since the economy sucks right now we need less government and no new taxes for anyone we need to let businesses have a break to keep people employed we need a freeze on government wasteful spending we need to create new jobs not more welfare we need to stand up and punish senators and congressmen if they take bribes we need to drill now for our own future and not for arab countries my beleif is yes maybe wars are a bad thing for us to fight maybe we need to build a fence around our own borders and just forget about the rest of the worlds problems for our own sake but to think this way would only put us like china was for years a secluded sleeping nation I think the best way out is make goernment smaller and let each state have more control of their problems and maybe we need to cut the senate and congress in half for starters then maybe things would work out!

There is no Republican party! A group of thugs used the evengical church and the evangical church used the thugs. The party or whoever need to take another look at their platform. With twice the electorals and 5 million more popular votes should make you realize the evangical church is out of business. There's going to be a lot of church'es losing their tax-exempt status, next election cycle!

I am kinda glad obama can lead his party to the dumps now and republicans can recoop for 2012 and come back stronger with a real canidate for president that will speak on the facts and not stay behind a brick wall and be afraid of what will happen if he speaks out! The U.S. Navy didn't think he was worthy of additional duties, the republican party has kept him away from the ticket since the 80's, and if it wasn't for a rich, young blonde in AZ, he still might have made the aluminum siding sales team in, maybe Florida. Let's face it, the guy was a throw away as far as the party was concerned. We're not going to win any way, run him so we don't have to mess with him anymore and won't be embarrassed by him in office. Obama stands head and shoulders above McCain in every category except age.
