Vote John McCain!!!!! Pennsylvanians vote John McCain!!!!!

Pennsylvania voters are not stupid and can understand that Barack Obama and the liberal Democrats are at heart environmental nuts and that there will be no new nuclear development under Barack. The first civil nuclear plant was in Shippensport Pa built by Westinghouse. McCain will create many new jobs and business for Westinghouse in Pittsburgh and General Electric based in New York with his forty-five new nuclear plants. These are real jobs not pipe dreams and study projects that Barack is so fond of with his goof ball schemes.

Why is there such an ingrained irrational fear about nuclear energy and waste disposal among some Americans especially the Democratic leadership. Importantly also why is somehow okay for hundreds of thousands of Navy sailors to have served for nearly forty years aboard nuclear power American aircraft carriers and nuclear powered submarines and air force personnel to handle nuclear bombs but some Americans will not consider to even remotely assume any risks involved with nuclear power. Is it okay for our servicemen to be exposed to alleged risks but not the Democratic leadership who oppose nuclear power. This fear is particular evident with the Democrats acceptance of risks that are associated with other aspects of modern American living. Forty thousand people die every year in the United States in auto accidents but there is no outcry to ban all automobiles in the United States. There have been repeated rail and ship accidents but no outcry to ban railroads or ship travel. The irrational fear involving nuclear power and waste disposal has no justification. American people undergo multiple medical and dental xrays and CT scans yearly and have no fear. Interventional and therapeutic radiology is breaking new boundaries including treating cancers. TSA airport screeners and medical staff work daily around xray equipment, fluoroscopes, and CT machines and do not experience adverse health consequences as a result of their work exposure. There were no documented adverse health events associated with the Three Mile Island release of minor radiation in the 1970s and no payments for health losses were ever made involving lawsuits related to that accident. The containment vessel held at Three Mile Island. In light of most Americans acceptance of risks associated with automobiles, trains, planes, and ships, the fear on the part of some Americans of nuclear power can not be viewed as rational. John McCain's proposals to build 45 new nuclear power plants along with his other energy proposals on conservation and renewable energy will help America achieve relative energy independence in the near term and long term.
Pennsylvanians vote McCain. Pennsylvanians vote McCain.

Vote John McCain!!!!! Vote John McCain!!!!!

Senator John McCain picked Governor Sarah Palin because he intends to follow through and make his Project Lexington for United States energy independence the dominant issue in this campaign. Governor Sarah Palin is a strong supporter of increased offshore drilling and she knows that Alaska has an offshore coastline greater than the rest of the country combined and is also comes in second among the states in oil production. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and John McCain understand that Obama and the Democrats would never consider government loan guarantees or tax breaks for a sure thing that will produce energy for the American gas tank. In fact Democrats are trying to put together a so-called windfall profits tax which will have the effect of discouraging future investment in the United States oil industry. John McCain also knows that Governor Sarah Palin family situation also illustrates that longterm Democratic leadership hostility and policies toward United States owned energy companies have caused our current energy crisis. Her husband works for British Petroleum but instead should be working for the former American owned Arco Oil Company. Arco Oil Company developed and explored the Alaska North Slope and formerly owned eighty percent of our proven Alaskan reserves. With its substantial oil reserves Arco Oil Company should have bought British Petroleum instead of British Petroleum buying out Arco Oil Company during the second Bill Clinton administration. With the right business environment and support from both political parties in the United States, Arco Oil Company might have been more successful and been able to buy out British Petroleum instead of British Petroleum buying out Arco Oil Company. Look at Apple Computer and Microsoft. Their success in the computer world have made them bullet proof to corporate takeovers. Longterm Democratic hostility and opposition to offshore drilling and periodic talk of windfall profits taxes contributed to the takeover of Arco Oil Company.

Vote John McCain!!!!! Pennsylvanians vote John McCain!!!!!

Bush bashing is a fad. Much like saggy pants. It is interesting that the majority of hip hop artist, MTV DJ's, young movie stars, pop artists, gay, lesbian, aging hippies from the 60's and the like are in support of Obama. I think democracy is nothing more than mob rule. 51% controls the 49%. Ill bet if we looked at the majority of Obama supporters we would see a serious pattern and I am thankful I do not fall into that pattern. Id rather be part of the 49% and stand for the same principles as my grandfather than his 7 children who grew up in the 60's,and now support Obama, while they smoke pot, except unemployment, complain about there old jobs, get re married and have liver transplants because of drug use.

I am voting McCain and I will do it during my much hour thank you.

  • Posted By: mccainsupporter @ 11/02/2008 11:34:06 PM

Is Barack Obama blowing smoke or not? Is Barack Obama a chain smoker or not? If he is only a closet smoker and not transparent by smoking in public and admitting that he has a nicotine addiction then how can we trust him on other issues that are truly grave? Does he smoke a lot of cigarettes only when he plays poker with his friends or is it a daily habit? How can we trust him on health care if he is a smoker. Would not someone who really wants to hold down healthcare costs want to quit smoking.

We want to know if Barack Obama is going to promise to not chain smoke around Joe Biden because Joe Biden had asthma as a teenager. The reason that Joe Biden could not fight for his country in 1968 during the peak of the Vietnam War was that he had teenage asthma.

Joe Biden had horribly bad luck, ninety percent of all children are diagnosed with asthma before age six but Joe Biden was unlucky enough to be in the ten percent group of children who acquire asthma after age six and became asthmatic when he was a teenager. After five student deferments while he attended college and law school, his teenage asthma finally came to the attention of his local Selective Service Board and he missed the opportunity to serve his country during time of war as an officer. But for his bad luck with his teenage asthma diagnosis, Joe Biden could have gone in and served his country honorably as a officer and a gentleman and perhaps as a Judge Advocate Law Officer similar to his son. We hope that Barack Obama will not smoke in front of Joe Biden because the smoke could aggravate Joe???s asthma that prevented him from serving his country during time of war.

Barack Obama???s tax plans similarly focus on the politics of envy. He is so focused and determined that the oil companies do not make one penny too much in profit that Barack Obama dces not care if all of the Southeast periodically experiences gas shortages with closed gas stations and empty gas pumps. The oil companies did not make any profits when there was no gas to sell so Barack Obama must have been jumping with joy. Refinery capacity in the United States has been stretched to its limits for decades. The oil companies would have to be crazy to invest another penny in new refineries or production capacity or even do basic repairs in the United States in light of Barck Obama???s policies to tax what he deems are excess profits and his proposed mandates on alternative energy. Barack Obama???s proposals to raise taxes only on the top five percent of Americans are ridiculous and only pander to the politics of envy. Our economy has been propped up for years by people from around the world investing in the United States. Foreign investors in United States companies also are subject to United States taxes. All of these investors are in the top five percent making more than two hundred and fifty thousand a year and they will be subject to higher taxes. Do you think that foreign investors will continue to make direct investments in the United States when they can go anywhere in the world? Barack Obama will do for the United States what North Korean President Kim has done for North Korea and that is drive all foreign investors out of the country. That is a great idea to help our economy and drive all foreign investors out. Americans can also chose where they invest and they do not have to invest in the United States if taxes become exorbitant.

Clinton DID cause 911. He had the information and knew exactly who Al Queda and Osama Bin Lladen wereand chose to do nothing about it. He was too busy in other indulgencies to take action

kt shops---Colin Powell had no choice, he had to support Mr. Obama, He would have been crucified by the Black Community had he not supported him. He's just protecting himself.

    • Posted By: justchuck @ 11/02/2008 8:10:59 PM

Oh please, Colin Powell is afraid of the "black community" ? LOL

I said for "whatever reason" because I didnt want to say what you had the brass ones to call out...YES I'm AGREEING with you. I guess I was trying to be politically correct but what's the point in this forum! LOL

Yes. It is a well known fact that the General is a longtime resident of Compton. On the night before he endorsed Obama, Suge Knight came to his home with a bat and told him that he would back Obama or else.

    • Posted By: elizabethpaige @ 11/02/2008 10:59:29 PM

Sen. Obama is just as white as he is black.

    • Posted By: ac2fl @ 11/02/2008 9:42:23 PM

I'm very disappointed in Mr. Powell. I wanted him to run for President a long time ago but I know he was afraid to for "whatever reasons" but I would have voted for him back in the 90's hands down. Now I'm disappointed in him once again...what is his rational in endorsing a person for the Presidency of the USA who cant even get clearance for an FBI or CIA postion? I've yet to get an intelligent rebuke to that question

  • Posted By: r_lecuyer @ 11/02/2008 10:56:59 PM

http://www.chimpout.com/forum ~ This is the most disgusting website I've ever seen. What year is this? I am appalled at the fact that this type of intolerance and ignorance is still propagated and encouraged anywhere in this world and deeply saddened to see the number of ---aphobs within our nation which allows us the rights to higher education if only we choose to pursue it for ourselves. I guess its easier and more entertaining for some to get all hyped up within their social circles and sling around complete and utter b*%$lsh*t than it is to walk a path of decency and grace in the eyes of God, Budha, or whatever your higher power is called. That website has nothing to do with political reality whatsoever which is what I assumed the topic of discussion was at hand.

Furthermore, I'm not on here to get into some petty mud slinging with some ultra opinionated character... I believe several of these comments - from both sides of the argument - are worth some thought and further exploration but that's truly what should be happening... Don't sit in front of CNN, MSNBC, FOX or any other television broadcast and accept anything this serious for face value. If you truly care enough to know what's real pick up a few books... go read the actual bills that were brought before the senate from start to finish - take in as much info as possible from all sides of the coins and then figure out where you fit in... Don't you think you owe it to yourselves to be "in the know" on the side of factual evidence rather than caught in the political hoopla and games?

Sorry this is starting to come off preachy to some of you, I'm sure... just surprised and saddened to see so many irrelevant, irresponsible and immature jabs flying around here.

Wishing you all a peaceful nights sleep : )

When he lied about why we attacked Iraq, he lost all credibility. And we have not won the war, we have not found Osama Bin Laden, we have a poor economy, and you people still want to sing his praises? I think you must truly be deluded. History will not be kind to Bush 1 or Bush 2! God help us if Jeb-boy decides to run.

So when Bush makes an attempt to go after the infadel he's chastised??? Billy Bob knew where Osama was too ...what DID he do about it while he was "smoking" cigars??? NO ONE mentions 1993 WTC bombing nor do they mention when HE bombed Iraq for all of about a day during the Lewinsky scandal. Why is it Democrats can talk out of both sides of their teeth and never get called out on the carpet for it but the Republican president gets ambused? AND WHERE ARE THOSE LA TIMES tapes of Mr. Barack Obama Osama lover hiding at????

Obama has his own agenda. Did you see the book he was holding in a recent photo? Titled "A Post American World." I certainly grasp the meaning, do you? He's frightening and I would vote for Bush a third time before I would put a Hussein in as President. You say educated? I say brainwashed. Think for yourself.

  • Posted By: CAHeider @ 11/02/2008 4:49:40 PM

Schlitz, Do you or anyone else remember who started dealing with Saddam Hussein, before the U.S. labeled him as a monster? George Sr. and Ronnie R were playing footsie with him. We will never know for sure what was really happening in Iraq, but there were no weapons of mass destruction and no matter what was going on over there, we had no business invading. Now more people are dead than the ones he allegedly killed, including US servicemen, and I have to ask if those people are any better off after Bush?

And to the people blaming Nancy Pelosi and Congress, well they have only been in charge for 2 years. Bush and the Republicans have had the previous 6, which haven't been too great. Bush and the Republicans have tarnished America's reputation with the rest of the world with their "Maverick" shoot em up swagger.

    • Posted By: Macca1 @ 11/02/2008 4:58:29 PM

Presiden Reagan "played footsie" as you so eloquently put it with Saddam because at the time he was the lesser of the 2 evils. Hussein was at war with Iran and if you recall they were holding our hostages. And research how the economy was doing BEFORE Pelosi, Reid and Frank took majority.

      • Posted By: elizabethpaige @ 11/02/2008 10:46:13 PM

For those who may not remember, the Canadian Embassy spirited six Americans out of Iran as 'Canadian' diplomats carrying Canadian passports. Ken Taylor, the Canadian Ambassador to Iran at the time, was brave and smart, and pulled it off with typical Canadian modesty.

Canada is the No. 1 exporter of crude oil to the USA., Thanks to NAFTA, Canadians pay even more for their gasoline at the pump than Americans pay. No gouging allowed.

Canada is a good neighbor and friend to the USA. Canada operates a free market economy, yet has run a fair, accessible health care system for decades.

Canadians vote within weeks of an election being called. When they get to the polls they vote within minutes, not hours. No 'hanging chads' or 'faulty' voting machines or lack of paper ballots undermine their democratic right to vote.

Canadians want peace, order and good government. Canadian banks are well-funded. Fly-by-night financial institutions are not allowed to operate in Canada.

Canadians along with the rest of the Free World overwhelmingly favor Sen. Obama to be the next American president. No wonder.

Other than your obvious distaste for Bush enforcing 17 resolutions in a 12 year period culminating in the ousting of colossal third world idiot Saddam Hussein, what might you be talking about? Surely not the economic mess were in.... before you blame Bush, ask Barney Frank and Chris Dodd about their part in stopping Bush and McCain legislation that they proposed to reign in Fan/Fred to avert the financial mess we're in. Don't even think about blaming this all on the reps... your Fat Boy dems have their stinking finger prints all over it.... Grow up and stop looking for a scapegoat.

Dear Chuck, If it had been the democrats war, it would be different. However, since its a republican president, the democrats would rather we lose the war, maybe have a few more attacks on America. It doesn't matter that the President's name is George Bush, or that the republican candidate is John McCain and his running mate is Sara Pailin. Whoever puts on the republican mantle is going to be slimed, investigated, ruined if possible. The Biased main stream media will back their play with glee.Democrats want the populace to be slaves to the government. it is their SOP.

    • Posted By: JoBangles @ 11/02/2008 7:54:48 PM

I keep hearing from you Bushites how Junior has kept America "safe" for the past eight years. Yet you don't bother to ell us HOW he has kept us "safe".
Perhaps you could explain how he has done so. I guess his illegal and premeditated war against two poor muslim countries, and wasting many thousands of lives has made us "safe".

Has it ever entered your widdle minds that GWB has created 19 times as many enemies as he has "protected" us from? Jesus said it best two thousand years ago, "There are none so blind as those who refuse to see". I realize it's hard to accept the fact that this has been the most destructive administration in our history. But again, you can lead a republican to the truth, but you can;t make him accept it. Probably the best thing for the GOPers is to go into hibernation for the next twenty years. It will take that long (if not longer) to recover from the insanity of the conservative's misgovernence.

And I am sure that there are a lot of you "Peters" out there that at the first sign of trouble or persecution you denied knowing him, you even cust him saying I never voted for the man!! But I for one am not ashamed to have voted for him, the list of hardships he faced are more than the last five Presidents faced combined.
