    It's sad to see the man won fair and square and some can't face it! One member here made a comment about Obama got elected because he was black??? Why would you say that when you seen the totals of the electorial votes! It was a sweep and you say it was because of color! See this is why i felt Mccain would be a bad choice. We need to getover this divison of people! Some people say their not racist etc but look mainly at the skin color than the person.

    Obama is representing whites and blacks and not just blacks! Some whites feel Obama will do more for blacks though how do you think they might of felt for years??? We can not assume a thing! For a man to inspire many, white,black,asian,native american,latino, as well as the rest of the world says something! i never seen people so happy for a President since JFK! So people will feel the way they feel but give the man a chance first before you judge him! He won because of all people not just blacks who are a minority but all people united! That's why McCain lost! He did not show in some of his rallies a united people! To hear the comments some people made make what Rev Wright said look like childsplay! McCain also was right there while the crowd utter hateful things! Obama was not there while Rev. Wright said his comments about some americans. Also I don't understand why what he said would bother some whites?? If your not racist how would that offend you??? If your not part of the KKK then it should not Offend you. I can only see the statement of him blaming america for 911 offensive because many people have died because of hate! This is as bad as racism!

    As for member jackass comment about Opra's money, she earned it and can do whatever she please with it! McCain wife is rich also, so your point??? As for the poor comment?? Evryone can be poor! Get a life and a clue! Things like this is why people say racism still exist!

Just think what a good idea it would be if we were allowed to live our own lives, experience real liberty and pursue our own happiness without scrutinization by others; now that something that sounds like a new good idea ... oh wait! That's what it says somewhere in some famous document, i believe, from the founding fathers of THIS country. Perhaps you should MYOB and not be so judgemental. Maybe try fiber; you may be a better person for it.

      You obviously have no idea what a Communist society is. Save the rhetoric for the next election. And invest in some education that teaches you about types of political and economic systems. It is painful to see such ill-informed comments. We are a democracy. Bush did everything he could to reduce our democracy, our rights and our economy to rubble. Did you complain when he turned this country into a pluitocracy? I doubt it....(get a dictionary - it will explain what that is).

    Wow reading through these comments makes me realize that dreams of being a completely united nation are hopeless. Whatever happened to a united nation under God???
    So I voted for McCain and am really sad that he didn't win. I'm scared about the future of my nation but I have to except that God is the one that is ultimately in controll so we must let go.

    I have no problem with the race or skin color of Obama,I can see that he is well educated,and seems to genuinly care for the people of this country! I also believe that anyone using race in any context,pro or con,is a racist in their own right! Mcain is also a good man who cares about this country! My only concerns in this presidentry is that now that a black man has been voted in,is who will try to capitalize and corrupt the president! During this election we havent heard much from people like jessie jackson or Al Sharpin! I have to wonder why? But I dont! They have stayed in the sidelines,out of sight and mind so they would not rock the boat! These men,so they say stand for god and civil rights!But we know thats a lie! When those colledge students were being accused of raping a black woman,Both of these men were outraged! Willing to do whatever it takes to prosicute those boys! And if they were guilty? Then rightfully so! But when the truth came out about the case! These men offered up no apologies,reguardless of the permanant damage to the character of these kids!These frauds of the faith and false seekers of justice! Are the only concerns that I have,because I believe that the hate and injustice that they produce have only kept blacks and whites from coming together! As long as obama keeps them at a distance or other groups that hold the same one sided views on life! I think we will all stop hating! And the world will be a better place for everyone!

    we were told today that 20 percent of the 700billion bailout money has been given to the executives of the companies that fubar-ed our countries finances. I have never given a bonus for doing a bad job thats what walmart applications are for.

American citizens have been held without benefit of the rights guaranteed by our Constitution, simply because Bush calls someone an "enemy combatant."
