Back From the Dead

I don't really appreciate how this article takes the side of Obama as opposed to McCain. Even though I am a young adult and do not have the privilege to vote, I have been fully aware of how both, Obama and McCain approach each issue facing our society today. Therefore it is completely unfair to say how bad McCain's campaign was. His campaign was brilliant. In the end Obama did pull out as the winner because his campaign proved to be stronger. But criticizing John McCain's campaign is not the answer. He would have made SUCH a better president than Obama will ever be. McCain knows what it truly means to be a patriot and proud of your country. I always talk about how back during the American Revolution, there was a string of about 5 presidents who became presidents because of the great things they accomplished. People nominated and voted for them not because they had too, but because their actions screamed out to the new nation what they were capable of. Today, it is merely a crapshoot. We nominate people not because of the things they've done, but the promises of what they will do. We vote for candidates even if we do not fully agree with their approach to government or on certain issues. We vote to support our parties, democratic and republicans. Pertaining to this election and what i just described, clearly pertains to McCain not Obama. McCain is a war hero. He has gone through pain that is unimaginable and has stood up for what he believes in. Being a prisoner of war for 5 and a half years and surviving, is a true definition of a leader and a hero. He then joined the Senate to make a difference and has been one of the most influential senators in history serving for over 3 decades. Obama? Nothing. Sarah Palin, VP candidate has more credentials than Obama. How could you have not voted for McCain? The reason truly baffles me. WOMANINKC below me, i could not agree with you more.

McCain and his advisers put on what might be the worst campaign in my lifetime. Absolutely no energy. No enthusiasm. Absolutely no reason to vote FOR him as opposed to against Borama. Just a pitiful display.

Yet another example of the real reason Obama won - the media's blind love affair with Obama because of his charisma and their smear campaign against McCain, who has proven himself to be a true patriot.

ahs2007 Many many people feel the same way you do...my mailman and my window cleaner this morning were very disappointed, on the verge of despair I should say, angry and afraid of what Obama will do. These feelings are based on the ideology which came forth from Obama's rethoric, but also from the lack of transparency he has demonstrated throughout the campaign. Obama has been very very secretive with the







American people, in away that makes you doubt his

I am appalled at the racial comments here. All ethnic groups voted for Obama as a majority. Stop playing into the comfort of weakness that comes with racial issues. NO EXCUSES ANYMORE! Republicans are not racists. If the liberal side would support the candidate they put in office instead of attacking Republicans, they may stand a 5% chance of surviving these four years. My goodness, we need McCain too!

I feel sorry for people who have been blinded by Obama's rhetoric. During the campaign, he fronted himself as a moderate. Look at his record and the people he has associated with all his life and you'll see a man that is radical, bordering on socialist (he grew up with a family that believed in socialist ideologies). I am truly afraid of what Obama might do to our constitution/country with the support he has in Congress and who he will eventually appoint to the Supreme Court. Although, I hope he proves me wrong, the way he has lived his life does not provide me with much hope.

That was so rude for you to call her out of her name and the fact of the matter is that the facts are what is important, look at this with a open mind, if for some reason there were no TV or newpaper and all we were depending on was the radio, no descriptions were given of the candidates and you heard what plans both candidates had to offer, you woulod see a campaign based on growth and securing a future and one based on negativity and keeping the rich rich, You have to be honest good outweighs bad on any day. If you are concerned about your kids and there future then you would be concered about who is going to be able to help pit your child through college if that is the plan for them, you would get on the net and look at the tax plan that would be availible for your family and know you may be able to give those kids the family vacation they always wan't. It is time for change and the plan to make it happen was Barack's, the facts always rule and the fact is he is planning to keep our elderly secure, the working people back to a middle class status and not a working poor status and he is making sure that when our kids reach great heights and need just a little more than what that scholarship may provide that there is money there. Look at the facts and be prepared for America to heal!

congratulation to Barack Obama and bye to John McCain ! Barack Obama has such charisma u know.! hope US will move forward with big growth and taking us a big step forward.

THE ONLY REASON OBAMA WON BECAUSE HE SAID THE RIGHT THINGS AT A TIME REPUBLICAN GOVERMENT WAS IN TERMOIL AND THEY ARE TIRED OF BUSH AND REPUBLICANS AND IT DOESN'T MATTER IF OBAMA DOES THE THINGS HE SAYS OR NOT PEOPLE JUST WANTED TO HEAR THAT B.S. IM SO INFURTATED.

ooooo, here is something for you "Truth and beauty", i am full out, born and raised in AMERICA! i know english very well, and its people like you that will bring this country down. You voted for Obama, and now, just wait and see, you will be the one who will think "oh my god, what did i do?" as for me, i voted for the man who knows our country and knows how to help it. and you say, I DONT MAKE SENSE! at least i voted for someone who knows alittle bit about this country! not someone who doesnt have a clue!!!
