Palin was and is a liar, mostly dumb as a stump, that's why the campaign would not let her speak to the press. The media should do the conuntry a favor and let Katie Couric interview Palin every six months. That way she would not stand a chance in 2012.

Palin is an opportunistic ego maniac who after all this comes out will be villified by the media and republicans. She is white trash who has an engaging personality and looks. McCain was completely clueless as to what was going on. Her future will be finished when all this is examined. Is the going to return all the clothes she purchased. What do you think.

Well, "Truth Be Told," now you know how the rest of us felt in 2000 and 2004. Bush the 43rd bankrupted the country, made a mockery of the Constitution, and waged a war under false pretenses. And his would-be-successor sold out most of his principles and named a joke for his Veep.

From a campaign strategy point of view I don't think Republican party will waste much effort trying to understand what role Sarah Palin played in the campaign's failure.

They really need to ask how a presidential campaign could be allowed to be run so poorly with so many tactical shortcomings. There was tactical genius in the previous 2 Republican campaigns but somehow that was thrown by the wayside by an organization trying to distance itself from the Bush administration.

Meanwhile Obama's campaign leveraged tools like the "project Houdini" mentioned in the article to win all the tactical battles that added up to a strategic victory.

Thing is, it never cease to amaze me how the more time change, the more things stay the same. You have people who are afraid of change just like back in the 60's. People like like Truth_Be_Told and truth will be told, you don't think this country is already screwed up. Where the HELL you been for 8 years? Are you not paying high gas rates, higher food costs and with 2000's wages? As we gave your guy a chance to do whatever it was he done, so shall another man, no matter what the color? Grow up, you may actually get something out of it. I too have a son in Iraq, and my husband is leaving for Iraq in December. I never wanted a war that, by the way, your guy blew out of proportion and started out of false pretenses...

It makes a big difference , did the FBI and SS come to the campaign because O's team reported the hack, or if the contact was independent.
And do they know the vector for infection? Firewall breech, email click, or manual by a volunteer. Sounds like a rootkit with keylogger.

The election is over. Can all the political bashing please just end and let us finally put our country first as Americans, rather than as members of a political party? It is time to move forward, not look back. We've got serious problems that need real solutions and we must call come together to solve them. I love how the people who reified George W, Bush for the past 8 years and went along cheering blindly while he led the country down the crapper are now calling Obama supporters "Kool-Aid drinkers." Pray tell us how Obama could possible "turn us into a Communist state" and why - given the fact that he's become leader of the most powerful nation on Earth by participating in its current political system - he would want to. This kind of Philistine pig-ignorant commentary is unfortunately all too common among those who are so viscerally opposed to Obama. Try actually engaging your brain and forming an intelligent thought before spewing such garbage in a public forum.

George Soros finally got what he wanted! I have a feeling that his influence is going to extend well beyond the campaign stage. Everybody was touting what a great campaign Obama was running. But he wasn't running it. It was running him. With enough money you can buy anything. You can buy extreme order. George Soros is going to continue coddling Obama through his presidency to make him look good. He will likely be in contact with foreign leaders, buying their cooperation and easing their fears. George Soros likely bought Obama an Army of advisors to answer any and all questions. Remember Soros is the financial genious that made his money off of the securities markets. He may have even had a hand in crashing the stock market to favor the Democrats just before the election. There is no way that the most unqualified presidential candidate in history got to where he did without such massive help. Some have speculated that after Obama won the Presidency that the media would turn on him and the honeymoon would be over but there is a broader agenda. Soros is buying up all of these newspapers that are endorsing Obama which is an attempt at Socialist propaganda state. He will likely retain his control over the large media networks as well. What is
the price for stoking Obama's ego? An agenda that makes George Soros the grand puppet master of planet Earth!
