Concerned Canadian--stay in Canada. I think we were duped 8 years ago and appallingly we let ourselves be duped again. I voted for Bush 8 years ago, but not the last time. When McCain decided to do all he could to become the next president in this, probably his last chance, he lined himself up right behind Bush, until pretty recently, and now wants us all to know he is not Bush. Who are his advisors and who will they be? Looks like Bush's advisors who got us right where we are now. I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I AM American, and I want true representation as an American (no matter what my religious beliefs or color). AND before you make any assumptions I am WHITE and Christian. Only GOD judges me -- and that is what my Bible tells ME. My Bible also tells me not to judge others. So as any of you decide to JUDGE me, than you must not be true Christians.

The problem with Obama is a simple one. One association does not a radical make. But in Obama's case, the list of left-wing radical mentors and associates is seemingly endless, (Davis, Ayers, Wright, Khalidi , etc., etc.) with a new revelation practically every day. With that trend, a picture begins to emerge, and that picture is that Obama is as steeped, not in just left-wing political thought, but in radical left-wing economic and race ideology, to the same extent that Pat Robertson was steeped in the ideology of the radical Religious Right. I would not have voted for Pat Robertson for dog catcher, and for similar reasons, I will not vote for Obama.

Good that Obama is meeting with a neocon, rather than just dismissing him as a nutjob. I wonder, however; with all that we've done for Israel, what are we getting in return? If the USA were directly attacked by another country, would Israel be first in line to help us out?

Comment: Interesting that you bring up Bill Cosby's comments. Obama is articulate, has only been marriied once, is raising his two daughters responsibly. He went to school and was able through student loans graduate college. Was president of Harvard's Law Review. It seems that he has met all of the criteria for being a positive role model but now you call him a fraud. It seems in your case black people are damned if we do and damned if we don't. In the old South it wasn't the shuffling buffoon that was lynched, it was the intellectual black. That's the one that strikes fear in you and your kind.
