Well don't watch the exit polls. They had Kerry winning by at least 5% and he lost. Same with Obama in the primaries. Obama always eneded up with significantly less actual vote than predicted by the exit polls.

Obama's plan for jobs on Pennsylvania, West Virginia and other coal producting states, and Obama's plan for dealing with the high cost of energy, including electricity generation.

An audiotape of an interview Barack Obama did in January 2008 with The San Francisco Chronicle has surfaced in the final days of the presidential campaign. On the tape Obama tells the interviewer how he will use environmenal laws to kill the Coal industry,

"so if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can ... It's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted."

Also says he's policy will cause price of electricity to skyrocket.

Now, why would Obama say that in San Francisco and not Pennsylvania? We've seen him do that before, right? Something about guns and religion.

And why did Newsweek take their story on the Pennsylvania campaign down Sunday after this story broke?

Its funny hearing all these pundits saying Indiana is in play. They clearly don't know Indiana. the deck is so stacked against the dems here that it is highly unlikely for Obama to pull it off - the only real hope is for some downticket coattails. The right does a masterful job with turnout, the left who has been so demoralized and disenfranchised over the years not so much sadly a potentially strong challeneger for governor ran an almost non existant campaign, while the wildly unpopular Bush crony Daniels will surely retain his seat. The dems really need to step up their game if they ever want any progress in this reddest of red states.

bobuecker-You still here? I told you to at least get dressed and go out to play so we adults can talk. Stop embarrising yourself and find something to do that your competent at.

I pray for us all. Obama has done absolutely to deserve the chance to become president of our great country. His expansion of our government will cripple our economy, and I shudder to think of the possibility that this super majority could actually pass socialized healthcare in some capacity. If this happens, it will be irreversible. Our quality of healthcare will decline and you WILL pay more in taxes regardless Obama's ability to define "tax cuts" in a whole new way.

McCAIN HAS SPENT MORE TIME AS A PRISIONER OF WAR FOR OUR COUNTRY THAN OBAMA HAS IN SENATE errr RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT

OBAMAS QUESTIONABLE ASSOCIATIONS WITH MULTIPLE KNOWN TERRIORISTS WOULD AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFY HIM FROM EVEN A INTERNSHIP AT THE WHITE HOUSE

    • Posted By: Browneyes57 @ 11/04/2008 9:56:10 AM

Wake up!!!! Our econonmy is already crippled, we do not have quality healthcare, and our taxes are out of control!!!!!! Where have you been these past 8 years, where are you today?????

Being a prisoner of war does not a good president make. If one of the Abu Graibe (spelling) prisoners had turned on our soldiers and put them in prison, they would have been justified in that act. Learn about war crimes. Most often America has invaded other countries when we get caught we think its unfair. "all's fair in love and war" being a prisoner does not a hero or leader make ...........WAKE UP

Everyone can vote, except for ignorant, ranting, angry, brainwashed, non tax paying, mikecrt.

  • Posted By: mikecrt @ 11/04/2008 9:50:27 AM

Wow, I think thats a great idea about paying taxes to vote, and knowing the issues. We could have IQ testing and educational requirements. Also people should make a certain amount of money well above the average, so we can show we are serious and not one of those poor wage earners. And to show we can responsibly run things, we should all own at least one plantation and at least a few slaves, the exact number being open to discussion. Keep me informed with how these ideas are going.

MIKE I have every right to post my freedom of speech here. We are not Socialist yet.

    • Posted By: Objectivisor @ 11/04/2008 9:42:46 AM

Capitalism = Government owns no financial institutions. Communism = Government owns all financial institutions. Socialism = Government owns only a few of the major financial institutions. With the purchase of Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac, the U.S., by definition, became a Socialist country.

  • Posted By: mikecrt @ 11/04/2008 9:41:31 AM

missmikkijo You certainly do have every right to make a fool out of yourself, wouldn't want to take that important right away. Simply pointing out the fallacy to your hysterical posting!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Posted By: jr1979 @ 11/04/2008 9:39:22 AM

I totally agree, Dissedvoter. We need to as a country, focus on us, and make sure that our vote is fair and accurate. I also agree on the point of having to be a taxpayer to vote. Might I add that we should also institute a test to at least have a *ing clue about the issues we face. My district rep is a great man (John Boehner) and fights very hard for the common man, like myself. He may not always win his point, but at least I know he is with us and for us.

PEOPLE - the last two years of Congress has been lead by the DEMOCRATICS!!!! Before that this country was in much better shape. Don't look at just the President, look at who is suppposed to be representing YOU!!!

  • Posted By: truth4politics @ 11/04/2008 8:11:21 AM

War mongering hysterics have ruined our stature in the world - start thinking about the future of OUR Country - not trying to force other cultures to live in martial law - terror is as terror does. The republicans have raided your pension funds, taken your jobs and credit in the name of exxon making HUGE profits - now will they try to take credit for gas prices falling? - it's the recession caused by billions spent for ammo. Vote OBAMA - do it now!

    • Posted By: wcmartin @ 11/04/2008 9:33:28 AM

You are aware that Exxon's actual profit margin is fairly narrow. You are aware that profits in oil is driven by global supply & demand. You are aware that, if you don't want to be paying $15/gallon for gas, these oil companies need profit incentive to explore oil reserves which are 7 miles under the surface of the ocean. Are you aware that on a retail level, your local gas station actually loses money during rapidly increasing oil prices, because if they changed their pump prices as rapidly, the government would accuse them of gouging the consumer.

    • Posted By: alexbrian @ 11/04/2008 8:52:24 AM

      You are absolutely right !!!!

    • Posted By: usmcboomman @ 11/04/2008 8:23:18 AM

You're aware that the Democrats have held the majority in the house and the senate. It's not taking away from the irresponsible behavior in which politicians from both parties have behaved. I myself have voted for Mc Cain but voted against all of my representatives who voted for the bailout, regardless of party. I am an independent, who also puts country first.

Finally on one point we agree.

  • Posted By: mikecrt @ 11/04/2008 8:13:50 AM

After reading many of the comments made, I find it extremely difficult to type while laughing so hard. People throw around terms like socialism as if they know what it means-most don't. Socialism is feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, healing the sick, etc. It's taking care of those who can't take care of themselves so we all progress and do better. A lot of this type of stuff was put forth by that trouble maker Jesus. And I'm an atheistan atheist. At least I'm not a hypocrit.

    • Posted By: wcmartin @ 11/04/2008 9:30:25 AM

Last time I checked, diminishing the value of human integrity was totally opposite of Jesus' teachings. Clothe the naked, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless is not socialism. It is a guide for how we as individuals, not the government, should live our lives. When you set up systems that make people reliant on government, you diminish their values as human beings. I don't think that Obama's plan is to be the noble president in feeding the hungry and clothing the naked. His running mate certainly does not believe in it, as he has hardly given any of his $300,000+/year of income to charity. Obama, as a community organizer, had $50 million to improve the lives of the poor children in his neighborhood, but he failed. After Obama's educations "reforms" there was no improvement in test scores or achievement. Ultimately, I recall the parable of Jesus where, instead of catching the fish for the man, you teach the man how to fish. That is the lesson of human dignity that Jesus tought.

You left out, goverment telling you when to get treated. I mean if it's that good, why aren't more people moving to Canada for it's free health care. How does this get paid? By skyrocketing taxes. Yea, they come here for private treatment, not the other way around.

  • Posted By: Dissedvoter @ 11/04/2008 9:29:58 AM

The voting system, the core of our democracy has fallen More registrations than tghe population in some states. We oversee elections in other coiuntrys closer than we do our own. All in the name of protecting votes. You should have to be a taxpayer to vote.

Are you afraid that if a Black Man becomes president that the tables will turn and you will become a slave?????????

      • Posted By: another concerned Christian @ 11/04/2008 9:25:59 AM

I just pray that God will put the right man in office... we as Christians need to follow our Moral standings as we vote. Color is NOT the issue - and as for party - I don't really think that comes into play as much as we think... the President doesn't have FULL Control. Please remember to Pray before you vote and follow God's leading!

Oh no! objectivisor you certainly must be an elitist, (that means educated if your a registered Republican). You presented facts! You cheated, thats not fair. Your gonna confuse some of the simpletons. Forget it. Its like spitting into the wind. You can't convince the numbingly stupid population out there.

McCain just wont quit! Don't listen to the pollsters. Get out and vote and let the chips fall where they may. There is too much at stake in this election. It is NOT about Color or making History. It is the direction of our Country. I urge you to give John McCain a chance he has served his Country well.

My Friends, I swear that is the biggest turn off, he is so fake trying to pretend he knows all these people that he has an intimate relationship with all these people etc, Hell he can't even follow his closest advisors when he chose Palin what in the heck makes you think he is in this for the people, he is just like the current administration going to help his rich supporters and give oil companies and crooks more opportunity to exploit the nation before he dies./ Wake up we are not his friends, " he don't know us like that"
