Gosh by golly , all you demoslobik bloggonistas just think you have all the coy answers to attack anti anything oblahma on hand.
I spent 12 yr in uniform , have children and a home and a good blue collar job. I don't need nor want any government help. I also have seen european style socialism and communism.... a vote for Barrry oblahma is a vote to go that route. That Oblahmatons just spout talking points that change with the wind here is par for the course. To see the reality of the left's hunger for more tax money from the lowest income they can manage is nothing new - class warfare with a toned down karl marx approach.
Can someone explain to the masses what exactly oblahma stands for and his personal opinions without talking a party talking point ?...... you can't as he's a blank emotionless slate. The right kind of silly putty to be made into whatever the gullible crowd mentality can be bent to perceive and believe. Remember when "barry" said he was his brother's keeper... the brother in Kenya living in a mud floored hut, or the illegal immigrant aunt living on the dole in a blue state city slum.
TOO MUCH OLBAHMA KOOLAIDE FROM THE MEDIA... thank god I hate koolaide and loathe socialism.

This article was obviously written to defend Obama against the McCain ads and not the other way around. It's clear the mainstream media supports Obama and this is one more example of how it's doing its best to seem neutral while practicing 'one sided journalism'. But, I'm still proud to be an American!

Thank you for telling the truth about everything being said by the candidates. I have to admit, when this campaign season began I confidently supported McCain. Not so anymore. In my opinion, he has completely mishandled his campaign and translating this, inspires no confidence for being able to lead a country. His numerous lies against Obama illustrates this. The latest misstep involves this alleged questionable connection with the Palestinian supporter from years ago. As it turns out, McCain and his various boards of which he was a part of, donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the SAME Palestinian supporter years before Obama ever met the man. In addition, Bill Ayers was a member of one of the boards on which McCain sat which made one of these donations. I understand negative attacks are part of campaigning nowadays, but usually the candidate is bright enough to shy away from those particular attacks which can be traced back to himself. The truly sad part about this is I still believe McCain is a great man and is just a victim of his own campaign machine. Palin was a horrible choice for VP and is proving to be uncontrollable. If McCain loses, the only person he has to blame is himself for not reigning in his own people and running the type of campaign worthy of his reputation and formerly good name. I'm ashamed to say I'm a republican, and more to the point, after seeing all the extremist behavior from the party, I no longer consider myself one.

I love how the only "whopper" to make page 1 of this article is from McCain. Thanks for the thinly veiled slant, Newsweek.

Can someone just tell me what Obama's magic limit for taxes are? Just wondering because I've hear $250,000, $200,000, $150,000 $120,000 and $100,000 all this week. Please someone just tell me the real number because this seems to be a close your eyes and shoot for a number right now.

      Dear mcdeere72--
Why does someone have to tell you. Go to his Web site and read it for yourself.

Comment: o'bama's plan keeps changing.....what good would reading it do?

Well, I guess you would have to check it out periodically, and having kept up with the pros and cons put forth by experts from both parties, decide whether the adjustment was in the interest of making it a better plan. You know, it's difficult to find 3 economists who agree with each other. It's not surprising that an economic plan would undergo some tweaking. The important thing is that all of this talk about the tax levels changing, etc. could best be investigated by checking out, and making an effort to study the plans themselves. I certainly wouldn't trust anybody else to do that for me.

Re: Comment: Read the plan at www.barackobama.com for yourself instead of depending on other dimwits to give you your answer.

Thank you, Wendydk. I am amazed at the ridiculous lies and half-truths that continue to be repeated by people who obviously aren't interested in doing their basic homework and checking the facts for themselves. Honestly, voting is a privilege that assumes an electorate educated enough on the positions of the candidates to make informed decisions. It's unpatriotic to do less.

All this bickering and name calling in this campaign is not doing anybody any good. If people like you and me do not know by now who to vote for in this election then they should stay home and let those who do know decide. If you are a true American (and I believe most are ) then you should get out and vote for the person you believe in. That's they only way we are going to change the world into what we all hope for, peace and unity.
