Comment: Look, you lazy liberals. The only way I will let any one of you live in my house, is if you want to be my maid. Work for what you get. I am so tired of watching the government play Robin in The Hood. You little hood rats, might want to get a job and quit sucking your life out of my wallet.

I think thats a bit hardcore for you to say. I only agree with Obama's tactics because in order for us to really be the most "powerful country" on earth, we would have to "share the wealth". No one is discrediting you for working hard for what you have, we all have. No matter how much or how little we have to show for it. All I'm saying is we have to get back on track and the only way to do that is to make some folks who are a little bit more well adjusted than others participate in helping everyone get on the same accord. Dont get the facts twisted....I dont make 6 figures and I basically live paycheck to paycheck but I can hold my own. And for damn sure I will never work for you and be your maid or anything else...thats being lazy on your part...LOL

That's correct, we are almost all "Joes," that's why I can figure out why you would vote for another rich politician, like McCain, who wants to raise to keep us "in our place" and not allow us the Obama tax cut. McCain has no idea what an average "Joe" goes through to make ends meet. Wake up and quite following the campaign rhetoric.

Just like some people will vote for McCain because he is white. Give me a break. I am tired of the republicians. these are the real racists. I will vote for Obama because I believe we need a change and he has the insight to do it. He will help fiscal problems. Think about this he was able to fund raise his own campaign with out public funding. Poor McCain can only afford QVC - LOL. It's time for us to come together and be one United States. But as long as we put each other down we will always be laughed at by other countries. That's why they don't respect us and never will.

The previous posts were written by dumb ass, very uneducated and misinformed fools!!!. THE COUNTRY HAS ALREADY FALLEN!! Whoever becomes President can do NO MORE THAN WHAT CONGRESS ALLOWS!!!! All candidates say what we want to hear but we as a HUMAN RACE should already know all promises won???t be fulfilled. Democrats took over as the majority party 2 years ago. So no, they are not the reason the country is in the shape it's in. Abortion? I would rather see an unwanted pregnancy terminated instead of an unwanted baby born by parents who could careless what happens to him/her. I call that abortion. If that's not having morals as the last poster has stated, then dammit over half of this country has no morals. The Supreme Court has no morals with Roe vs. Wade. But you can sit there on you asses and turn your back to priest raping children. This is bogus!!! Again OBAMA IS A CHRISTIAN!! And so what if he was a Muslim?? Nowhere in the Constitution does it state that you had to be a Christian in order to run for President. It states that you had to be at least 35 years old and a Natural born citizen. As a recall in Geography class, Hawaii is apart of the United States of America- THAT GOES TO THE BIGOT MMATEO WHO IS QUESTIONING OBAMA'S LEGAL STATUS. CHECK THE MAP AGAIN!!

I am so tired of watching the government play Robin in The Hood. You little hood rats, might want to get a job and quit sucking your life out of my wallet. Robin Hood Obama promised you ice cream, and I'm paying for it. Come on in. You can serve it to me and earn a living.

"I will serve you that Ice cream IF it is laced with something to make you GROW A BRAIN".
I work for a living, have since I was 16. I am a liberal dem. that got pregnant at 17 (like Palins daughter, so don't go slingin the mud). I NEVER went on welfare, instead I dressed up like "Chuck E Cheese mouse" to EARN a living, and support my child (that I didn't abort, even though I am PRO CHOICE). I have worked all my life (except for the 1 year I was unemployed because my boss was a REPUB. who didn't like the fact that I don't like Bush, so he FIRED ME FOR BEING TOO POLITICAL, yes those were his words.) ((That was just after the 2004 election that Bush STOLE, and I had very strong opinions about it)).
My husband and I make about 50-60K a year, Obama will help us not HURT us like McCain will. How dare you sit there and tell me we are lazy. I GUARANTEE you, YOU would NEVER be able to do the work my husband does, you wouldn't last even a half a day.
Go to the mailbox and collect your dividend check, that's your idea of HARD work, gimme a break. "don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining".

It is really a shame that a major presidental candidate would hide his plans to repress the coal industry, and to start a federal police force. I guess he knew he wouldn't win if he let the voters his true intentions. golfprof41

I hope you are better at golf than you are at understanding politics. Go Obama!

  • Posted By: trexdog @ 11/04/2008 2:11:28 PM

I am so tired of people voting based on race and political party. I majority of the people I have talked to don't know what the candidates really stand for. When I have directed people to web sites where you answer questions about the issues and see which candidate agrees with you almost all of them were surprised to find out there is another candidate who holds views closer to theirs. If you don't vote by the issues you should not vote. DaVinci's post below is way off... Obama is an extreme socialist (socialized medicine, "spread the wealth", etc.). If you want change you should be voting for McCain/Palin. Both have done more politically than Obama.

    • Posted By: looksatissues @ 11/04/2008 2:24:58 PM

Did you go to public school? Are you planning on collecting Social Security? Then, that would make you a socialist too, dumba$$.

  • Posted By: Nowforsomemoretruth @ 11/04/2008 12:18:02 PM

The problem with Obama is a simple one. One association does not a radical make. But in Obama's case, the list of left-wing radical mentors and associates is seemingly endless, (Davis, Ayers, Wright, Khalidi , etc., etc.) with a new revelation practically every day. With that trend, a picture begins to emerge, and that picture is that Obama is as steeped, not in just left-wing political thought, but in radical left-wing economic and race ideology, to the same extent that Pat Robertson was steeped in the ideology of the radical Religious Right. I would not have voted for Pat Robertson for dog catcher, and for similar reasons, I did not vote for Obama.

This simply is not true. Go to factcheck or snopes to verify. Geeeesh! Go Obama!

  • Posted By: photonphreak @ 11/04/2008 1:04:22 PM

ENOUGH!! I can't fight the tide of uninformed idiots. "Obama the Muslim, terrorist, Socialist, etc." I don't know where you people think you learned any of this, but it's very clear that your thick skulls will never be penetrated by the truth. In fact, however, I stated that incorrectly. You who are espousing these views are worse than uninformed, you are either intentionally ignorant or stupid. This is America, though, and you still get to vote. Just don't cry about the outcome. I put up with 4 years of W, but I did so because this is the greatest country in the world, I wouldn't live anywhere else, and even though I disagreed with the choice it was made by my fellow citizens (and, of course, the Supreme court). I hope that if Obama wins you raving Republicans will do the same.

Well, who ever gets into office Obama or Mccain God still has the final say so of what's going to happen with this world. If Obama wins so be it, or if Mccain wins so be it. If it becomes the end of the world it's because God allowed it!

Hahaha economy the fault of republicans. As an independent, I have been shocked that neither party brings up the legislation that I believe caused this mess. It is because they all voted for it overwhelmingly, and nobody wants to admit fault. The foundation for the current financial crisis was set in motion by Bill Clinton and the Republican House and Senate with full support of House and Senate Democrats, in 1999 with the Financial Services Modernization Act. Check it out. It removed alot of banking and stock regulation from the Glass Stegall act of 1933. Down with the republican and democratic party. I want a 4+ pary system, or no parties at all.

Abortion is murder. This has become such a wicked Godless country that people can't even see the wrong in murder. It makes me sick that the government will fund abortions over and over again, for people who fornicate and don't wanna pay the consequences. Should these people raise children, no. I have family members who have tried for years to concieve a child, and can't, nor can they afford 30,000 dollars to adopt a child. Why won't the government step up for people who would gladly adopt one of these precious, yet unwanted babies? When you stand before God, and you will (Hebrews 9:27) we'll see how you feel about abortion then. Some think unborn babies shouldn't be counted as a life, but if someone kills a pregnant woman, they are charged with double murder. Here's what God almighty says about it,
Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. God knew each and every one of us before we came out of the womb. May God have mercy on this country!

      • Posted By: Matthew5:16 @ 11/04/2008 12:31:46 PM

WRONG!!!!!!! That's what God said to Jeremiah the prophet. Wanna talk Bible with me? Maybe I can lead you to Jesus Christ.

        • Posted By: ncfinsfan @ 11/04/2008 2:21:51 PM

Actually, a man wrote what God said. He wrote it hundreds of years after it happened. Men decided what cannons went into the Bible. Revalations was almost left out. Men, those that fall short of God and Jesus decided what went into the Bible. Jerimiah and God are the only two that really knew what was discussed between them.

      • Posted By: BrittanyB @ 11/04/2008 12:29:07 PM

I do not think abortion is the way to handle a pregnancy by no means. However, the number of deaths of mothers having abortions decreased with the legality of abortion, therefore decreasing the total number of deaths due to abortion. Women are still going to have abortions whether it is legal or not. If it is legal, the chance of the mother dying drops significantly. Therefore, I support the legality of abortion. I think we have the responsiblitiy to eliminate as much death as possible for our fellow man, and by keeping abortion legal, we meet that responsibility. For the record,I do not think it is right to kill an unborn child. But it is worse to allow the child and mother to die.

Wow, I am shocked at some of the misleading information and flat out lies out there that people actually buy into. Obama will do nothing but make this country better after the damage Bush has done.

Anything short of a monkey can do a better job when compared to Bush.

  • Posted By: JohnPolitico @ 11/04/2008 2:21:25 PM

What scares me most about this Election is the fact that the cards are stacked against McC & Palin. More specifically against the Republican Party. And it doesn't take a genius to figure out why. The letter W comes to mind. Although W doesn't get the credit he deserves for some of the good things he has done (i.e., keep America safe since 9/11), IMHO his bad deeds and/or questionable deeds far outweigh the good. But what bothers me most is the idea (political strategy) of exploiting the Christian Faith for personal gain. Not good. I happen to be Catholic, but I'm a firm believer in keeping Church separate from State.

Actually, I give more credit to local law-enforcement agencies across the nation for preventing further attacks on American soil, than I do Big Gov. I have a lot of family in law-enforcement and they do a damn good job of staying on top of things. God bless 'em! And our military!!

But here's the bottom line regarding this year's electiion: We've been told over & over again by the liberal media---THIS IS THE DEMOCRATS YEAR. The Year the Democrats are to take back the W.H no if, ands or buts.

The truth is it probably would've been a cakewalk (landslide) had Gore run this time around. But noooo! The Democrats are more interested in forcing history down our throat than picking/nominating the most qualified candidate in their party. My guess is that Gore was muscled out of the pic by those powerful C'tons. But I guess we'll never really know will we?

As we all know the popular vote doesn't really count for much--just look back at 2000. Unfortunately for us McC supporters, 2008 is looking more and more like payback time for the shenanigans that W & Co. pulled off in 2000. Sad, but I think it's true. It's all about the Electoral College (State Delegates across the nation). IMHO, there's a lot of pressuring being put on members of the Electorate to vote Democrat no matter what the outcome of the pop vote is come the G.E.

The only real chance that McC's has is if Republicans and Independents (voting 4 McC) come out in record numbers to cast their vote. The numbers need to be lopsided in McC's favor so that the pressure is too-too great for the EC to pull a fast one on us like they did in 2000. 'Cause I'm telling you! If this race is even remotely close, the EC is gonna crown the Dem the winner. Remember it's their Year! The same theory applies had Hill got the Dem Nomination. It's their Year!!

It is near mathimatically impossible for Obama to lose. He IS the President. Get over it. McCain's *** bat *** crazy. Palin?? You're telling me of all the people in the USA, she's the "second best"?? Please. I don't support anything but my two eyes. I'm not voting for bat *** crazy morons. MORONS. Like Bush. Like McCain. Like Palin. MORONS.

That is what the media told you to believe. I hope Obama does win, maybe the change we will make after the mess is made is a reasonable IQ score will be required to vote.

Please stop the name calling. The beautiful thing about our country is our freedom of choice. We can choose to respect eachother and our opinions. We can make our opinions count by voting, not hating.

  • Posted By: jabadgett @ 11/04/2008 2:21:11 PM

I hope Obama wins we need a Democrat president to fix what Bush messed up,which is just about everything. We need someone backing the middle class, not the high class.

Any of you complaining about bringing troops home....you all realize they went on their own, they were not forced into anything....every idividual I know in the war is there by choice & are supporting their country with pride....apparantly Liberals have no pride in their country...if this country is so bad LEAVE! If not voting for Obama is racist...then not voting for the canidate with a female (McCain-Palin) should be sexist...get over yourselves.....
