Birthday1971!!!If you read carefully. Everyone on this website posting comments calling Obama first black president. He is not a black president. He is half white and half black. and according to most people leaving comments here. They keep calling him a black president. What happen his mother doesn't count anymore. He is from a white mother. Yes he is intelligent, no doubt about that, but I was giving my opinion about his time in congress. I am not a racist and just like you I am not from America. I am concerned at what I see coming from fellow believers in Christ. It seems you have all forgotten the scriptures that tell us that no one moves into leadership unless God says so as well as the ones that instruct us to pray for our leaders, no matter who they are. Unity is what God is seeking; Division, backbiting, slander and ridicule are not words that come from God but out of a sinful, unrepentant, angry heart. The Words of God promote healing, mercy, kindness and most of all love towards one another despite our differences. As Believers in God the creator, our Father in Heaven, we have an obligation to obey His Word, if we are truly His, that is. I personally do not agree with many things that happen in this country, the leaders and those who govern but I support the men and women that are in those positions because of the favor they have received from God the Father to be where they are for His purposes and His purposes alone. I am not qualified to judge others who are outside the Church and limited in judgment upon those within. Judgment is Gods and His alone as is vengeance. I trust Him. He will bring justice where justice is due and He will be Glorified. He has promised us that "If My people will humble themselves and pray then I will hear and I will heal their land." Perhaps we need to spend a lot more time seeking His ways and will, doing as He instructs, preferring one another above ourselves and exhibiting His love toward others and less time with foolish controversies. Just a thought for us all to consider, myself included.

What the HELL! Its so hilarious how insane and blind people can truly be when they only look through the rose colored glasses handed to them for a race they couldn't pick! For all the nutjobs who believe that the little pennies they delve out to the poor through taxes for the welfare they receive has really hurt their pockets, I feel sorry for you truly. Obama got elected because he is new and fresh and primed ready to really prepare America for not only change but true unity that can only be defined by all Americans getting a fair shake not just Catholic White Anglo-Saxons who came over here on a boat just like the rest of our ancestors. Hillary got what she deserved because she could not keep her story straight and if you call that smart, well ok! Oh by the way, if you think most folks are depending on the government to take care of them than you are more ignorant than usual. And also, Obama is not racist by any means, I voted for him because I know he includes everybody including Whites. Why should the public be patient with Obama?! He mouthed a bunch of campaign promises now he better deliver! Why give him any more "rope" than the press or any Democrat EVER gave the Republican administration! I don't doubt that he will do a good job but DO NOT give him a free pass!

Who cares if he is a Christian or not - whatever happened to the separation between church and state? If the separation was real, we wouldn't have such hurdles with aboriton, gay marriage, etc. When religious views color civic duty and social responsibility it turns into a huge mess and the real issues are not addressed. I can't believe all the money that was raised for and against Prop 8. Give that money to supplement teachers' salaries or help out the folks with mortgage woes. I think Obama will be the catalyst to help us get real about what is important and what is worth fighting for.

Now we have heard all the rethorisc and are waiting for actions.

I just love it here and I won't leave this country coz I still have a mission to blast the Dem supporters who elected this zero. It's my turn to mock, bash, and demonize him like what they did to Bush. Serves them right. So I can't wait to witness his incompetence and I will laugh with America's enemies and point at him.
There is NOTHING admirable or respectable about his rise to power. He BOUGHT the presidency.

America deserves a President Obama. America deserves to become a poor, socialist country.
That is the change I can believe in.
