Wurzelbacher, who lived in Mesa in 2000 and had an Arizona driver's license, had his driver's license suspended by the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division on May 4, 2000, following a nonpayment of a court-imposed fine for civil traffic violations, according to court records.

Records show he was cited for failure to stop at a red light and for failure to provide proof of insurance on Feb. 9, 2000, in a black Dodge truck at the intersection of Dobson and Baseline roads in Mesa.

After failing to pay his original fine of $627.50 issued in March 2000, his license was suspended and the fine was handed over to a collection agency along with a 16 percent surcharge. The now-resident of Holland, Ohio, still owes $727.90 to the Mesa Municipal Court, according to court records.

Hopefully the collection agency will break both of his legs so he'll never be able to walk nor work ever again. This typical Republican scumbag deserves it.

Besides, how many past presidents (all of whom were white, in case you forgot) would never have seen the Oval Office had it not been for the Black vote -- votes after which they actively and vigorously sought? So, why is a function of RACISM for most Black people to flock to vote for an accomplished, brilliant, charismatic, hopeful, morally sound, internationally popular man of hope -- who happens to be Black, too!!? It's an opportunity to great to pass up! But what if he was all those things, but he was white? Would we not vote for him? Of course, we would! How do I know? The USA finally grows up and looks up to a strong woman with dignity and grace. We have a very racially mixed family and I have long admired black women for their faith and strength. As a white middle aged woman, they have long been my role models and mentors. Think Maya Angelou. It's a new day, ya'll. Time to take off the fear & prejudice and move into a better day. As Teddy Roosevelt said "We can have no "50-50" allegiance in this country. Either a man (or woman) is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all. " Why do people of black ethnicity continue to refer to themselves as African-Americans when they have little to no affiliation with Africa? How many generations does Michelle Obama have to go back in her family before an ancestor actually came from Africa? Why can't she just be a proud American rather than a proud African American?

The Obama message of change and not focusing on the same ol' same ol' has been missed by some of the commentors. A lot of time has been spent in this country on issues of race and quite frankly (with the exception of a few) we are all struggling financially, jobs are hard to come by for everyone, we are all breathing the same polluted air , worrying about keeping a roof over our heads and making sure that we can afford healthcare and a decent education for our children. The Obama message has been clear from the beginning; that we all face these issues regardless of race, religion or whatever and we all need a leader that understands these concerns and will attempt to address them for the bulk of society and not just for large businesses and hope that the benefits will trickle down. I voted for Obama because for me he represents the best candidate based on what I feel is important. Yes as a black female I am proud to have had the opportunity to vote for him, but I did not vote for him because of his race. He was able to overcome a difficult childhood and has been able to live the American dream, not because of some birth right but because he worked for it. I feel his wife also represents the same story. Her parents worked hard to provide their children with the best opportunities that they could offer. She has always presented as dignified but still very real and she would make an excellent first lady!
