As far as Israel is concerned, the story has been greatly distorted against the Israelis. The media, who are very left of center, paint a picture of Israel as the aggressors. Even in this story the reporter slants it. The Israelis have been accused of all sorts of war crimes. Evidence of these war crimes is flimsy at best. They are often stories from Hamas and Hizbollah operatives, and have not been independently verified, just reported as is. Now the words of acknowledged terrorists are taken as truth. What? Yet, the crimes that are committed against the Israelis are not reported, and if it is reported than it is slanted to show the Israelis provoked the attack. By the way, have you noticed that the Islamists have taken to using the nazi salute. Why is that? Are they trying to emulate someone? The Israelis must always turn the other cheek and show restraint, yet when the Arabs feel threatened, not even attacked, there are screams of retaliation, protests, kidnappings, killings and beheadings. This isn't about returning the land that Israel seized during engagements with Arab aggressors. Land for peace will not work. It goes much deeper.

Look at what happened to poor Theo Van Gogh in Amsterdam. He was shot him eight times with a handgun, and Van Gogh died on the spot. The Islamist assassin Bouyeri then cut Van Gogh's throat, nearly decapitating him, and stabbed him in the chest. Two knives were left implanted in his torso, one attaching a five-page note to his body. The note threatened Western governments and Jews. Van Gogh was killed because of a film the Muslims found offensive. The film was about the oppression of women by men in Islam. Where is the outrage from the feminists and other activists? Why is nothing said in the West when a 13yr old girl is stoned to death in Somalia. She had been raped and when she reported it to authorities, the attackers claimed she was guilty of adultery. She was tried by a kangaroo court and sentenced to death. And you think the Israelis are the aggressors? Van Gogh wasn't an Israeli. He was a Dutch citizen, killed by a immigrant over a movie. Let that sink in for a while. There are screams for special protection for Islam or else there will be retaliation, yet where are the the screams of retaliation from the Christians and Jews when they are threatened. How about the Christians being displaced from their homes in Iraq and other Arab countries. Why isn't there any Christian churches in Saudi Arabia? Because it is outlawed. Read the Koran, the hadiths and the sunnah and see and learn for yourself who is more intolerent of other cultures. Hint: it is not the Christians or Jews.

Obama begin with ACORN by funneling millions into their organization. He then trained ACORN to stage protests in banks to force them to issue risky loans or they would be threatened to face racial charges. ACORN was trained to intimidate financial institutions into giving ???Ninja??? loans to people with NO assets, NO job and NO income, who couldn???t afford these loans.

That caused the housing bubble two years ago it was by ACORN's actions they were able to destroy our credit system.

As this played out, D-Barney Frank and D-Chris Dodd were able to cover up the millions of improvident loans to these bad risky house buyers. And Barney Frank and his chums successfully were able to block all of President Bush's attempts to put a rein on this problem.

So Fannie & Freddie was forced to purchase all these failed subprime mortgages.

Then both Frank and Dodd denied that there were any problems, and refused the Bush Admin. requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the 'minute they failed'.

Democrats then blamed Bush saying it happened on his watch knowing it would hurt the Republican Party in the election setting it up that Barack Obama could use this to his advantage.

The truth is simple, it's time the people of the entire world wake up and look at the issues, I read what Quagmire is saying. Israel does not want to take responsibility for it's actions. Every body else in the world must agree with Israel, why?. Do you think the rest of the world does not have a right to make up their own minds on what they they think, why?, What makes you think two wrongs make a right?. My opinion is simple, I think and I believe that Israel is in the wrong. It's time for peace, and I also think America should but out of backing one side against another. If anybody tried to do what Israel is doing to the Palestinians in America, do you think the Americans would put up with it?.

I saw a Palestinian Farmer who went to pick his crops beaten up by Israeli Armed forces these people were defenceless old people. I also heard about a woman who was at a check point trying to get to the hospital who died in child birth at your check point. Do you think Israeli Policies against the Palestinians is any difference to what Hitler did in Germany, what is going on has been going on since 1948 - we are in 2008 not even the Nazi war WAR lasted that long.

When Jewish people were trying to flee the Nazis, they had a struggle and people helped them, so don't you think you should show good will and behave better, and support peace. The world want you to have peace, but you have to remember there are other people in the world except your selves. Israelis are very defensive when people are critical, because what you are doing is wrong.

Why did Israel invade the Lebanon, it was stupid. Israel is creating Terrorist by their own actions, would you like someone to come to your country and do that?. If not don't do it to anybody else. Israel has so much influwence in America, that the whole country is being torn down, because America keeps fighting Arabs to support Israel's interest instead of her own, people being dragged off to war, fighting over rubbish, like false information that Iraq had WMD which was a lie, the same as trying to get America to attack Iran using the same nonsence, when is people going to wake up. Britain did its bit gave them a land to live in, live there and leave other people alone, it's not that difficult, and stop stiring up trouble in the world.

The conservative talk show radio has so clouded the minds of people that people actually believe comments like the one posted by ExpatVet. It's based on fear. If you can get people to fear something you don't wan't, then you have control. Conservatives have stil not realized that their control of the country is over! It's not just the status quo any more. I look forward to the day when one person cannot force their opinion of what to believe in and how to live! At least, with Barack Obama, there is at least a glimmer of hope! May God keep him safe during his presidency!
