MSNBC AND CNN are friggan idiots!!..Who took this poll, abunch of backseat drivers of MSNBC, Oboma pushers and backers????..Fox was the only network that was fair and balanced...If it werent for FOX, McCain wouldnt had got any coverage at all!!
About as boring as it could get
Boring

I was really unhappy to see all these 'projected wins' posted at 8pm eastern time while polls were still open for 3 more hours on the west coast. That just leaves one very poor taste in my mouth when you consider how much that could have influenced voters.
Even before the win, the Today show was gushing over Michelle Obama's similarities to Jackie Kennedy; today they were gushing over the "return of Camelot" and "glamour" to the White House. I've thought for years that there was an unfortunate desire amongst much of the network news establishments (& I include CNN and MSNBC) here ) to rate politicians as much on the glamour factor as on the depth and validity of their political thought. In this campaign I rarely heard anyone truly discuss the philosophical underpinnings of Obama or McCain, or how that would relate to our constitutional government. It was all about appearance and promises.
I hope the main stream media will review themselves and report on the facts and leave the inuendo and sensationalism as well as their opinions out of the mix. This in my opinion made the main stream media and some cable news networks look like they had no education in journalism. Fox was like being at my parents funeral. Very condisending.
As many do, I wish the media would stick to the facts and leave their spin out of the commentary. It is the slight of hand comments at the end of an actual piece of news that always gets me. Stick to the facts or stay quiet!
I hope the main stream media will be responsible enough to get back to real reporting and less sensationalism. But I guess they don't have to anymore their golden boy is in the office and their hard work has paid off. So lets se how the report the "facts" now.
Gee - I wonder why Fox was "funereal"???? They're unfair/unbalance is showing....
Our local station NBC broke away from the local news just as Tom B. was about to announce that Obama went over the top. I had to switch to MSNBC to continue the coverage. What a bunch of cluts at Charolett,N.C. NBC station. Their local news stinks and wheather as well. They thought the local election was more important. If I were Obama, I would tell them to keep their electoral votes
Our local channel NBC cut away just as Tom B. was going to put Obama over the top. How dumb is that???
They thought the local election was more important. Of course Charolett,N.C. NBC station stinks when it comes to news and wheather. Need to replace that whole staff
Social security is socialist, so is Medicare and subsidized rail travel and mail. And of course the whole Congress and Senate just bought about a trillion dollars worth of Banks' debt and AIG insurance.this was bipartisan."Without that there was no alternative.WE ARE BANKRUPT.
don't worry,Socialist Countries are happiest,America ranks 23rd on the happy list..Maybe Obama will change it in his second term, the first will be spent climbing out of a Republican
cesspool
I thought the networks gave out the info to soon. They need to let all the votes get counted before they start " Projecting" the win. That leads people in tobeleaving they won or lost before all the info. is gathered. This is the samething they did during the war. They need to state the facts not there opion or guess!!!
I think that the media in general, papers, magazines and television were biased in their support for Obama from the very beginning of the campain. All I can say is that now that they have elected their man and he has a democratic congress to support him, there can be no excuses coming from either for failing to uphold any and all campaign promises.
Welcome to the United Socialist of America. We should emigrate to the "Democratic" Republic of Russia.

I flipped back and forth between most of them. John King constantly switching his magic little board back and forth from the 2004 election results to last night's results was annoying. The "beamed" Star Wars people was just stupid. Who cares if they beamed them in? Dumb use of technology. Most channels became annoying at some point. Thankfully there was 218 other channels running election coverage to switch back and forth between when the others started to become redundant and annoying.
FOx always look like they have sticks up their rumps! I turned often to MSNBC (especially when Joe Scarborough was not on) and CNN. But I also liked CBS, ABC and NBC who gave more indepth local analysis that was lacking on the cable side. I especially like Katie she was whimisical.
