A role model should not have to resemble you physically to be an inspiration. Although Ms. Obama has accomplished much in her short life, many others before have excelled in breaking down real barriers without the assistance of a charismatic and powerful spouse. Research groundbreaking women and you'll find all ethnicities are represented - and take your inspiration from the fact that so many before you have done so much to pave the way for the greater good. Close your eyes to color and open your mind to character and benefit from ALL of their experiences.

The Wall Street crisis was planned the night of Obama's meeting at Bill Ayres home to put Obama in The White House. Together they put a beautiful plan into place.

This Strategy was first elucidated in the 1966 issue of 'The Nation' Magazine by a pair of radical Socialist Columbia University professors, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven.

    David Horowitz summarizes it as:

"The strategy of forcing political change through an orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of Capitalism by overloading the Government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.
    unquote

Obama begin with ACORN by funneling millions into their organization. He then trained ACORN to stage protests in banks to force them to issue risky loans or they would be threatened to face racial charges. ACORN was trained to intimidate financial institutions into giving ???Ninja??? loans to people with NO assets, NO job and NO income, who couldn???t afford these loans.

That caused the housing bubble two years ago it was by ACORN's actions they were able to destroy our credit system.

As this played out, D-Barney Frank and D-Chris Dodd were able to cover up the millions of improvident loans to these bad risky house buyers. And Barney Frank and his chums successfully were able to block all of President Bush's attempts to put a rein on this problem.

So Fannie & Freddie was forced to purchase all these failed subprime mortgages.

Then both Frank and Dodd denied that there were any problems, and refused the Bush Admin. requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the 'minute they failed'.

Democrats then blamed Bush saying it happened on his watch knowing it would hurt the Republican Party in the election setting it up that Barack Obama could use this to his advantage.

Karl Marx once compared a Revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface.

Barack Obama is that Marxist mole !

ACORN is yesterday. What do you have for us today?

      • Posted By: MeLizzard2 @ 11/03/2008 9:00:19 AM

ACORN is ongoing. They mean if they can't win it, by damn, they'll steal it! they need their federal funding pulled, too. I mean, here's an alleged nonpartisan organization making "don't forget to go vote for Obama" videos, and calling Republicans to tell them that they can vote by phone! Dishonest trash.

I agree that Michelle Obama would be a great role model, not just for African-American women, but for us Caucasian women as well and for all other minorities in this country. As a country we sincerely need to be color-blinded. We would be so much more effective. We need to hold people accountable for their actions or lack thereof, not for their race.

  • Posted By: butterfli beauty @ 11/03/2008 8:54:50 AM

I agree with the journalist that wrote this column, I also feel that we should be able to operate as one America!!!. What I find interesting is how white people comment that they want blacks to take care of their children and not be on welfare, this just shows how racist and stereotypical some whites are, whether it be because of the media or a white persons lack of knowledge about the black community. Most of us do work and take care of our children and are not single mothers but married. There are a few just like there are a few white women who are on welfare and continue to have child after child, but we as blacks don't view them as white people who don't want to take care of their children do we? No we don't most of us feel that certain circumstances place us were we are and while we don't agree on continued support we feel that everyone needs a hand at one point or another because we know waht a struggle is. I think it is extremely unfair for you to view as in this manner. Things are five times harder for us as Black Americans and this is true no matter what way you look at it but we are still making it regardless of what you see and what the media reports that is a small fraction of who we are.. While I do feel that Michelle will be a great role model for all women black, white, brown, young and old I don't think that you as white people should be mad that we take pride in her being Black. This is something that we have never had the chance to see, and when you think about anyother Black person that has made a contribution to allow us the freedoms that you and your ancestors have had all your lives you will find that they were murder for fighting the causes that have placed Michelle and Barack were they stand today. So I ask white people to try to get to know REAL black people, I know you work with us? You will find that we have the same issues as you. This is not to all the white women and men who understand were i am coming from I know you are out there because I know a few of you.

regarding Cindy McCain---didn't she steal another woman's husband away from her. They had three children together I think (Carol McCain). She built her family life on somebody else's tragedy. She was born into privilege---is gorgeous and basically just got anything she wanted (including someone else's husband) and how does she deal with all that...she became a drug addict. Michelle, like her husband, is someone you can admire...not like the McCains.

  • Posted By: jsed @ 11/02/2008 8:51:30 PM

Where's a fair and balanced article on Cindy McCain as First lady?

    • Posted By: summer4077 @ 11/03/2008 8:45:18 AM

There was a cover story on Cindy about 2 months ago or so.

  • Posted By: Morgan2008 @ 11/03/2008 4:00:54 AM

Here's hoping she doesn't get the chance to teach us anything. Many of us already remember Michelle Obama said she had never been proud of her country until Barack Obama became a presidential candidate. Considering the benefits Michelle Obama received from this country that is quite an ungrateful remark which would make me not value her opinions. NOBAMA!!!!! and NO MICHELLE !!!!!!

    • Posted By: summer4077 @ 11/03/2008 8:37:35 AM

Ok, I know I'm taking the bait with this one but Michelle's comment was, "People in this country are ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics and ... for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback." I'm a white woman in my 20s and I completely agree with her. I love this country, but I have not always been proud of it--especially recently. We have many dark moments in our history, and in our present, that need to be addressed before I can say I'm truly proud of this country. I can't be proud of a country that has allowed the rules of torture to be bent, that doesn't provide basic healthcare for its citizens, that allows CEOs to run companies into the ground on the backs of the middle class, that still sees race as a disqualifying factor for presidential candidates, etc. But I do agree that hope has been growing with Obama so close to the White House...the buzz around the country is wonderful; hopefully we can all be truly proud of our country under Obama's leadership.

Yes, why be devided. one America, but the blacks still want Miss Black America even with blacks ub the Miss America contest. We need the blacks to take charge of there own lives and join in on earning not welfare which I am afraid Obama is just wanting all of us poor folks black and white to go on or stay on wlefare. We want independence from all that. Give us a good job, have one America Michelle Obama seems to want to do just for the black women not all women !!

  • Posted By: mwn08 @ 11/03/2008 8:28:05 AM

black america, white america, what happend to one america...?one united states of america. why cant michelle be a role model to all women, or all americans, or everyone with a will to succeed?
no, its all about black america. i bet mrs obama doesnt wake up every day and look in the mirror and say oh, its monday - time to represent african american women, i bet she looks in the mirror and sees..michelle!

  • Posted By: brunnegd @ 11/02/2008 4:38:03 PM

This is a woman who is more radical than her husband, and you think she is a role model? For Who?

    • Posted By: neos @ 11/02/2008 4:54:35 PM

Compared to Cindy McCain, drug addict and adulterer, yes.

      • Posted By: nyborn @ 11/02/2008 10:49:51 PM

NEOS shall we start here? Obama admits to doing cocaine in his book but nothing wrong with that right?

So did Bush and he got reelected.

I don't think I ever heard Cindy say that she "hated America" or was she was "proud of America for the first time". I have always loved America and have Always been proud of her. Not necessarily who runs her but proud to be AN AMERICAN.

  • Posted By: navel @ 11/03/2008 7:13:17 AM

There is something very dark about Michelle, and I'm not talking about her skin. She is hiding something along with hubby Osama, and it's to comprehend how they make be the new residents at the WH. They both electd to follow one of the most anti-American leaders for 20+years, then found anti-American friends and neighbors to do regular business with and corrupt poiticians, I mean come on already, what more do you need. Wake up and smell the chicken before it's too late

    Comment: THE GREAT BUSH DEPRESSION
I follow an economist named Bob Proctor. He has called the top and bottom of every market crash since the 70s correctly.
He perfectly predicted the current meltdown and the picture he paints about what will happen next
is terrifying. He thinks it will be worse then the great depression.
The banks in the U.S. are going under one after the other. Countrywide ,Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch , Fanny and Freddy Mae ,AIG
The government took them over because they are bankrupt. Even with the goverment nationalizing hundreds of billions of dollars in debt the stock market is crashing
the credit markets are frozen and all of us may suffer beyond anything seen in generations
McCain just like Bush " doesn't understand the economy".
That not just my opinion its his own words. Not only does he not understand how to fix it but he does not understand how its been broken.
It is no surprise that he doesn't. The people that make up these securities use quantum mathematical models very few people understand.
Bush and McCain both can take the credit for this mess since they helped deregulate the laws that were protecting us.
Bush's economic advisor Phil Graham wrote the deregulation bill that allowed banks to take huge risks with all of our future.
Now, Phil Graham is the head of McCain's economic policy. He is also McCain's choice for the next secretary of the treasury.
No one in this country can afford for that to happen. The last time Bush met with his economic advisors was in March. He was the last to know somthing was wrong. Phil Graham had the guts to say that we are in a mental recession after he helped create the worst economy meltdown in our lifetime. Check out this link to the truth http://my.barackobama.com/keatingvideo
It will take the best and brightest minds in the world to get us out of this nightmare. As bad as Bush has done, McCain would be
even more destructive because things are in much worse shape. The next president will not inherit a budget surplus like Bush did but a crashing economy and a 11,600,000,000,000 (trillion) dollars deficit. Most of it Bush created and it will take decades to pay it back.
If you do what you have always done then you will get what you have always got.
When it comes to policy Bush and McCain are the same 90 percent of the time.
So why are the polls even close then ?
Mccains team just said they no longer want to talk about the economy.Instead they would like to spend time talking about obama
which means running the biggest smear campaign in history.
They think they can just tell you lies and you wont be smart enough to see through it
Let's teach him we are smarter than that
Stand up and hold them accountable
Bush isn't on the ballot this year but his policies are
    Elect Obama Biden 2008

To: Liberty2u (why don't you use "to") I forgot, you're 12 years old. And an osama & newsweak junkie. Frankly, little girl or boy, I'm looking forward to osama winning. He's going to save the world and all mankind! Isn't that correct?

  • Posted By: Liberty2u @ 11/03/2008 1:19:28 AM

Everyone gets angry once in awhile, that human nature.
I look at the person as a whole, just not the angry part.

You could very well say that about McCain & Palin as well.

So what's your point? Truth will be told

Number of unrepentant terrorist friends with anti-American views for Obama = 57

Number of unrepentant terrorist friends with anti-American views for McCain = 0

The choice is obvious...vote for the patriot and war hero...JOHN MCCAIN !!

    • Posted By: benkrapf @ 11/02/2008 4:41:43 AM

Except for his Georgia lobbyist. How many wars would McCain get us into to pay off his friends? More than Bush?

      • Posted By: Concerned Canadian @ 11/02/2008 4:58:29 AM

Obama will sink the US economy with his Marxist Socialist policies which will leave the USA vulnerable to all sorts of challenges and attacks from its enemies...thats a fact , not scare tactics , if you really love America and want to remain strong I strongly recommend to vote McCain.....I'm always right on these things.

        • Posted By: benkrapf @ 11/03/2008 1:00:38 AM

          How is Obama a Marxist?

Dollar for dollar, Republicans have perpetrated far more damaging socialist agendas.

Michelle should say what she thinks - F America, and F white people. She, osama & rev. wright are in the same camp.

    REPOST:

Is America ready for this year's election results. RIGGED RESULTS I MIGHT! It's payback time for 2000! The biased media, ACORN, the Electorate have already told us that they're gonna shove a Democrat down our throats! Why? I'll tell you why!

The elitist (which includes both Dems and Repubs) of this country are demanding a democrat so that the party can do what they do best---RAISE TAXES!!!

Remember! That's America's patriotic duty; to fork out more tax $$$! Right Joe? No! Not "Joe the plummer" ... Joe Biden!

Initially, it will be just the folks making $250k plus. Then you're next! I'm next. We're all next!!! In 1 1/2 to 2 years ... mark my words ... everybody's taxes will go up!

The Dems will give us same old stale line somewhere down the road about how things (the economy) has gotten a lot worse and now as good Americans we all need to sacrifice and open up our pocket books and dish out more & more tax dollars to keep America afloat!

I've been on this planet way too long not to know the Dem tricks! oh well... if you're okay with the "redistribution of wealth" theory, then by all means vote 4 the democrat!

I happen to be too old to believe in the idea of "Gov. can solve all problems." if anything, they sure know how to screw things up! Corporate welfare (aka bailouts), mortgage & banking collapse, etc.

I say out with the Neocons (aka: NeoConvicts!), down with he elitist Democrooks and in with ...

THE MAVERICK TEAM! Vote for ...

MC CAIN / PALIN ON NOV. 4!

Come Nov. 4 ... LET'S ALL PRAY FOR THE UPSET OF THE CENTURY!!!

Conservatives, Traditionalist, Realists, Christians, other religions, vote in the man with real (proven) military and political experience!

DON'T LET THE LIB-MEDIA DISCOURAGE OR STOP YOU FROM VOTING! DO THE RIGHT THING AND GET OUT AND VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE SMART AMERICA!!!
    GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

    • Posted By: benkrapf @ 11/03/2008 12:51:03 AM

How in the hell could McCain have gotten this far without pandering to the neocons and discarding everything he stood for up to 2 years ago?

He's a maverick, all right... a maverick against the old John McCain.
