the Bush administration again "fixing" the outcome, why does this happen only in Key States Ohio and Florida? Remember in 2004 Bush said he would win Ohio? and low and behold, voting there was questioned and the devil won...

Listen you can blame the rep party for everything but the democrats are for raising taxes and also taking from the middle class and given to lazy ppl that want to stay on welfare granted some ppl need it but more than half of them dont. Now as for Obama wake up ppl I would not want a President of my Country to be hanging our with hate mongers such as Rev. Wright & Bill Ayers blowing up gov.bldgs in the 60's and 70's and then says he has no remorse and is currently a professor in Chicago teaching our young ppl also wrote a book and dedicated it to Sirhan Sirhan come on ppl wake up and smell the coffee. The one thing I can say for McCain is that he is a true American hero. Another bit of information Obama's wife was an American Flag burner now if you want to be stupid and vote for a man who seems like he is for America then what a surprise you will find out the hard way that he is not for Americans he was at a dinner convention with more hate mongers comparing Americans with Nazi's and also he has friends who say judhism is a garbage religion So now you tell me which one of these Canditates are right for America. It is simple wake up you diluted morons that are for Obama you might just get your wish and then we will see thousands of babies destroyed and the American flag spit upon and send our soldiers home in defeat and all those other soldiers died in vain. Morons in this country are voting for Obama the Lhama.

Listen people the VAST MAJORITY of the people in this country make less than $200,000 a year. I'm too Poor to vote republican! And get off the Aires thing, if Charles Manson said he would vote for McCain would it change your mind?

To easy to discredit Obama as he has no experience and accomplishments to credit him for! When will people realize that campagins always discredit an opponents accomplishments and plans. With Obama all you have is his friends NOW and in the PAST and his life style and actions. He and his wife and their church should tell you what he really thinks about White America!

      • Posted By: Trish530 @ 11/01/2008 7:28:16 PM

When McCain was a POW in Vietnam, his dad had enough power to pull strings to get him out. He was the last to go. That shows integrity. Heck, Obama would had hidden out in the Middle East until the war was over.

I really can't believe that so many americans are this stupid. Barack HUSSEIN Obama started his campaign in the living room of a terrorist! Don't even give that crap about he just knows these people, they have groomed him very nicely. Please wake up before tuesday. Believe me we fo NOT want his kind of change.
We still live in the best country in the world! Our poorest people have a place to live and food on the table.
I don't want our american values to change (as the Obama's do) I want my children to be able to grow up, educate thamselves, be successful, make over 250 thousand and not be penalized for their hard work.

    • Posted By: LarBear @ 11/01/2008 4:58:52 PM

You apparently are living proof of "stupidity"... FACT: Obama did NOT start his Career in Ayers living room... The Party was for Obama's Political Mentor, Alice Palmer, who actually invited Obama... Ayers was long before reformed and though opposes War, was no longer in the Weather Underground...
Fact: Wealthy people and Corporation do NOT pay the full percentage of Income Tax claimed... They have Tax Attorneys finding Loopholes to prevent that... The Obama Plan is to roll back the break Bush gave his wealthy Contributors and have them pay an ACTUAL more fair share of the Taxes... Seemingly it is the "non wealthy" dreaming about being wealthy actually doing the complaining... Would paying lets say $350, 000. (35%) instead of $300,000. (30%) out of a Million, stop you from seeking to make a Million??? At one time the Tax was near 70% and yes that was disincentive and unfair...
I have no objections to a Fair Tax as long as it excludes loopholes... A certain % based on income above a certain point... But the same % all the way up.... As Warren Buffet has so clearly stated, his secretary paid in a higher % of her income then Warren did....
Try looking up "Songbird McCain" if you want to know who betrayed the USA... And Palin is connected with a Seperatist Group in Alaska.... Do a little FACT Checking and stupidity disolves...

      • Posted By: apiowlynn @ 11/01/2008 7:59:34 PM

if Ayers is so reformed, why has he not said, you're right, I was a stupid young kid & I'm sorry? It's because he's not and he still feels the same way he did when he was bombing things (and people). You are the one ignoring facts. McCain is not a hypocrite, Obama is.

      • Posted By: QuadEagle @ 11/01/2008 7:15:12 PM

Boy are you brainwashed LarBear. Alice Palmer announced Barak Obama as her heir-apparent in Ayers??? living room. I don???t know about you, but if John McCain was invited by a third party into David Dukes??? living room where it was announced that he would be the next Senator from Arizona you and I would both have issue with that. Wealthy people and Corporations do pay enough tax. The top 5% of wage earners pay 70% of the taxes in this country. Loopholes or not, isn???t that enough? Where???s the outrage about the lower 40% of wage earners paying no taxes? Is that fair? Before you call someone stupid you ought to know what you???re talking about.

  • Posted By: mozart @ 11/01/2008 6:19:09 PM

Common sense...that's all we should be looking at. For instance...what is the state of the economy and the welfare of the people in Chicago? That's where Obama has had the proven track record over many years now. (Not so good). Likewise, don't blame George Bush for everything...there is a Congress and Senate who have had plenty to do with our current state of economy, budget spending, and national security...and they have all failed miserably.

I'm a Democrat, but I can't vote for the Democratic candidate when all I ever hear is how he wants to spend more money, (in practically every speech). We should be expecting a government that is run as our own businesses and households are run. Over the past year, I've had to diversify my income stream as well as monitor my spending carefully to make sure that all that I do is effective...but the same is certainly not practiced and applied in Washington.

When I see the majority of our leaders recently adding over $110,000,000,000 to our financial emergency bailout plan for ridiculous and frivolous things such as Puerto Rican rum subsidies then it simply makes me head to the voting booth not with emotions, but armed with common sense. We want to send a message that simply says: "No more handouts!" Likewise, what will happen to our prices when middle and large companies are hit with higher taxes? As one CEO said, "We'll have to move out of the country, or raise our rates to compensate for all of these increases that are being proposed." (Good-bye existing jobs, hello inflation, greetings foreign investors).

Please join me and ask for common sense and reason from our leaders rather than simply making it a habit of telling everyone what they want to hear.

Vote for John McCain, and vote for the candidate who is running against an existing Congressional or Senate seat.

Second highest crime rate? yes! One of the most expencive cities to live in under democrat rule? YES! This effects every class of people not just the so called rich you use to work for.

Giving Money to any one that hasn't earned it and deserves it only enforces them to stay poor and not work for a living. It has been proven WELEFARE does not work! Respect for ones self is important so share the JOBS not the wealth of the working people. Look at New Orleans and see what the Democrats did with people on Welfare!

    • Posted By: vlamb @ 11/01/2008 7:53:51 PM

Hmm. What about people who can't work because they are disabled or sick? What about people with cancer who have lost their insurance because their companies have let them go. What about older people who are trying to survive on social security or have lost their retirement funds. What if they have lost their houses as well? What about people who have three or four low-paying jobs to make ends meet? What about people who have hourly jobs without insurance and get sick? What do we do with all these freeloaders when they can't take care of themselves--humanely put them out of their misery??

    • Posted By: pennybabbitt @ 11/01/2008 7:16:13 PM

Not everyone who needs help is a welfare loser. What do you think would happen to the crime rates without welfare??? In Michigan you have to go to Work First and put in a Resume and actually look for a job in order to get welfare. The problem is there aren't any jobs! When GM closed alot of it's factories in Michigan John McCain said to those workers and I Quote "so you lost your jobs, get over it". Why do you think he pulled out of campaining in Michigan back in September??? Because he knows it's a lost cause!!!

  • Posted By: kkepilot @ 11/01/2008 6:21:38 PM

Both partys have been attacking each other. But don't put all the blame on McCain. The liberal media and the Democrats spent a month or so trying very hard to discredit Sarah Palin over non-issues. They are afraid of her.
The Republicans didn't steal the last election, Gore tried to do that. If a person is so dumb that they don't know how to vote, then maybe they shouldn't vote.

Actually there are plenty of Republicans who think Sarah Palen is a drag on the ticket. Sounds like your the dummy. Both of McCain's parents were in the military. McCain was born on a US Military Base in a US Military Hospital, so of course he is a US Citizen! DAH. The same cannot be said for Hussein Obama. if he has nothing to hide, why can't he prove he is a true citizen and why does he use an Indonesian passport? There are too many unanswered questions. Like the 1000's of donations he has been receiving DAILY for $199.00. Only $1.00 under the rule of $200 or more have to show where the money came from. If he has nothing to hide and money really is not coming from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Iran, then why not hand over the records? Why? Because it would prove we are all correct. He is working for the Middle Easterns. Obama say's he will dismantle Reagan's Missile Space Program, when China and Russia and North Korean are going tull speed ahead with there. We will be defenseless! He say's he will rid us of ALL our nuclear weapons. What do you think will happen to America when we are defenseless? WAKE UP people! It's not too late! If you want to watch with your own eyes and see Obama tell you himself in last years TV commercial. google.."obama youtube arrogance just became a nightmare.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sj91NH5fvw

    • Posted By: vlamb @ 11/01/2008 7:48:10 PM

I don't find it hard to believe that most of the donations are genuine. They have a super well-organized campaign, and solicit small donations frequently. I imagine they will release records eventually, but trying to extract all information from a database that size that is constantly in use is like trying to change a tire on a moving car.

    • Posted By: vlamb @ 11/01/2008 7:44:11 PM

You are making a lot of unsubstantiated assertions. Please cite your sources--reputable ones, please-- so that people can make informed decisions as to whether or not to be influenced by what you say. If you can't do that, then you are just spreading rumors. How then should anyone by persuaded by what you say?
Also, insulting people and calling them names doesn't help your argument.

Why did we go into Iraq? To find weapons of mass destruction! We didn't find any so why are we still there? I swear if I hear Caribou Barbie say that "if we leave Iraq it would be like waving the white flag" one more time I'm gonna scream! We already won it's time to leave! Saddam didn't fly those planes into our buildings Bin Laudin did, although I do believe that Saddam had to go but it was later than it should have been (Daddy should have taken him out when he had the chance). From everything I've seen and read It seems to me like the ONLY CANIDATE who cares that the middle and lower class is getting screwed by tax cuts created for the wealthy is Obama. We work just as hard as the rest of the people in this nation and yet because we didn't have the same opportunities as some we have to pay more how is that right? Trickle down economics isn't working because Joe the Plumber is a greedy SOB! If you make more YOU should be PAYING more!!!

    • Posted By: QuadEagle @ 11/01/2008 7:43:18 PM

We went to Iraq because Saddam Hussein violated UN sanctions and there were penalties associated with these violations. Bush led the charge, but he was given his authority by Congress. Virtually every free country in the world agreed that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction, so the United States was not the only country surprised by their not being in Iraq. Regarding taxes, I assure you pennybabitt that you do not pay more than ???the rich???. The top 5% of wage earners pay 70% of the taxes. People who make more already pay more. The argument isn???t if they should pay more. The argument is that if they do, who is really going to pay? If taxes go up on the people or company for whom you work, they are going to have to get the money somewhere. You???ll end up paying in the long run, either through higher prices (to pay the taxes of corporations) or through the loss of your job. If America was full of people like you who blame everyone else for you being a victim, we would not be the great country that we are today. Instead of blaming your President, your neighbor, and your employer; why don???t you get your life together and start creating some opportunity for yourself? Things in life don???t come free. You have to work hard for the advantages you get in life. If you did it yourself you might see how repugnant it is for people who have worked so hard for all their lives to be told that they are evil, heartless, and privileged and that they are responsible for all the downtrodden. I personally make a fraction every year of what Obama or Biden earns, yet I gave nearly 4 times more to charity than did Senator Biden. What does that tell you?

    • Posted By: Mercer Co Buckeye @ 11/01/2008 6:56:12 PM

Let's see your interest in paying more to help me, when you're the one who's making it by working so hard! I'm not near any income level that anyone says they are going to raise taxes on, but I don't think they should take your money so I can live better. That's not democracy.

    • Posted By: rudeboyjr @ 11/01/2008 6:40:59 PM

Truth? Both parties had a hand in where we are at. It is what do now, and what we want going forward? I have already investigated and research both men. McCain has experience and even though I have not always agreed with his position. He is the right man for this time. Barack Obama simply does not have the experience or especially foresight to see what negative reprucussions lie ahead for us if he enacts his programs. I know that my children and grandchildren will still be paying for it all decades from now.

      • Posted By: pennybabbitt @ 11/01/2008 7:41:53 PM

Everyone in Congress got the same intelligence info--same as Bush. We have the worst intelligence agency in the world--mainly because Carter gave all the names of the collaborators to the enemy 30 plus years ago and the intel network has never been rebuilt. Now, prove that Bush lied--no one can do that and it is a myth that he did. He made the best decision he could based upon the intelligence he received. Israel, England, the French, and the UN all believed Iraq had WMD's so I guess they were all lying. The real liars are the ones who insist Bush lied based upon no evidence but 20-20 hind-sight. You should all be ashamed of yourself. Hundreds, maybe thousands of soldiers died in Iraq because of lack of support in this country and mainly Congress. The war would have been brought to a quick conclusion were it not for the people who provided indirect support for the terrorists by insisting they would pull the U.S. troops out of Iraq.

rudedude the United Nations had resolutions that called for finding the WMD's he used them on his own ppl so he "HAD" them ... if he didn't have them he should have let the world see he didn't have them like he was supposed to ... he didn't now he's gone ... we can not turn that country back over to the people untill they can safely handle it ... they have already taken control of a lot of it and will take more control as they can .... it has to go full term till they can .. if not no one will ever trust us to help them again ... we will become like the french who never finishes anything it starts ( panama canal, vietnam, etc. )

It's quite possible that no one will ever trust us again, but there are many reasons for that. Irag did not ask us to invade their country to "help them." That's not why we were there at all.

Democrats have never "listened" to G. Bush. They made up their own minds. The information was there, Saddam needed to be stopped. The next one we are going to have trouble with is Iraq. Do you want Obama dealing with that or John McCain??? I'll vote for McCain. The people of Iran and Iraq know what they're up against with him. They also know that Obama doesn't have the inclination to stop them or to defend our country.

Tsk, Tsk. I don't think that was really necessary. You do what you criticise others for doing!
