I love all these ignorant racist McCain supporters trying to clammer about how Obama is an Arab or a Muslim. Both of these are bold faced lies...You know what is true though? McCain cheated on his disfigured ex-wife with his current wife. What a role model!!

Don't even get me started on Palin. She is the defenition of sexism. She is "off-limits." That in and of itself is sexism. If women are to be treated equally to men, then shouldn't her experience matter? If a man had her inexperience (and abuse of governorial power) they would be laughed at and outcast immediately. But because she is a woman she is "off-limits"!!! What a joke. What a joke.

Wow, someone refering to a group of people with a blanket statement....what is that again? I can't remember, oh, it's the same as what he is accusing others of....LOL

Even McCain defended Obama when a misinformed McCain supporter stated that Obama was Arabic at one of his town hall rallies. McCain went as far as to say Obama would make a good president and considered him a friend.

    • Posted By: it's about the future @ 11/01/2008 4:01:52 PM

A friend will not make milions of sleazy robocalls and mailings all around this country
stating that your colleague in the Senate (Obama) is a "ter....ist".
This a National Security issue, is it not? So why isn't it?

Obama is a member of many committees in the Senate. One of the committees of which
he is a member, is the HOMELAND SECURITY AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
Obama was backed by Lee ,one of the top 9/11 national security members a long time ago.
And by Colin Powell last week.

Seems like you will go out lying with your McMentors, the way you came in.

Is this guy kidding? Obama is an American, Period! He is the absolute example of what can happen if a person works hard, goes to school and gets an education. For anyone to say he does not respect our flag, our country or our troops has to be so misinformed and brainwashed that any form of logic has completely escaped their mind. Obama is half white and half black. HE IS ALL AMERICAN! To suggest otherwise is completely ludicrous. American needs an intelligent President. It???s time to stop electing C students like Bush to represent us as a country. McCain graduated 5th from the bottom of his class! Obama is a Harvard Graduate at the top of his class. The choice is obvious for anyone who has the least bit of common sense. I???m not saying that McCain is a bad person but his choice in Sarah Palin as his running mate clearly shows a lack of judgment especially with our country in a crisis. We are a nation that is barely surviving off its reputation. We no longer produce anything. We are a country of consumers and we don???t need another bottom of the barrel President flushing our prestige down the drain. I personally have a name from India. It does not mean I am less American. I was born here. I served in Air Force during 9-11-01. For the republicans to consistantly use his middle name is proof that they just want to associate him with something the American public will fear. Its playground politics and name calling when we need real leadership and answers.

People why was it taht Obama made a comment a few years ago that he would not run in 2008 for president because he was very afraid that he would not have nearly enough experience or that his faimly's history might really hurt him and that his association with Bill Ayers might come up

Comment: Maybe a dgree in Law from Harvard is not good enough for you but I do fine Thank You very much, also a Business degree from Michigan is not to bad either.

LMAO.... Based upon your run on sentences, with no comma and period, you are not actually claiming you have a Law Degree, or Business Degree... You just imply you have one... I also notice that you failed to document Obama actually made your comment...

Be careful what you believe that is produced by FactCheck.org. Obama SAT ON THE BOARD of the Annenburg Foundation which is part of the Annenburg Institute.........a William Ayers organization. This organization provides funding for FactCheck.org. They have no reason whatsoever to produce anything truthful in regards to John McCain.

    • Posted By: ronwithrow @ 11/01/2008 4:00:47 PM

Where the hell did you dig that stretch up from? The Annenberg Institute is funded by Republican sources, NOT Ayers. Ambassador Walter H. Annenberg is the founder and original source funder. Mr. Annenberg is a Republican and Ayers' only connection is a program to improve the education of inner city kids in Chicago. One need only to Google it to see that. Ninny!

I want to know why NO ONE is bothered by McCain's campaign slogan COUNTRY FIRST? From a secular point of view this should bother EVERYONE. Country first? Not freedom? Not family? Every country that has become overly nationalistic has reduced or totally removed individual freedoms and become overly aggressive in their foreign policy. Like Germany in WWII.

And for Christians, putting ANYTHING before God is idolatry. Read your Bibles people! IDOLATRY is a SIN! You should not vote for someone telling you to put your country first instead of GOD!

    • Posted By: jstar @ 11/01/2008 4:00:35 PM

hitler did not put germany 1st, he put himself 1st. if he had put germany first, he would not have started lying to his people on a regular basis.

"Meanwhile, McCain has continued to broadcast, in speeches and ads, his most harped-upon deception of the campaign, telling voters that Obama favored higher taxes on "families making over $42,000 a year." As we've said ad nauseam, Obama's plan would raise taxes only on individuals making more than $200,000 a year, or couples or families making more than $250,000."

The quote by McCain was referring to a vote by both Obama and Biden that contained a provision that would have raised taxes for those households making as little as $42K. As for "only" raising taxes on individuals making over $200K and families making over $250K, you seem to be conveniently forgetting that his tax proposals call for a "rollback" of tax rates to the Clinton-era levels. A de facto increase over what is being paid now, whether he chooses to acknowledge the fact.

If I may post my own questions, why do you think it's such a good thing to raise the tax rates on these individuals/businesses? These are the ones who already bear a disproportionate share of the federal tax burden, while the bottom 50% of wage earners contribute only 2.7% of total federal income tax revenue and access a far greater portion of federal social services. Besides, where do Obama/Biden get their $250K figure? Making $250K in rural areas is much different than making $250K in NYC or Chicago or San Francisco. Who annointed them as the arbiters of "how much is too much"?

I can not believe that they comment that on Obama being anti-American and a Muslim. First America was born because of religious freedom, the pubs think we should all be the same and if you are different you are not a true American. Palin's hubby is member of the succession group to be a country of their own, now is that an "I am a better American than you" attitude. Palin herself attended the sessions of this radical group that is an anti-American act. plus she is ignorant of the law and the constitution.
Obama's comment "spread the wealth" is something I agree with. My husband and I were middle class and now we are just lumped in the poor group due to pay increases being far below the cost of living increases for 8 years.
One more thing Clinton was on top of binhiden, he warned Bush and it and Bush ignored it. The attack happened under the republican senate, congress and the president. Clinton had the car bombed that he thought bin lande was in but it was his brother. So don't lie about Clinton not being on the watch, Bush minimized that risk, and 9/11 happened because he was all about Iraq and getting back at them for daddy. That is why he didn't care about the Taliban.
I am a Christian and the God I pray to loves everything living thing on this planet, and Muslins are not evil they just believe differently than I do.
The two men that blew up the Oklahoma building were Christians so does that mean all Christians are evil? No, it means those two men were evil. Every religion has it???s extremist, do not base any religion on the acts of a few extremist.

I believe you are either stuip or an Obama supporter are just a liear, we all heared Obama answer to Joe the plummer. he said he would take from Joe if he made 250,000 and give to the less. then he said 200,000 the other day. the Joe Biden said 150,000 then Bill Richern said 120,000. How dare call John McCain a liear on this topic . We see media bias.

For all those saying McCain is like Bush bologne, he voted with the deomcrat on 90% of the bills, Obama less, did you know that Obama's competion for senate had to drop out do to sex scandels so no competion. But what gets me most is still the radical family that he fully supports or how about how he wants to work with the leaders in Cuba, Iran, and middle eastern countries that are so anti american its not funny. His lies are so endless and his experience is even shorter. He has never sttod for anything american, and has never been to any other country other than kenya and Iraq, so where's his vast experience in foreign policy he talks about. Heck even his vice president in speeches seems to even wonder about what would happen if a big descion needed to be made. I could go on, but Mccain is not Bush and if you look at McCains voting record on bills he has actually gone against bush more than Obama, How can anyone trust Obama for goodness sakes people he's Arabic and his family who he fully supports and his friends are Anti American. Remember 911 and do not let it happen again

    • Posted By: rose 311 @ 11/01/2008 3:57:27 PM

Obama is not an Arab he is an american, he's a family man, a man who was able to graduated from Harvard University and become a professor of constitutional law. At least will have a president with a brain and some common sense who will surround himself with smart people who understand what is happening in the usa and around the world. I guess you were very happy with what the Bush administration has done to our country. Well the Bush admistration who represented the republican party right wing only, really did a job on practically destroying this country. I guess it would be acceptable to you whatever they did because you have blinders on. Well this is the 21st century and there's Republicans, independants and democrats who are sicken by what is going on in this country. It is time to change the course, it is time to exchange bitterness, racism, etc. and make this country one color not red and blue. We should think of ourselves as americans. Remember if we do not keept church and state separate then we are no different than the radical muslims... Most wars are fought because of religion. It is a God given right to have your own believes and not impose on others.

The McCain people has run out of ideas and now are making things up to discredit Senator Obama. Senator McCain will return to the Senate disgraced and with no honor. I feel sorry for him, he used to stand for something and gave everything up for a taste of power. The beauty of the right to vote is that we can vote today for a candidate and if we don't agree with his or her policies, we have the opportunity to removed them from the job. Barack deserves the opportunity to lead our Nation. He has proved in the last 21 months that he understands what is ailing our Country. I realized that a a lot of the promises he has made he will not be able to keep, that is politics and I understand. Our Nation deserves a taste of change!

    Questioning the American Bolshevik views
    1. Is wealth redistribution taking money from stockholders and redistributing it to those who don???t pay taxes?
    2. Is it more important to make sure that illegal votes are not disenfranchised or making sure that groups like ACORN do not nullify honest votes.
    3. Would premature U.S. withdrawal from Iraq grand jihadists a victory and make all of our accomplishments, money spent and lives lost a big waist?
    4. Can this country afford to grant socialist Democrats total control of the government and allow them to sacrifice our safety by cutting the military budget by 25%?
Now comes the big question. How do we stop socialism from ruining our lives?
The answer is simple. Don???t vote American Bolsheviks into power and boycott the socialist propaganda media into bankruptcy.
