    Mc Cain spent over 5 years "hanging" around with communists. Why doesn't anybody bring that up? Mc Cain was a failure as a pilot (crashed 3 planes). He would be a terrible President.

    If McCain comes back and wins this election, it will be because the people finally looked at the issues without the Liberal Media filter. Obama has basically had a free form in the Media to say whatever he wants without anyone questioning him. Mr. Obama what do you mean when you say fundamental change? How are you going to give 95% of us a tax cut and do all the things you have been saying you are going to do?

    Why don't you just be honest? The McCain campaign has not only been unscrupulous as far as their ads go, they have so frequently distorted facts, they are basically outright lying. Why won't mainstream media "factcheck" that.

    we no longer have a government of the "people" by the "people" for the "people" .... we have a government of lawyers ..... where are the farmers cooks cabdrivers beauty parlor workers managers etc we had 1 revolutions for taxation without representation now it's time for one for taxation with to much representation .... the senate and reps were never meant to be full time career positions they were to go to washington represent "US" not what they thought then get back to work in thier jobs

    I can not believe that they comment that on Obama being anti-American and a Muslim. First America was born because of religious freedom, the pubs think we should all be the same and if you are different you are not a true American. Palin's hubby is member of the succession group to be a country of their own, now is that an "I am a better American than you" attitude. Palin herself attended the sessions of this radical group that is an anti-American act. plus she is ignorant of the law and the constitution.
    Obama's comment "spread the wealth" is something I agree with. My husband and I were middle class and now we are just lumped in the poor group due to pay increases being far below the cost of living increases for 8 years.
    One more thing Clinton was on top of binhiden, he warned Bush and it and Bush ignored it. The attack happened under the republican senate, congress and the president. Clinton had the car bombed that he thought bin lande was in but it was his brother. So don't lie about Clinton not being on the watch, Bush minimized that risk, and 9/11 happened because he was all about Iraq and getting back at them for daddy. That is why he didn't care about the Taliban.
    I am a Christian and the God I pray to loves everything living thing on this planet, and Muslins are not evil they just believe differently than I do.
    The two men that blew up the Oklahoma building were Christians so does that mean all Christians are evil? No, it means those two men were evil. Every religion has it???s extremist, do not base any religion on the acts of a few extremist.

      Muslim's are God's children too. Our country was founded on religious freedom. I just wish so many radical Muslims weren't out to destroy us. The two "Christian" men you spoke about were not followers of Christ! They might have called themselves Christains, but we can call ourselves anything we like, that doesn't make it so.

      The Annenburg Foundation president is a supporter of McCain, so that should sort of even the playing field for FactCheck, I would think that would make them pretty trustworthy from your perspective.

    I think anyone voting should have to pass a test first. They should be able to tell you who are running for VP. If they don't know the simplest facts, hey should not be able to vote. Also, EVERYONE casting a vote should have to show a drivers license or state issued ID. My friend went to vote yesterday and was told she had voted last Saturday! She demanded to see her signature. She was turned away. This election is turning in to a complete joke! I fear the nightmares on Tuesday!

      Only if you want them to drill for oil and have the price of gas at a reasonable level. The alternative is to pay 8 times as much for wind driven power or solar--the direction of big Al Gore and the green weenies. By the way check the amount of taxes these oil companies pay. Remember if they don't explore for oil the cost of gas goes up even more and the taxes are all passed on to the comsumer--or just do what Maxine Waters suggested take over the oil companies and be like Venezuela poverty stricken and oil production down every year due to the government running it.

      Oh come on......Obama will give tax breaks to Oil companies if he is elected, look at his record on keeping his word. Do you have a signed contract from him on his promises he has made to you so far? When it comes down to jobs and where the oil companies do business they will give tax breaks to get the business and jobs in those communities. Why are we crying our gas prices are way lower than Europe and England. If you are so worried about Oil Companies quit using oil and think of another way to get around and stay warm. Its the law of supply and demand.

    Why don't they go back to the old days when interest on car loans was deductable? Heck, it might even help sell some of the vehicles made and help get the car companies back on track. Just a thought you know. My plight in this thing is car companies have been able to get incredible mileage out of the full size cars some 50 years ago. Doesn't seem to me that going backwards means forward....!@#$%^&***

      I was hoping someone would point that out. Unfortunately the massive amount of monies spent by the Obama campaign funds websites like factcheck. Those websites have funded a gigantic wave of propaganda to obscure the real Barack agenda. Like Dave said, "turn off your television, cancel your subscription to Newsweek and use the New York Times to line you birdcage".

    Well folks, if we are going to discuss differences we must be respectful to each other. About Lanah22, yes, we Americans do take our elections seriously. some of us care about what happens to our country. As far as screwing up the Iraq war? Maybe everyone involved didn't do everything right but we didn't just sit by and do nothing. No one can ever predict what direction a war is going to take. Maybe if we had more help from other countries we could have done a better job. Al Quaida and terrorist organizations are the whole world's problem, not just America.

    Let's face it. There has been a lot of mudslinging and mis-information by both candidates. All we can do is do our homework on each candidate and try to make an informed choice. I don't feel that putting someone down for choosing either candidate is the answer. There is too much hate in this world and it is not necessary. We should try to respect each others point of view whether we agree with it or not. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and should not be chastized for it. First Ammendment ,yes, but it should not be used to promote hate.
