I love how wendydk says that the conservative philosophy is hate. wendydk, please pay attention to the post by ObamaYesWeCan - Is this the hate you are talking about? Is breaking Joe the Plumbers legs your idea of progressive passive philosophy. How about Sarah Palin's roasting? Is that inspired by progressive love? Here's ObamaYesWeCan's post of love and harmony. Obama is such a uniter, you know.

Comment: This moronic scumbag Samuel J. Wurzelbacher "Joe the Plumber" had his AZ driver license suspended

    http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/128323

Wurzelbacher, who lived in Mesa in 2000 and had an Arizona driver's license, had his driver's license suspended by the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division on May 4, 2000, following a nonpayment of a court-imposed fine for civil traffic violations, according to court records.

...owes nearly $1,200 in back taxes, according to public records, still owes more than $700 to the Mesa court system.

Records show he was cited for failure to stop at a red light and for failure to provide proof of insurance on Feb. 9, 2000, in a black Dodge truck at the intersection of Dobson and Baseline roads in Mesa.

After failing to pay his original fine of $627.50 issued in March 2000, his license was suspended and the fine was handed over to a collection agency along with a 16 percent surcharge. The now-resident of Holland, Ohio, still owes $727.90 to the Mesa Municipal Court, according to court records.

Hopefully the collection agency will break both of his legs so he'll never be able to walk nor work ever again. This typical Republican scumbag deserves it.

Yes, Obama is looking at some four star generals to run U.S. intelligence. Not some fuzzy-headed, nuanced-thinking intellectual from one of his cocktail parties. Yes, I believe that. He's such a uniter.

Well, the last time the Democrats were in control with the Clintons they destroyed our human intelligence capacity to the point that 911 happened, so if Obama wins, I guess that's probably what will happen again.

I love that somehow Reagan didn't support a country that supported his efforts to fight back Communism and that then manifested itself coming to fruition in another Republican presidency but somehow that is Clinton's fault. Using that logic you can blame the current recession on Obama once he's elected. Because the seeds for this problem weren't sewn prior to this timeframe.

I recently received an email detailing a proposal of the Rand Corp to advise the Pentagon to use the bailout funds to finance a war with a major country to stimulate our economy. How sick does someone have to be before the proper authoritioes lock that person up and isolate him from the human race? I also wonder if this is the crisis the next president is to be confronted with?

Makes you wonder why Dick Cheney tossed McCain under the bus. I believe the DoD and the Intel commnunity will be under tight control with McCain. Generals and employees at the Intel agencies will have more freedom to operate with Obama as President.

    DICK CHENEY ENDORSES MCCAIN/PALIN

Thanks Goodness! He waited so long I was beginning to worry that he would be one of the many high-profile Republicans endorsing Obama!

Have to go with McCain on this one. Our present CIA really needs overhaul and needs to be quick, efficient and do away with the failed Homeland Security.

  • Posted By: C. MacLean @ 11/01/2008 7:49:30 PM

The CIA could probably use a little tweaking, but the important change should be to dismantle the Department of Homeland Security.

It is cumbersome, redundant, and inefficient, and along with Bush's other major legislative effort, No Child Left Behind, does nothing it was intended to do.

The individual agencies that were combined to form DHS did a much better job when they were more autonomous, FEMA being a prime example - will we ever forget the horrors of Katrina?

No, leave the CIA alone - there are more important government bureaucracies to dismantle.

I agree with you Sir. I'd like the CIA left alone, with a tweak, no more domestic work. Same the NSA.
The real disgusting agency is Homeland Security. You are also spot on about Katrina.

RE comments of Wendydk: somewhat hyperbolic, and certainly inaccurate. from my right of center perspective, it is the left side of the argument which consistently demonstrates close-mindedness and intolerance of alternative perspectives. the delusional left would like to elect a far left ideologue and can not accept that this is anathema to conservative-minded Americans. Obama is not the answer. Obama is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Lets see McCain hacksaw to CIA or Obama scapel to CIA I for one prefer to fix the problem not throw the baby out with the bath water.
