What to Watch For

I have nothing against Senator Obama, in fact I like his charisma, his attitude and his willigness to serve the country. However, I have to remind myself how did he become the Democratic candidate in the first place. Hillary Clinton by all counts had all the favor of the Democrat base, and has the skills to become a good president, however, for some reason, the top Democrat echelons did not like her, so a war was fought against her, no matter what. and Obama capitalized on that. To me, this tells me that personal interests always prime over the needs fo the nation. As it turns out, neither the Republican party, nor the Democratic party have shown TRUE leadershup, but rather a mechanical ways to maintain a failed political status, meanwhile the American people keep suffering from mistakes made by our so called LEADERS. Obama will become the president, yet, the TRUE leadership of America is at stake. What America needs is a new political party along with TRUE leadership. It takes time to achieve that, but America must face itself and make crucial decisions, if America wants to continue leading the world. If not, America faces the prospectus of becoming a third rated country. Perhaps this is what it takes in order to rise from the ashes. Meanwhile, we will continue with America ¨as is¨.

McCain not only = more of the same, but what he's offered during the campaign is a picture of incompetence, from his pick of Sara Palin to his reaction to the financial crisis. Experience being wrong is not the kind of experience we need.

Obama will bring the change needed to fix this country. He'll have the right people around him to do this, along with his thoughtful and steady approach. I'd much rather have his treasury secretary administering the financial bailout money on behalf of the people, than those around McCain, and he'll fix the economy and regulatory system in a way we can count on. He's already spoken of a 90 day freeze in foreclosures and loans for struggling small businesses to stay afloat in this economic environment. All things to help the mainstreet economy that will effect average people and not just wallstreet.

A second grader who voted for obama in class said that he voted for him because "he is very nice and very smart, and I couldn't think of a better answer"

Both seem at little shady & secretive to me. Obama thinks more government involvement is a good thing at this point. McCain -a little too stand- off ish , much like a George Bush Lite.

I have never voted Republican since I started voting in 68. I think I might write in Hillary, and focus on all the other incumbents that HAVE TO GO !!

This must be an Obama station as I can see my prevous comments in support of John McCain have been removed.

May we live to see the day that Bush/Cheney are out of power. Do not for a minute suppose that they are not capable of starting a catostrophic war in order to continue their lust for power.

Bring On Obama! I am disgusted with myself for ever voting for George W Bush in his first term. The man handled 9/11 somewhat well but after that his ship sunk! He could very well be the worst president in our nations history. I am completely disgusted with the Republican Party and will never vote Republican again as long as I live. The man is a bafoon and a puppet. Look at his history he has failed at everything he has set out to do. He has ridin the coattails of his fathers succes his whole life. We all need to get out and vote today. Our choices will make or break our economy and this country as a whole. I am very scared for what is in store for this country if either candidate does not hold true to what he is claiming he wants to accomplish. George W was going to bring this country back to the days of old and all he has done is drivin it into the ground... GET OUT AND VOTE!

1) Withdraw from Iraq.(four thousand dead American soldiers and a trillion dollars too late) 2) Stop the influx of Mexican immigrants.(fourteen million immigrants too late - fifteen percent of Mexicos population). 3) Stop the influx of billions of dollars worth of cocaine and marijuana being smuggled across the U.S.-Mexican border. 4) Create ten million jobs.

This election will obviously go to where it belong, people all over America are not uncivilized and not racial,
they are pretty smart, and that if they dont change the present administration,they will fall right back to where

kind of achievementm what a shame of people of this calibre,, dont you see the difference between Obama
and Mc Cain/Palin, they will never prosper if this kind of attitude exists in their hearts, racialism will never
erase from their system, ... they too needs CHANGE for a better or best America and become once more
respectable under Obama's guidance and knowledge,,, Have you ever seen Obama looses his cools like McCain,,, print millions of this letter and circulate it to the American people for goodness sake...
