Short and sweet....it was time for a change, and the time has come. Hopefully my candidate will exercise good judgment and bring on Bill as an economic advisor. Enough of the bad times....let us move forward! Time to right the sinking ship...

barack obama's election is a signal to all minority groups that they too can achieve their dreams if they persevere.the struggle may be long and hard but all people can eventually succuud. in the early 1980's i predicted that i would see certain things before i died. 1] the fall of communism. 2] the fall of apartheid 3] the establishment of a palestinian state 4] a black or other minority person becoming leader of a major westrn country[ i thought britain or france ] i have now seen three and have hopes for the fourth. congrats president elect obama and may you have the wisdom and strength to lead america and the world in the direction of greater peace and development.

I want President Elect Barack Obama and his family to know that I am praying for them daily and remember to always put God first and acknowledge him as Lord and he will continue to direct his path. I also want to thank David Axelrod and the very fine team that God had provided for President Elect to run the race with honesty and fairness, this is the result of faithful and dedicated people. Also he had people who knew the Lord on his side. Lastly I would like to Thank and congratulate the White Americans and every race that supported the Election for God is no respector of person He loves us all. Much love was shown this week and the World will surely be a better place because of this. Thank-you America for a job well done. Now the United States of America has the true meaning of its name. Let's make God proud.

I'm so proud to be alive to see this day. I always knew that God would send that Chosen One to start preparing Souls to heal and minds to mend. We the people are as one in God's eyes, there is no color boundaries or issues with the Father. I was given this vision 10 years ago, and I'm grateful to be a witness and to be able to share this time with my son. I pray everyday for us all and the Dream that was shown to Dr. King will manifest. As I grew older and experienced unpleasant and ignorant remarks, from those who are lost in the darkness and still wandering in the wilderness. I began to talk to God, and ask for strength to endure. This is when God started working with me in every aspect of my life. So when I was shown a vision of my struggles and heartbreak for all the ignorance i'd endured, that i am a Blessed and Highly Favored Child of God. I no longer had to pray for strength to endure for myself, but for others. Now the day has come that God has sent his chosen child, to began the healing process for our nation. And believe my brothers and sisters of every color and creed, there is a new day dawning. I ask only one thing, that you all take whatever burden you may be carrying and cast it to the Father. There will be no more darkness in front of you, and as the light becomes brighter you too will see God's Love for us all. Lift up the Obama Family, for they have a hard task ahead of them. They know that road will not be easy, but they know as well as myself that God did not bring them this far to leave them. I'm so proud to be an American and I pray for our brothers and sisters in other countries that they can just hold out, God is working in their favor as well.

I'm elated to have an African American President, but MOST importantly a President for ALL the people of this great nation!

As a African American female, who until now has seldom if ever been at a loss for words, I find myself swollen with pride, energized with emotion, dizzy with positive passion and an expectation for the future.
This thing has turned me around. In my life I've had cause to be angry with this country. I've experienced all the negative it has had to offer, a recipiant of racism, prejudice and discrimination from fronts imaginable. Now, in a single night, the election of Barack Obama has changed my thoughts on this country in which I live. I am more than hopeful. My thought is: If this country, one of the most racist in the world, can have the foresight and wisdom to elect such a man, then I can once again say that I am proud to be an American and I am proud of America. The entire world be will affected by the rise of Obama, he is global, he is by far the best of the best. He walks in light and everything about him has an infectuous presence of power and ability. Until now God bless America was a request, a prayer......it's been answered, it's been done, we've been blessed by God.

Did you ever stop to think that over the last eight years that the Republicans have controlled the White House, they have the swing vote in the Supreme Court (5-4), and up until almost two years ago you had control of Congress so there is no excuse for you to say that Democrats are baby killers and the Republicans had control of everything and didn't change the law. What is says, is they tell you they are Pro-life but when it comes down to it their actions speak louder than the words you elected them on. So now you can crawl back in your self-righteous moralist little hole where all of the other right wing religious nuts live and continue to spread your hatred and scare tactics. The rest of us will continue to educate ourselves so we can be prepared to tackle the many tasks that lay ahead. Knowledge is the light of the world. Maybe you ought to think about jumping ship to a part of society that allows you to think for yourself instead of being spoonfed all of these lies. This is a democracy and the laws are to be based on universal principle that appeal to the majority not the minority right wing nut cases in society. Christians expect the rest of American to give up on their own thoughts and beliefs and totally adopt the Christian way. I myself am a Christian and believe in Christ as my savior but do we really thing we can expect society to support us in the bashing of radical Muslims when our own philosophy on life is that we are crusaders and if you don't agree with us then we will impose our will on you like it or not.

Noticed that all of the people there at his Anti-White rally were all Black? Beware, these are the "Changes" coming. Osama will legalize and force White women to prostitute to blacks only. Osama will legalize the sale of drugs AND guns to all of the street gangs across the country due to that he will no longer have "Our Military" be in charge. Yes, Osama will bring all of this for those who chose to vote for him!!

Have you even been watching the tv or listening to the radios?????? WELL if you have been you would have seen that there were many white people in the crowds for OBAMA. Actually, I am not surprised at all that some of you would stoop so low because I would not expect you guys to understand. As I told baybay.....ignorance is not an excuse.

Congratulations to President Barrack Obama. I still felt touched when i saw such victory and such love shown by the people of America. America has shown a spirit of Democracy. People get what they want unlike in Uganda where president Museveni has become a cancer in the country. The country has become a source of rebels people are killed every day, People are dying every day breaking of the law is the order of the day starting from him the leader and it has flown to the whole country. ITS no longer for God and my Country but its for my stomach and family. America am so proud to know that there is still democracy in one country. May God bless America and pray for Uganda too for a change

I'm not an American but I feel proud for your country. You all realize that some American still discriminate black and some fight this stigma and you all can freely discuss this. This is better than in some multiracial country where they said and their policy stated that everyone is equal but there is still discrimination. Prime minister and higher level organisation is still dominated by certain ethnic group and probably won't be open to others in the next 10 or 20 years. It is sad when this kind of think happen.

We as the human race need to stick together and work things through. I do know change does not happen over night. But for some people they are just not ready for that change and I do respect you for it but don't you think the name calling the anger you have inside you can be channeled into something better for the community and others around you. Life is short we need to work together and make things right so the children of the future will not struggle as much and are better prepared. One day your eyes will be open and maybe they never will but the choice is yours and I pray you make the right one.

    Signed,
A Human Being (Color does not need to be known to get a point across)

I don't know how more name-calling and hatred and weird rumors can help bring America into a better future. But I do know that being able to see beyond such things as hatred and emotionality to actually HAVE A DISCUSSION will help us become a stronger nation. I'm proud to be an American today, and I offer utmost congratulations to Obama for taking on such heavy burdens.
