"Nowforthetruth" is now selling guilt by association that Obama has PLO buddies referring to Rashid Khalidi. McCain donated $440k to Khalidi.

    See for yourselves at: http://richmonddemocrat.blogspot.com/2008/10/mccain-funded-rashid-khalidi.html

"Nowforthetruth", a little more "truth" about guilt by association....

"Nowforthetruth" also said: "Nins, all you prove is that you have perpetual PMS and cannot read. If you are as careless in your practice, you are a danger to your profession." You reveal too much of yourself "Nowforthetruth".

"Nowforthetruth" continues repasting that the cause of our problem is a law decades old that encourages loans to qualified low income people. "Nowforthetruth" continues to repeat well known deceit.

Alan Greenspan stated recently that the problem was not anything like that. Rather, he stated that an entire financial system was built outside of regulation, and "we trusted" these self-interested looters to regulate themselves. Credit Default Swaps were the result.

Credit Default Swaps increased from $106 trillion in '02 to $531 trillion under the R stewardship. No regulation.

While there are several variations of a viral email that tries to blame a few thousands of political donations to some Ds, the actual, legitimate news has reported that Fannie and Freddie paid many millions to Republican lobbyists to lobby Rs, only, to PREVENT REGULATION.

McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis, received up to $35K/mo. from Fannie and Freddie from 2000 to present, to lobby Rs,only, against regulation. Freddie paid Rick Davis while he has been McC's campaign manager. Freddie donated $250k to the R convention.

These facts are everywhere in the legitimate news: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/22/us/politics/22mccain.html and http://www.newsweek.com/id/164732/page/1 There's much more legitimate news on this.

Trillions were looted from our economy because the Rs allowed it. It is inescapable that the Rs, most prominently McC's campaign manager, were in the pockets of big money while they drove the buss off the cliff with us in it.

You can try to distract people with fears about 'those guys'. Lies, distortion, deception. 'Socialist' is only the last in a long, now desperate, list of labels you have tried to pin on 'that one'. That's all you have left.

Is your most recent reposting here directed to fears about "Socialism", or is it just innuendo, or are we trying to fold in a little racism too?

Since we have no more ideas, let's keep running our campaign on fear, smears and hypocrisy.

Keep talking "Nowforthetruth", you're really helping. You keep demonstrating that we all have to vote against lies and propaganda and attempts to hijack our political process with deceit. Your actions are the kinds of reasons that I'm voting for Obama after 40 years of never having voted for a Dem.

I understand that you wish you could run away from the words of your new love, but you cannot. They were recorded live for all to hear without your spin. You cannot escape them. You cannot deny them.

Hear Obama and Clinton for yourself, in their own words with out the filter of someone elses opinion..

Bill Clinton says Democrats failure to allow Republicans to regulate Freddie and Fannie caused economic melt down.

      so. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsynspIqAoE

Obama in this video, addressing his community activist work and his work representing ACORN in litigation against the banks and relating to the Community Reinvestment Act, and addressing the failure of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae as those actions relate to the destruction of our economy by causing the current real estate and subsequent financial crisis, states that, and I quote:

"Subprime lending started out as a good idea, helping Americans buy homes who previously could not afford to. Financial institutions created new financial instruments that could securitize these loans, slice them into finer and finer risk categories, and spread them out among investors and around the country, as well as around the world. In theory, this should have allowed mortgage lending to be less risky, and more diversified."

Acknowledging the catastrophe, but as apologist for the Democrats, Obama then offers this justification.

"The original idea was a good one, which was, lets see if we can distribute risk more broadly, and make it easier to provide loans to people who otherwise might not be able to get one."

Yah, great idea. Economically unsound, but embraced by Obama. Listen for yourself. You cannot dispute the mans on words recorded live:

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr1M1T2Y314&feature=related
      ???
And here is Obama again, stating

"And I think one of the tragedies of the civil rights movement was that the civil rights movement became so court-focused, I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and organizing activities on the ground that are able to bring about the coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change, and in some ways we still suffer from that,"

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iivL4c_3pck

      2001 Chicago Public Radio Interview.

And here is Obama again in December 2007, promising a role in formulating policy during his transition if elected, despite saying he has no ties to this organization, Acorn

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vJcVgJhNaU

And here is a link to C-SPAN video clips of the Congressional hearings at roughly the time McCains attempt at S.190. to fix Fannie and Freddie. See for yourself who said what.

God bless america? where did this verbal tick come from!? what happend to seperation of church and state? I am by no means religous, but that doesnt mean i dont revere and hold a higher power in my soul. God doesnt bless america thank you, he blesses individuals who have enough sense not to cloud their own judgement with someone else's interpretations of a fantasy tale rewritten through 2,000 plus years. Which is why I cant bring myself to vote for two people who will base every single decision they make on the premise of "God would." Keep in mind... god in the old testamet rained fire and stones upon villages, destroyed good men and women to "prove a point" and flooded the earth for 40 days and nights... so, when the next politican says, "Its what god would do..." think about what YOU would do.

If Johnny Mc. Has thrown all seven sinks at Obama then what makes you think they wont try rigging the voting machines? How do we know the votes will be counted correctly? Who is minding the store at diebold the company that makes and maintains many of these voting machines? It has been proven that the voting machines can be rigged in about 60 seconds with a card that has the information needed to switch votes to another candidate. Check your selection before you leave the booth make sure your vote has not been changed. Make sure no one is left alone with the voting machines. If a program patch is loaded in any machine test it to make sure it functions correctly

Why is being a rich democrat, "limousine liberal" so good for you?

  • Posted By: ariziowa @ 11/02/2008 7:04:49 PM

Just remember, little one - this is not a monarchy. Let's see - oh my democrats have controlled congress for the last 4 years. Pelosi was going to make a big change also.

Is America ready for this year's election results. RIGGED RESULTS I MIGHT ADD I MIGHT ADD! It's payback time for 2000! The biased media, ACORN, the Electorate have already told us that they're gonna shove a democrat down our throats! Why? I'll tell you why!

The elitist (which includes both Dems and Repubs) of this country are demanding a democrat so that the party can do what they do best. Raise taxes!!!

Remember! That???s America???s patriotic duty; to fork out more tax $$$! Right Joe? No! Not "Joe the plummer" ... Joe Biden!

Initially, it will be just the folks making $250k plus. Then you're next! I'm next. We're all next!!! In 1 1/2 to 2 years ... mark my words ... everybody's taxes will go up!

The Dems will give us same old stale line somewhere down the road about how things (the economy) has gotten a lot worse and now as good Americans we all need to sacrifice and open up our pocket books and dish out more & more tax dollars to keep America afloat!

I???ve been on this planet way too long not to know the Dem tricks! oh well... if you're okay with the "redistribution of wealth" theory, then by all means vote 4 the democrat!

I happen to be too old to believe in the idea of "gov. can solve all problems." if anything, they sure know how to screw things up! Corporate welfare (aka bailouts), mortgage & banking collapse, etc.

I say out with the Neocons (aka: NeoConvicts!), down with he elitist Democrooks and in with ...

    THE MAVERICK TEAM! Vote for!

Mc Cain / Palin on Nov. 4!

Come nov. 4 let's all pray for the upset of the century!!! Conservatives, Traditionalist, Realists, Christians, other religions, vote in the man with real (proven) military and political experience!

    GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

Oh Please!!! Demo's are outspending Republicans abote 4 to 1. Gee whiz, idiot, your poor liilte demos are rich as God, and you know it!

    • Posted By: TheVigil @ 11/02/2008 6:49:54 PM

No, we all just really strongly support Obama this time. I've never made a campaign contribution in my life and this year I gave him probably seventy bucks or so. A few other million people did too, some far more than me. And hey - guess what? I actually believe that someone this good at raising money might just be what we need to dig out of this fiscal hole.

Bush's long presidency and eight years of nightmares have *really* galvanized liberals, and now we have a strong candidate to get behind. The Republican Party might reap a bitter harvest from some of its xenophobia and fear and deregulation and poor disaster-respone and the other calamities of Bush's presidency - because there's nothing like eight years of incompetence, a destroyed-and-not-rebuilt major American city, a bad war, and a transfer of wealth from the middle class to the rich to inspire Democrats to reenergize for a generation. I'm 28 - I've never been seriously political before this year. But I've decided to join my local Democratic clubs and try to show as much support as I did during this election for the next twenty years or so. The Republicans may have damaged their brand for decades to come.

I really doubt that "40 year Republican" has ever built a business in his/her life. Just spewing out the pamblum he/she is supposed to say.

    Propaganda anyone?

Some of us built businesses, paid employees, and paid taxes at the highest rate under the Reagan tax structure for well over a decade, and didn't mind or consider those who paid less ignorant, naïve or paying too little.

Naive is to be afraid of the expiration of the Bush tax give away to the rich, and think that is "raising taxes" that will in any way keep business people from creating and building businesses.

It's what, before John McCain fell behind in the election, McC called "irresponsible" because it "benefits only the rich???.

McC now has sold out to the Bush machine that enabled the megarich to loot trillions from our country, while they pay taxes well below what they did under Reagan.

But worse, McC wants to give additional billions of tax give aways to the oil companies, the one's that just reported the biggest quarterly pofits in the history of the world, breaking the then newest record they set the quarter before.

Allowing the Bush tax give away to the rich will only allow that give away to expire.

Only those who make more than $250K AFTER DEDUCTIONS will see their taxes rise back to where they were before the Bush tax give away to the rich.

The McC/Bush propaganda machine has duped anyone who thinks the McC tax position does anything but further enrich the megarich, and think that is to your benefit.

The real threat to us is the Bush/McC propaganda machine that misinforms and scares people into voting to perpetuate the looting of our country by the megarich.

???Country first??? right? Who do you think the lobbyists running McC???s campaign are looking out for?

Llets not forget the Court, with cases like Kelo v. City of New London, 545 U.S. 469 (2005),

What does redistributive mean. Well, remember that it was the liberal Left-Wing Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court that brought us this little jewel, holding that the government could take your real property, like your home, not for public use like a road or school, but to give to another private individual, such as a political contributor or other party hack or interest group.

Kelo v. City of New London, 545 U.S. 469 (2005), was a case decided by the Supreme Court of the United States involving the use of eminent domain to transfer land from one private owner to another to further economic development. The case arose from the condemnation by New London, Connecticut, of privately owned real property so that it could be used as part of a comprehensive redevelopment plan. The Court held in a 5-4 decision that the general benefits a community enjoyed from economic growth qualified such redevelopment plans as a permissible "public use" under the Takings Clause of the Fifth Amendment. Justice John Paul Stevens wrote the majority opinion; he was joined by Justices Anthony Kennedy, David Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer

The decision was widely criticized by American politicians and the general public. Many members of the general public viewed the outcome as a gross violation of property rights and as a misinterpretation of the Fifth Amendment, the consequence of which would be to benefit large corporations at the expense of individual homeowners and local communities. Some in the legal profession construe the public's outrage as being directed not at the interpretation of legal principles involved in the case, but at the broad moral principles of the general outcome.

This country has made progress when it comes to race relations, however it has not been enough, just the mere fact that there are discussions as to whether soem would vote for a black men only reinforce the belief that our claim that we are the greatest country in the world and we lead by examples seems to aplly only militarily and we seem to be willing to do more for other countries than for our own. A perfect example is New Orleans and when you think that as soon as parts of india was hit with sumani, we were fighting their own goverment to allow us to deliver them the necessary help and yet we watched our own citizens die in our country. When the rest of the world is watching that is what they see, race will always be an issue and we will never be the country we claim to be as long as we believe that one person's life is worth more than another. The same is happening in this election, the world is watching, everyone of you outhere knows that the only reason that Obama is not up 20 points in the polls is because as a blackman, he must be 100 times better than any white man to be considered equal and I am a white guy! As a white person, i have heard the comments made by my friends, my superiors and most of you have heard them too. if you slash us in the same body part, we all bleed the same, we go to war together and die together and yet we cannot be treated the same. One of my friends always say if you want to know if you are a racist in one aspect; ask yourself this question, would you object to your daughter marrying a black man? Blacks can ask themselves the same question. When you hear people accusing Obama of being a muslim as if it is a disgrace, you can clearly tell where a good portion of the country is in relation to race! We have extremes in every religion, catholics, jews, protestants, christians, yes this country was attacked by muslim extremists, does that mean that every muslim is guilty for evil things done by some? Apparently to some the answer is yes. This country is a melting pot of the world and we must not judge people by the color of their skin or the language that they speak.

Obama's Links To Radicals Starting To Surface!! www.newsmax.com/timmer

Obama-Farrakhan Ties Are Close, Ex-Farrakhan Aide Says

A former top deputy to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan tells Newsmax that Barack Obama???s ties to the black nationalist movement in Chicago run deep, and that for many years the two men have had ???an open line between them??? to discuss policy and strategy, either directly or through intermediaries.

???Remember that for years, if you were a politician in Chicago, you had to have some type of relationship with Louis Farrakhan. You had to. If you didn???t, you would be ostracized out of black Chicago,??? said Dr. Vibert White Jr., who spent most of his adult life as a member and ultimately top officer of the Nation of Islam.
White broke with the group in 1995 and is now a professor of African-American history at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
White said Obama was ???part of the Chicago scene??? where Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. and radicals would go to each other???s events and support each other???s causes.
???Even though Chicago is the third-largest city in the country, within the black community, the political and militant nationalist community is very small. So it wouldn???t be uncommon for [Obama and Farrakhan] to show up at events together, or at least be there and communicate with each other,??? White told Newsmax.
The Anti-Defamation League has denounced Farrakhan and his Nation of Islam as a ???hate group.???
Farrakhan has called Jews ???bloodsuckers,??? ???satanic??? and accused them of running the slave trade. He has labeled gays as ???degenerates.??? In a 2006 speech, the ADL again condemned Farrakhan when he said: ???These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood that is seeding the American people and the people of the world and bringing you down in moral strength. ??? It's the wicked Jews the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality. It's wicked Jews, false Jews that make it a crime for you to preach the word of God, then they call you homophobic!"

You mean the subjugation of the majority of this country? You expound on the direction that Blacks have come but you neglect to bring up the sacrifices imposed upon the rest of the population. Your passing Barack Obama as the "Mesiah" who has not accomplished anything meaningful in public life except to set himself up to be The First Black President. I have heard so many things about the "Unsavory" associations Barack has made. There are so many that I have come to the horrible conclusion that "If you put lipstick on a Pig, it"s still a scarry Pig." You are trying to justify the greatest hijacking of the American Sence of Purpose an vallues that made this country great. Shame on you.
