this is a show democratic time
Don't hate because Obama will be then next President, and blacks have always voted Democrat why would this be any different. Now if Obama was a Republican and all blacks were voting for him, I would say they were only voting because he is black. Blacks have always gon Democrat-Clinton, Gore, Kerry they aren't black.
Mary, you drank the kool-aid
And don't forget Were supporting illegal aliens too.
Ignorance is bliss. People voting for Obama have no clue what he will do for this country - you all have no idea what "changes" he is for - we're in for a major change alright. Blame it all on Bush, right? No accountability for people going out and getting mortgages they couldn't afford themselves. No accountability for personal responsibility and taking on debt and voting for a liberal democratic congress that has caused a lot of the issues we have today. Do your research and pull your heads out. Obama menas that we are screwed...
I don't care if Obama is Black....actually he's not. There is very little "BLACK" in him. I am NOT voting for him because he doesn't have our best interests at heart. He is for redistributing the wealth. Come on people. Thats what got us into the mess with Fannie Mae and Freddick Mac! The reason some people don't have money is because they either don't want to sacrifice and work for it, or they've made very poor choices in life...like depending on someone else to take responsibility for their life. Let me tell you about "redistributing the wealth"...it's called Socialism. A good example would be Holland...where the minimum income is $21 dollars an hours...wait..hold on....the taxes are 49%!!!! How does that grab you!! Also, what Obama is saying with his socialistic attitude is that you are where you come from..and that "poor people should have a slice of the pie"...thats not the way it works in America. If you bust your butt you will come out ahead. He is saying that some people "just can't do this"...that they will "always remain the same"...thus taking the responsibility of their own life...as well as their hopes and dreams....and letting the government dictate to them. Why should you want money from a person who is making at least 250,000...because gee...you could never do that? COME ON!! I'm also not voting for him because he is for abortion...including partial birth abortion. Think of abortion this way...if we eliminate the people who are going to work in this country...to help with social security when our butts are old....how is that going to affect us. No workers, no money, no social security. Chew on that one a while! More than that...life is precious and we don't have the right to take it!
As far as our welfare system goes...oh boy....does anyone know how to catch a wild pig? You throw some corn out in the woods...they come and eat it. You build one part of a fence. The pigs are scared at first..but they get used to it and start feeding off the corn again. You build all four sides of the fence this way...one part at a time. Then you build the gate. When its time to shut the gate the pigs go a little nuts...but then they go back to eating the free food. Thats how welfare works...and a socialistic society. They take away our freedoms....one at a time...and before you know it..you don't have freedom any more...but hey, you've got free food....right? WAKE UP!!!
I'm against some of the things Obama is for but still think he is the better of the 2. All McCain is worried
about is money, we need someone that will change things in the country for the poor people not the
wealthy, and the elderly has always come out at the bottom, that has been done for years I believe Barack
Obama is for the elderly who can't afford insurance to supplement their Medicare. He's the one.
number one I am not white or BLACK I am Indiana, and most proud of it!!!! and yes this is MY country and noboy cares that we were here first, I am 40 years old and I know what my people have been through and now that we have a BLACK man running for president it's only going to get worse for MY country.......C'mon, again we are not ready for this, you may sit here and and say what you think other people want to here, but it's time to be honest with your self and your children
If you want to talk racism, what about the so-called rev. wright. Now there is a racist. look him up on you tube if the obama campaign has not surpressed it yet.
i scarcely see how McCain will succeed without raising taxes in someway. Tax increases (be it VAT, council rates, levies) are necessary evils in achieving realistic change. I think the impact of those increases on the taxpayer is the issue one needs to focus on
It's easy, more jobs.... if you drill here, make refineries, create nuclear plants you create more jobs (and higher paying jobs) so that you can lower taxes but still make more money because people are contrubuting their taxes. (new business also pay taxes etc) - it's the same as if you take a penny a day and double it for a month or do you want a million dollars?? the penny doubled works out to be $5,368,709.12
I think you miss the point that lower taxes actually generates more revenue to the federal government. Just look at recent history...the federal government's revenues were significantly higher in the 8 years of Bush than they were in the 8 years of Clinton.
ok ok i know the solution to this election. vote for me.
you see a guy like me......crazzzy. its simple, we kill the batman. here's my card. i only accept cash
The man in this video has got it all straight:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjo85WhbYqM
Every person considering voting for Obama should watch this highly intelligent BLACK man speak....and check out his other youtube videos while you're at it...
Am I totally out of touch or is killing our babies....taking our guns..supporting gay marriage...giving green light to cloning humans...and don't dare display The Ten Commandments.
Everyone saying that race issues don't exist really need to look around a bit more. Voting for McCain because he's white is NO BETTER than voting for Obama just to make history because he's black. Racism certainly goes both ways and is very apparent in these last few weeks. How many people do you know that never voted before that came out of the woodwork to vote this year? In Georgia alone, according to CNN, 30% of GA's early voters never voted before despite having been registered (for those that want to respond that they all just happened to turn 18 this time around). Voting for Obama because he's black is no better than voting for Palin because she's a woman. And before anyone accuses me, I am not a white male.
If you all look at the current polls and trends in those poll, the charisma of Obama is starting to wear thin. If, McCain wins, it will prove one thing to a lot of people, that this man can run on a budget. That is what this country needs. He is a maverick, who will and has proven repeatedly that he will cut a lot of the big government crap in Washington. I feel that most of the polls are lopsided at the moment, because the Republican leaning majority hasn't been polled yet. There was an Obama supporter trying to canvass my neighborhood this past week. Funny thing was that most of my neighbors wouldn't talk to her because they have opened their eyes and realized that Obama is all charisma and nothing else. Empty promises, and no true ability to lead a people. His understanding of economics is elementary. How can you give a tax break to 95% of the people and afford to make a bigger government that is running on a deficit in the first place. It's about time for the Republican leaning sleeper cell to wake up and make their voices heard.
what is even more funny is that 95% of the people don't pay taxes, only approx 50% do. The statistics are that the top 10% of wage earners pay 60% of the taxes already, the top 50% of wage earners pay 98% of the taxes, the bottom 50% pay only 2% of the taxes....
i think we should forget about those candidates and look at who should really be president........me!!
traczimm458 , calling you a retard would be an insult to retards.
This election has nothing to do with race. It has to do with bad obama policy. He is the 2nd most liberal senator and the country is not ready for his politics. Giving back tax monmey to people who don't pay it. How does anyone justify that?
???Nowforsomethingotherthanthetruth??? exemplifies the measures employed by the McCain campaign starting with the anonymous smear emails that began when McC hired the Bush propaganda machine.
This deception campaign tries to benefit from party loyalties. It preys upon hate, prejudice and fear, and on the ???unanswered questions??? fabricated by the anonymous emails this campaign perpetrated. Links to debunks of many of those fabrications are in an earlier posting.
This is by far the greatest extreme ever in American politics. It is a fundamental threat to our political process. It would further entrench the Bush operatives who took over the McC campaign, and the republican lobbyists who represent only the megarich who looted our economy.
McC was a maverick. He promised to root out the lobbyists he said are what???s wrong with Washington. He said he would not take the low road employed by the Bush machine when it smeared him. He sold out when he got behind and subscribed to the ideology that the end justifies the means.
McC would continue the Bush tax give away to the rich that McC previously opposed and called ???irresponsible??? because ???it only benefits the rich.???
McC now wants to give more billions in tax give aways to oil companies that have just reported the largest profits in history for two consecutive quarters, while he claims that lowering taxes for everyone under $250k in after-deduction income will somehow keep businessmen from starting businesses.
???Nowfor??? has employed many of the themes in the anonymous viral emails. He recently said it was ???revealed that Obama has PLO buddies??? referring to Rashid Khalidi to whom McC donated $440k:
http://richmonddemocrat.blogspot.com/2008/10/mccain-funded-rashid-khalidi.html Guilt by association.
"Nowfor" continues repasting that the cause of our problem is a law decades old that encourages loans to qualified low income people.
Alan Greenspan said the cause is that an entire financial system was built outside of regulation; "we trusted" these self-interested looters ???to regulate themselves???. Credit Default Swaps resulted. They increased from $106 trillion in '02 to $531 trillion under R stewardship.
The legitimate news has reported that Fannie and Freddie paid many millions to McC's campaign manager, Rick Davis, who received up to $35K/mo. from Fannie and Freddie from 2000 to while he has been McC's campaign manager.
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/22/us/politics/22mccain.html and http://www.newsweek.com/id/164732/page/1
Trillions were looted from our economy because the Rs allowed it. The Rs, including McC's campaign manager, are in the pockets of big money.
Without solutions, it is necessary to campaign with deception, misdirection, fear, smears, hypocrisy.
Attempts to hijack our political process with deceit and abuse of the trust of party loyalties are reasons I'm voting for Obama after 40 years of never voted for a Dem.
A 40
