The only racial comments have come out of the Obama camp. You're absolutely correct on why would I want a President like that. I want a President that will honor his position and the people he represents. Obama is the one that went after a simple person who asked him a tougher question in which he wasnt preped for. So he goes on a character assassination spree with the media on the poor guy, reminded me of the kgb. I remember a goverment that did that, the Soviet Union. He kicked out 3 reporters from the press corps because their newspapers endorsed Mc Cain. Where is freedom of speech at. Only when his pastor speaks is it freedom of speech. Yea, I said it. Socialism never works. Liberals believe in the American dream, until you make it and become the American nightmare. I don't agree with all of Mc Cains policies and I am a registerd indipendent. By the way, I am hispanic, and I have experience dracism firsthand. But I make no excuses, I seek nothing from the goverment. I do like the idea that someday I too can make a difference. I do believe in working hard to make it in this country. We are not guaranteed anything except the same equal opportunity. This is the only country where only you can hold yourself back.

OBAMA made it very easy for me to vote. He supports the murder of 1.3 million babies every yr, he even supports leaving newborn babies who survived abortion on the table to die. I would not want someone like that living in my neighborhood, so I would ote for almost anybody other than him.
He has said clearly what his plans are, and nobody seems to listen. Changing for the worse is not a good thing, but in a time where so many try to make Good bad, and bad Good, i can see why so many think they want him in office, but when he makes the changes I think most will say they did not vote for him

gee, I wonder is this a democratic discussion board. There are more things wrong with the Obama-Biden ticket than there will ever be with the McCain ticket and you knew anything, you'd know why he can't use a computer. You'd also know he came from a long line of military men that bravely fought for our freedom and the American way. We can chose today what we stand for and how we want this country to go. McCain has not chosen friends that are anti-american. He has spoken on policies that will continue to benefit us. Everyone here has a right to chose, chose, carefully, that savior you are looking for could turn out to be the anti-christ. I know a great many men that are in their seventies that could and would gladly show a few young folks a thing or to about survival and strength. I know I will praying for each and everyone of us in this very important election. It is in his hands now. No matter what we think, remember to vote. your vote counts.

The old folks will vote McCain. The young folks will vote Obama.

You sir are wrong yourself. The job of the VP is to oversee the senate and be the deciding vote in case of a tie. Included with the job comes all the executive requirements of keeping track of the presidents policies in case the President is incapable of running the country. This includes such things as kidnapping, sickness, mental illness or death. As long as the President is incapable of making a conciencious decision, then the VP makes the executive decisions. You really should follow politics a little better before opening your mouth on such a topic. votenow

With all the dirty mud slinging and racial ( terrorist remarks from the Mccain/Palin side), who would want a president like that. If he is this nasty running for President can you just imagine him in the White House.NO THANKS!!!!! He should have dumped Palin along time ago. She is a very nasty woman and has no business in politics.

terripin99, I'm puzzled. You want Hilary yet you say you oppose "more government"...Though I choose to call it making our government work for us instead of the insider crowd...what's up with that? Did you believe Hilary would abandon all her goals (all of which I support, don't get me wrong) and offer "less government"? Or is "more government" ok if she had won? Moving away from that, I hope whoever wins will use government effectively. I'm bewildered by people who claim to want someone who will do nothing and knows nothing...you know "He/she is an outsider who doesn't know Washington and who will get government out of everything, cause government per se is bad?" Why would anyone right now want that when at the very least we need an intelligent leader who will work hard to improve regulation of the financial markets, rebuild our alliances, and deal with the various crises we face. A President can only do so much of course, however good a man or woman he/she is but they can inspire and provide leadership on legislation and bring important issues to the forefront. In short, we've just tried government by dimwitted know-nothing...and slimey CEO...It don't work.

Not following orders rather being somewhere your not suppose to be, getting your plane shot down and captured as a POW doesn't automatically make you a maverick or president. It's more on the order of stupid.

Ladies and gentlemen... I think its about time that "Dubya" got a size 12 boot up the backside and out of the white house. Mc Cain would be a HUGE mistake, since he seems to have one foot in the grave and another on a banana skin and therefore is a good candidate for a marriage to an Anna Nicole Smith wannabe but not to run the USA..and if he does get in, you guys are going to be faced with the terrible prospect of Sarah Stalin...sorry Palin, possibly taking over in a short while when Mc Cain dies...and since she looks hard pressed to remember what the hell she is doing 9 tenths of the time...would you REALLY want her in charge of the big red button? I wouldnt give her the remote for the telly never mind the button!!!
Vote Obama, he's about the best of a bad lot. I think Hilary should have got a chance. But maybe the USA might not be ready yet for a WOMAN president. They who pride themself on being the most progressive and far seeing country in the world should remember that the UK had a woman prime minister since 1979 or there abouts and that we in Ireland have had two women presidents, Robinson and Mc Aleese.
It will be interesting to see if the USA is really ready for a black president? Have they really the balls to be as progressive as they think they are...or will it be another 2004 job?
