ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!! We Won!!!!
wow - clever...like all of you posts.
I'd rather be right than clever any day... I continually forget how clever you guys have been in the last eight years... It's too bad.
Yes, most americans are proud of their country all of the time... it's our government and the idiots in charge that we dislike. And, now we have a chance to try something different and all you guys can do is complain. If it doesn't work then get him out next election. You had your chance and you blew it. I am very proud of my country and now I can say I'm proud of those in charge of it.
When the country is crushed and destroyed, you new media folk and you idiots who voted him in will probably be crying the loudest and hardest. Well, to hell with you all and I hope you suffer from your stupid choices.
to hell with you and may you move out of our country...
Playing on white guilt and protest against undeserved hatred of Bush helped push this unqualified, Anti-American, Anti-White socialist into office. Those of us who have "moved past" racism when we were two years old do not feel the need to wax poetic about it. When you tell us that "We" have finally moved on I do not know to whom you speak. Most of us have never judged a man by the content of his character. If you want to speak on behalf of racists, that is fine, but do not lump all of us into that category. My ancestors never owned slaves and fought on the side of the Union during the civil war. I have no white guilt. I judge a man based on the content of his character and Mr. Obama seems to be severly lacking. His terrorist associates, his criminal associates, his belief that people who don't support him are ignorant, his and his wifes view that this country is mean and broken and needs to be "Fundamentally" changed. The only thing proven in this election is that people care more about how a speech is delived than what is said in that speech. Be prepared people for the worst 4 years since Jimmy Carter. But never again let the press and race baiters pick your president. You need to learn the issues before you give a person this much power.
Oh by the way. If you want to talk about lynching...look at what the press did to Sarah Palin. A woma
Can you please tell me what the "content of Barack Obama's character" is?
Sorry sir, the men and women in the military do not want us to continue in Iraq and Afganistan. They do not want to finish what Bush - not they - started. They want to come home. An honorable trip home for sure, but home none the less. Bush/McCain have goals that would take a decade to achieve. It's not worth a decade of fighting to achieve those goals. Our troops know it.
By the way, only officiers vote strongly republican. If you poll the enlisted men (which is most of the armed forces), they back Obama in roughly the same numbers as does the rest of the country.
If your son's 13-year old daughter one day requires a partial-birth abortion, and has the ability to do this without choosing to inform her parents, that says more about her father's questionable parenting skills than the way President Barack Obama will lead the government in this country. Having the right to choose, in terms of abortion, is the most MINOR effect Obama will hopefully have on America. Leave it to a Conservative Republican (from Arizona I might add), to focus not on the most serious issues of economy or healthcare, but on the War in Iraq and partial-birth abortion. This focus is the exact reason why John McCain lost this election. The majority of Americans are clever enough to recognize that change is needed, not to protect our past, stodgy, immovable patriots, but to bring home our troops, recognize that the past eight years have tarnished our country and global reputation, advocate change, and protect our future. In terms of the flag, Obama was surrounded by them last night as he made his speech. He is just as American as you, me, or your 13-year old granddaughter will be. He seeks to unite people to create a better America, not entirely ignore one side of the country the way the Republicans would have, and have, done. His victory does not scare me in the least. It empowers me. It gives me faith that this country will advance and prosper. Reading comments like yours, however, is what truly frightens me. That there could still be such a staunch, immovable section of our nation- although, if last night is any evidence, DECREASING- is the true horror story of the day.

well as a conservative republican i am absolutely sick this morning to think what is going to happen to my country. i dont care whether someone is black orange pink or purple, i care about what they believe in, what they stand for and what i see from Barack Obama is truly truly frightening. It wont be felt today or tomorrow or even next year. The true effects of this will be years in the making. someday my sons 13 yr old daughter will be able to go get a partial birth abortion at 13 yrs old and not even have totell her father. Thats sad. Mark my works, this country did not take a turn for the better last night. The first things to go will be our flag and the national anthem. It breaks my heart to think of all the men and women in the military who cried and raged last night because they know that they will have fought all these years and sacrificed for nothing when he pulls them home before they finish what they need to do.
I have been a VERY TOUGH critic of Barack Obama and although my feelings about him have not changed, I MUST take this opportunity to congratulate him and his supporterts on his HISTORIC WIN! Senator Obama ran an EXCELLENT campaign. I must give him his due props!
I use to blog regularly but I have been sporadic in blogging in the recent weeks in part because I saw clear as day what was coming. And there was no need to continue to knock the man who was going to be elected as President. The truth of the matter is that the McCain camp ran an inept campaign! And it makes no sense. His campaign should have been ready and armed to go after Obama HARD! Instead, He seemed to have made the same mistakes that HIllary made. McCain had won his party's nomination about 3-4 months before Obama won his so that gave McCain SIGNIFICANT time to prepare to annihilate his opponent but for whatever reasons he chose not to. What sense did it make to try to bring up questionable things about Obama a week before the election?
Bottom line, Obama brought his "A" game and McCain brought his "C" game. The "A" gamer won and I CAN NOT hate on that at all!
So soon to be President Obama, CONGRATULATIONS and big ups on your "A" game!I will be praying for the continued safety of you and your family!
