Wow! Very intoxicating, powerful stuff. I am devoted to Barack Obama/Joe Biden. But this is what TV movies are made of!! Doesn't change my mind, though.

Look at all the Kool-Aid drinkers. Obama created the spell, passed the cup, and they all fell for it. There are two governing bodies in Washington that have to vote on all of his socialist wish lists. They are dead ducks for re-election if they turn us in to a Communsist state.

This just goes to show how ignorant aides and other govenment support people are about computer security. Of course someone got hacked! the Government is so lazy and cheap they forego any type of computer security as it might upset the user! In this day of personal information avaialble online (amongst other things) the Government needs to pull their head out of the sand and do the right thing to protect our country and it's information. You can't plug the leak with your finger so WAKE-UP!

Obama Quotes, this what we have to look forward to:

From ???The Audacity Of Hope, ???I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.???
From The Audacity Of Hope, ???We are no longer just a Christian nation,??? ???We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.???

From Dreams of My Father, ??? I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER???S RACE???.

From ???Dreams of my Father???, ???The emotion between the races could never be pure???.. the other race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart.???

    From ???Dreams of My Father???,
???I ceased to advertise my mother???s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites???

From Dreams Of My Father, ???never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn???t speak to my own. It was into my father???s image, the black man, son of Africa, that I???d packed all the attributes I sought in myself..???.

    From Dreams Of My Father:
???That hate hadn???t gone away,??? he wrote, blaming ???white people ??? some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.???

    From Dreams Of My Father;
???There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs,??? he wrote. ???It remained necessary to prove which side you were on,to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names???

From Dreams Of My Father, ???I had grown accustomed, everywhere, to suspicions between the races.???

      Debunks:

Did Obama write that he would stand with the Muslims and that he nurses a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity toward whites:

This just goes to show the lack of knowledge the government has with regards to safegaurding electronic information. Inbetween the non educated aides and other non-computer literate people in the government of course hackers are going to get this type of information. The U.S. Government is so lazy and cheap that they would rather forego any type of computer security than inconvienence users. I say wake up and see the personal information leaking you're not going to plug it with your finger.

The Palin story is hilarious! It explains why Palin was saying that all she bought was a few suits for the convention. In fact, that's all her handlers told her she could buy. Obviously Palin really resented those McCain handlers, and who wouldn't resent folks who were dissing you as a "Wasilla hillbilly." OMG....and the Republican Party still thinks she may be a viable candidate somewhere down the line? Lord, help us, I hope they lock up their valuables......and my tax money too. You think GB left us with a debt it may take years to dig out from under.....just wait until Sarah gets her hands on the checkbook!

Hey, don't knock it, if we are really lucky, maybe the Religican Party will troop out the Wasilla freak in 2012 and grease the ways for Borac's reelection.

Everyone is so interested in the "gossip" about Palin in a "towel", her shopping and all that silliness...what about the way her intentional agitation of crowds increased the threats on Sen. Obama! At the time, that was the part that was most disturbing to me, and to hear it substantiated almost makes me think limits should be imposed on how far a candidate can go with the character bashing and character defamation of their opponent. I think THIS is the thing Gov. Palin should be held accountable for, and THIS should be the telling defining act that she is remembered for! Not her greedy little "shopping spree"! (...although that DOES also show how phoney, narcissistic and shallow Palin apparently IS!) But we???re taking about putting a man???s LIFE in jeopardy here! Does no one care about THAT? Does on one care about the additional stress this caused Michelle Obama and his family? That is unforgivable and should not be taken so lightly!

    • Posted By: notunderage @ 11/05/2008 7:21:43 PM

Well said. Hate mongering should not be tolerated.

  • Posted By: Jim C @ 11/05/2008 7:18:43 PM

"a sharp and disturbing increase in threats to Obama in September and early October, at the same time that many crowds at Palin rallies became more frenzied."

Correlation is NOT causation. The last clause is blatant propaganda and just what we've come to expect from the "news" media.

"Michelle Obama was shaken by the vituperative crowds and the hot rhetoric from the GOP candidates. 'Why would they try to make people hate us?' Michelle asked a top campaign aide."

    1) That assumes the GOP candidates have to TRY. Her and her husband's own statements and actions are sufficient in themselves.

    2) She herself thinks America is "essentially mean". For her to expect less than disapproval or worse is outright dishonest.

When oh WHEN is the GOP or McCain campaign going to reveal their plan for doing something GOOD with Sarah Palin's outlandish wardrobe - not to mention the clothes that were bought for her children and husband? When the story broke, didn't they say all of the clothes would be sold at a consignment store, with the profits donated to charity? Can we rely on NEWSWEEK to pursue this story?

    • Posted By: Physicsmom @ 11/05/2008 6:58:57 PM

While she should definitely divest herself of the clothes purchased for her and Todd, I think she should pony-up the money for the kids' clothes, repay the campaign and let the children enjoy their new duds. They did nothing wrong.

And...you are trying to report in an unbiased manner? Let's begin please to nit-pick all of the male presidential candidates' expenses of the past...I am sure you will find many unfavorable surprises. This kind of reporting is frankly sad, especially when you try to somehow make an issue about Palin not speaking at Mccain's concession speech...how many vice-presidential nominees have spoken at concession speeches in the past? And at acceptance speeches?...Because Joe Biden didn't seem to have been invited to utter a word... Give it a rest already!

    • Posted By: pettmel @ 11/05/2008 6:12:44 PM

Isn't the point that she was trying to use the stage to further her own political ambitions? In other words she asked to do something unprecedented and had to be told "No"...

  • Posted By: trisha08 @ 11/05/2008 12:56:19 PM

Yet the GOP keeps talking about Palin as the future of their party. Huh???????????? She is such a liar.

    • Posted By: CathyVV @ 11/05/2008 6:01:59 PM

Forget the consignment shop. The clothes should be auctioned and the proceeds donated to a food bank. There are lots of people who can't afford food right now, here in America. If there are no buyers, and I doubt that will be the case, then send the clothes to a consignment shop.

While everybody was busy celebrating, do you realize the House rejected a bill for another stimulus package? CNN mentioned it for all of two seconds. They did this because they think we don't notice. We should all be super pissed. PLEASE write or email officials and tell them we need a stimulus check.
You can email Nancy Pelosi at http://speaker.house.gov/contact/
    Governor Janet Napolitano: http://www.governor.state.az.us/Contact.asp
    CA Congressman George Radanovich http://radanovich.house.gov/Contact/email.htm
    Hillary Clinton: http://www.hillaryclinton.com/help/contact/
By the way I wrote to John Shadegg (AZ) complaining about the bailout bill and I got an email from him "assuring" me it was the right thing to do.

<em>Palin asked to speak along with McCain at his Arizona concession speech Tuesday night, but campaign strategist Steve Schmidt vetoed the request.</em>

That appears to be the only smart move Schmidt made the entire campaign.

I have been a VERY TOUGH critic of Barack Obama and although I feelings about him have not changed, I MUST take this opportunity to congratulate him and his supporterts on his HISTORIC WIN! Senator Obama ran an EXCELLENT campaign. I must give him his due props!

I use to blog regularly but I have been sporadic in blogging in the recent weeks in part because I saw clear as day what was coming. And there was no need to continue to knock the man who was going to be elected as President. The truth of the matter is that the McCain camp ran an inept campaign! And it makes no sense. His campaign should have been ready and armed to go after Obama HARD! Instead, He seemed to have made the same mistakes that HIllary made. McCain had won his party's nomination about 3-4 months before Obama won his so that gave McCain SIGNIFICANT time to prepare to annihilate his opponent but for whatever reasons he chose not to. What sense did it make to try to bring up questionable things about Obama a week before the election?

Bottom line, Obama brought his "A" game and McCain brought his "C" game. The "A" gamer won and I CAN NOT hate on that at all!

So soon to be President Obama, CONGRATULATIONS and big ups on your "A" game!I will be praying for the continued safety of you and your family!

That is a really kind email. It's important that we all unite and move forward as a nation.
As a die-hard Obama supporter, I appreciate your positive words.
