Morris, Matelin, Hume, Rove, Delay, Barnes and ahost of Fox affiliated "contributors" who possess no redeeming qualities. How can the Republicans follow them? Do they share the hate? Is it the phony issue of abortion that they trot out every election and then shelve until the next election? What on earth can they be thinking?

We are going to get what we deserve. We voted an egotistical maniac into office. Do you trust your car salesman, cuz that is what you are going to get. I cannot wait till the "new" wears off and people see the empty shell under all of the rhetoric. All of the ideas Osama Obama has have been tried in Europe and Russia, they do not work, never have, never will yet he is such an egotistical maniac that he thinks he can make them work!!!! We all know people that are book smart, can talk a good game but do not have a lick of experience or common sense, that is what we have done to our country, elected a booksmart moron.

As for being "socialis,t" that was a joke, because both Democrat and Republican parties have had so-called "socialist" components for many, many years, but neither have what is socialist in the sense of communist governments have. As for terrorists, most voters recognized that for what it was: ridiculous! Most of us who have been to college or university (unless it is a Christian school) have come across an old grizzly revolutionary or two. Obama is the right age to have been taught by a few. Just because he took a class with them, or taught on campus with them or served on a committee funded by a wealthy REPUBLICAN and served with other REPUBLICANS at the same time doesn???t make him a terrorist. After all, the REPUBLICAN chose the terrorist for the committee, too. Rather than believing everything you hear, check the urban legend and fact check web sites to verify information. That stuff they were saying inflamed crowds and got the crazies riled up and could have gotten Obama badly hurt. That was irresponsible and very unchristian behavior out of supposed Christians. Well now how do we ask Americans of African dissent to Pledge Allegiance to the flag when the flag doesn't pledge of allegiance to them. Black Americans can use asylum refugee status to leave America just as all those people use it to come to America. 1. Go to prison for political reason (Debtor prison system) 2. Deny the right to vote (Eventhough Obama won we still had Civil Rights Violations) 3. Poor education system 4. Last hired first fired) 5. Can't leave the country because of Civil Passport restrictions 6. Denied a driver license 7. Facist system (Have you tried to build something lately) 8. Pay disapportionate taxes 9. Live in environmental racism (toxic dumps, electrical power plants) 10. Denied or no health insurance 11. Insurance Companies refuse to pay claims 12. Police profiling and pretext stops 13. Road blocks set-up in black neighborhoods (Sounds like Nazi Germany, huh) 14. Appointed Judges give heavy hand for minor offenses 15. Two separate and distinct judicial systems 16. All of our Culture have been stripped without compensation (Ebonics) 17. We are called something we are not on birth certificates (Negro-I didn't come from Negroland) 18. Constitution labels me as 3/5 of a man 19. Harmful drugs are peddle to black neighborhood to destroy us 20. Unaccredited Schools 21. U.S propaganda has hurt Americans of black dissent abroad 22. This is just a sample of the BS America has done to Americans of black dissent.
Now tell me this is the same sh__t that people come to America for. I don't hear any of those country speaking out against these things that happen to Americans of black dissent. It's like the whole world is conspiring against Americans of black dissent.

The socialist and terrorist attacks did not work because they weren't true. Any urban legend or fact check web site will tell you that. "Spread the wealth" was from the bottom up-us the people, not top down, the same old trickle down economics that never trickled down to us. Instead of posting negative comments about our new President why don???t you start doing research on where the best place to relocate is, and while doing that, look up the definition of a free country-you may find this useful, for where NOT to relocate!
Get used to having a democrat as President. Obama won this election, and he will win again in 2012. He will pave the way for other democrats to win that seat. This is a new era, get used to it because you won???t be seeing a republican office for a very LONG time??????.

Great summation, if the Republicans fail to get their priorities in order, the country will remain a predominantly BLUE one for many years to come. Our nation has become a much more diverse one, and no future candidate for President can win without capturing more than their party's electoral base. Those days ended with the election of Barack Obama as our nation's 44th President. God Bless America

In the same piece -- actually, within the same couple sentences -- with a prediction that that we will look back on history as "before Obama" and "after Obama." Do you realize just how illogical, even stupid, that sounds? A broomstick in a suit with a Democratic Party lapel pin had a good shot at winning this election. Obama merely needed $650 million, plus the suit, to pull it off. And you are talking about demarcating American political history in Christ-like terms (and i'm not Christian, so don't dismiss me as some fundamentalist Dem-hater). Mr. Meachem, take a breath, and consider the notion that history might be more focused on how Mr. Obama performs in office before 11/4/08 becomes a political holy day.
