How He Did It

First off I'd like to say it's a wonderful thing for America to have our first African American President. However I'm very ashamed at the American People that they chose a man who isn't a Christian, who doesn't stand for God which let me remind you is what this country was found on. Without GOD we wouldn't be here nor have the things we have. Our country is in great danger having Obama as our President of the United States! Those of you that are Christians and voted for him...Shame on you! Anyone can promise anything but if they don't have morals then their not looking out for your best interest. Let me say to you Christians/believer's in or Lord Jesus Christ you better get on your knees and pray, pray that God will interveen Obama and steer him in God's direction so he can lead us in the right direction! If you don't have morals and God what do you have? Nothing! Christians you better keep your faith in God or else you will suffer and you will be held accountable as to why you voted for Obama. This has nothing to do with religion but for what you believe! I'm very ashamed to read the ignorance in your comments...let's not scream at one another and GET BACK TO GOD!

Like I said there is no reason to speculate why oboma won it is because normally only 25% of minorities vote and since there was a minority running about 90% got off their welfare ass and voted. That is the one and only reason he won. They didnt even care what he stood for or know if he believed in the god that has kept our nation safe.

I have no doubt whatsoever that John McCain LOVES this country, no doubt at all. But he would not have been a symbol. He would have been just another president. At this time, this country, this planet needs a symbol. A positive symbol. The election results lend proof to that need. Obama was elected because of who he is, not what he is. Not because he is a Democrat (too many Independents and Republicans alike voted for him for that to carry him). He was not elected because he is non-white (too many non-blacks voted for him for that to be the case either). He was elected because he is a leader. A leader in the way MLK and JFK were. They inspired. As an American you have two choices: You either BELIEVE things will and can get better or you do not believe. Belief is how it all begins. Belief affects the choice of whether or not to try harder in school even when dropping out would be easier. Belief affects the choice to keep looking for that job you so desperately need even though you have been looking for over a year. It is the belief that what you do MATTERS that makes you choose to be kinder to your countrymen and countrywomen even when they anger or disappoint you. That is how a nation starts to heal all of its hurts. One person at a time. President Obama will have the help of Congress and the support of experts like Warren Buffet and Colin Powell to help tackle the fine details of foreign and economic policy. Most of the time he will be behind closed doors in meetings with the brightest minds of our time crunching the numbers and push the limits of what is possible. But only Barack Obama, and Obama alone, will be the FACE of our leadership. He is just the president and as such he will not have magical powers. He will be subject to the same limitations as the presidents before him. But unlike George Bush, he WILL be a president that acts as a constant reminder that change starts with a BELIEF in change (not just the hope for it) and that change MUST start with a positive belief in ourselves. For all those who would criticize, I ask you, as an American, to remember this.

It's impossible to compare Obama to anything previous. We have proven to the rest of the world that we actually do live in a REAL democracy where the people's vote has been measured. Conservative God fearing Republicans have a sense of entitlement. That's where the anger comes from. It's all white noise and jealousy. These are new days and fresh times. In a hundred years I bet you'll see Barack's face on the five dollar bill...
