The most troubling to me is not the accusations of terrorist friends and other undesirables of Obama, but the ARROGANCE of the man to feel he DOES NOT HAVE TO DISPUTE them. Any candidate running for the Presidency should be open enough to at least address accusation which does not go away.
But he is arrogant enough to believe he is above reproach.
I don't like that about this man. It is a continuing pattern of heartfelt self-deserving indulgence.

Since Day 1 of his campaign for President of the United States, Senator Obama has worked to unite a nation divided by Red and Blue and racial undertones, by getting the American people to look at themselves, recognize that we all share the same problems, and see that our nation is only as strong as it's weakest link. The events of Sept. 11th, Hurricane Katrina, the War in Iraq, the mortgage crisis, the immigration crisis, the health insurance crisis, and the current economic meltdown affects ALL of us as a nation no matter what socioeconomic background you come from, though the majority of those struggling are America's middle-class families. Senator Obama's core belief of building a stronger America by getting Americans to focus on our shared goals, rather than our innate differences is not some monumental discovery, but a belief that somehow became a lost priority in government. Similar to Lincoln and Jackson, Obama is a man who in order "to see him fully is to see ourselves more honestly". It's hard to beleive that after 212 years our great nation is still hindered by those very characteristics that our Constitution tells us we should respect in each and every one of us. In OUR previous administration after the previous administrations FIRST term and BEFORE their second term the Usa sent our law enforcement to Yeman to arrest Osama bin laden. The Yeman ambassador promptly got into a 'turf battle" with USA law enforcement to claim the USA LAW ENFORCEMENT was "infringing" on YEMAN ambassadors "turf".

So what happened OUR USA LAW ENFORCEMENTS WERE TOLD by OUR USA PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION--to go home empty handed. Our previous Administration didn't know at the time their irresponsible actions had paved the way for terriorist to make plans and lay groundwork for 911.

The Wall Street journal at that time printed a small article on it and to the recent it has been discussed but apparantly NOT ENOUGH.

Some of us built businesses, paid employees, and paid taxes at the highest rate under the Reagan tax structure for well over a decade, and didn't mind or consider those who paid less ignorant, naïve or paying too little.

McC now has sold out to the Bush machine that enabled the megarich to loot trillions from our country, while they pay taxes well below what they did under Reagan.

But worse, McC wants to give additional billions of tax give aways to the oil companies, the one's that just reported the biggest quarterly pofits in the history of the world, breaking the then newest record they set the quarter before.

Allowing the Bush tax give away to the rich will only allow that give away to expire.

Only those who make more than $250K AFTER DEDUCTIONS will see their taxes rise back to where they were before the Bush tax give away to the rich.

The McC/Bush propaganda machine has duped anyone who thinks the McC tax position does anything but further enrich the megarich, and think that is to your benefit.

Sarah takes all the money she can from federal tax earmarks, hires a lobbyist to get more, and repeatedly tells the electorate that she told Congress "no thanks" on The Bridge To Nowhere, but in fact she took the federal tax funds that were earmarked for it.

She wasn't distributing federal tax funds, 'cause she put THOSE FEDERAL TAX FUNDS into a DIFFERENT POCKET from the pocket from the funds she distributed to Alaskans.

I bet those federal tax funds she didn't REDISTRIBUTE are actually different dollars than the ones I paid for federal taxes.

A lot of the money she distributed came from her raising taxes on the oil companies. The oil companies had to recoup those higher taxes through higher gas prices. I'm also certain that none of the dollars I spent for higher gas prices, were included in the dollars Sarah redistributed to Alaskans.

And since she gave those dollars to all Alaskans, it's not true that she took money from some and gave it to others.

I see. That's really, really, really different, now that I understand. According to "Nowforthetruth" that's not REDISTRIBUTION, that's capitalism.
