If Obama wins the Applachian region will be devistated!! Here in Southwest Virginia and neighboring West Virginia ALL JOBS REVOLVE AROUND COAL and if coal production is cut THOUSANDS OF FAMILIES WILL STARVE!!!! Obama needs to invest some of his time doing research on this area, this region has already been devistated enough, and the last thing the proud people of this area needs is another goverment handout, all the people in this area want is to KEEP THIER JOBS SO THEY CAN FEED THIER FAMILIES!!!!!

    THOUGHTS FROM ACROSS THE POND

An email from Ireland to their brethren in the States...a point to ponder despite your political affiliation:

'We, in Ireland, can't figure out why people re even bothering to hold an election in the United States .

On one side, you have a pants wearing lawyer, married to a lawyer who can't keep his pants on, who just lost a long and heated primary against a lawyer who goes to the wrong church who is married to yet another lawyer who doesn't even like the country her husband wants to run.

Now...On the other side, you have a nice old war hero whose name starts with the appropriate Mc terminology married to a good looking younger woman who owns a beer distributorship.

What in Lords name are you lads thinking over there in the colonies??

Today Sarah Palin's dear old Dad said: Today Sarah will field dress a Donkey.

In her case, wouldn't that be cannibalism?

Exit polls said that Kerry won by over 5%, . . . they were wrong.

Exit polls have overstated the actual vote Obama got in almost every primary.

I wouldn't put too much stock in what the exit polls say this evening.

The problem with Obama is a simple one. One association does not a radical make. But in Obama's case, the list of left-wing radical mentors and associates is seemingly endless, (Davis, Ayers, Wright, Khalidi , etc., etc.) with a new revelation practically every day. With that trend, a picture begins to emerge, and that picture is that Obama is as steeped, not in just left-wing political thought, but in radical left-wing economic and race ideology, to the same extent that Pat Robertson was steeped in the ideology of the radical Religious Right. I would not have voted for Pat Robertson for dog catcher, and for similar reasons, I did not vote for Obama.
