with the refference of state's economy,
    a tremendous change is imminent,

as for as peace is concerned,
    it is also expected in the areas as undermentioned;

    Fghanistan,
    Iraq,
    Pakistan,
    Palestine/Israel,
tens relations would be converted into fruitfull ties with Iran,
but it would take some time.

In response to the Polish gentleman, Mr Michal Kobosko, I would like to point out, that there should not be a need for the anti-missile shield in the region of Poland. I must add as a rejoinder to Mr Takashi Yokota, that it is imperative that Japan engage North Korea in genial diplomatic communication. It is not in anyone's interest, if Japan and North Korea are not on good terms, or if North Korea antagonizes her neighbors.

We are getting a clearer picture of Obama each day, especially in the foreign policy arena. It points to arrogance, weakness, and dishonesty:

Obama met with Iraq's Maliki in July 2008 and began or tried to negotiate with him BEFORE he was president.

In July 2008, at the same time the Bush administration was negotiating a still elusive agreement to keep the U.S. military in Iraq, OBAMA TRIED TO CONVINCE IRAQI LEADERS IN PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS THAT THE CURRENT PRESIDENT, GEORGE W. BUSH, SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO ENACT THE DEAL WITHOUT CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL.

A few weeks before the Nov. 4 election Obama threw conservative reporters off of his plane.

In October 2008 VP candidate Joe Biden predicted an international crisis would be staged in 2009 to test Obama after he became president, and predicted that people in the U.S. would not like the way Obama handles it. FIRST TIME IN KNOWN HISTORY THAT A VP CANDIDATE HAS MADE SUCH A PREDICTION ABOUT HIS PRESIDENTIAL RUNNING MATE.

On Nov. 8, 2008, President-elect Barack Obama's private conversation with Poland's president created an international disagreement, with President Lech Kaczynski saying Obama promised to continue a missile-defense system and the transition office saying the Democrat made no such commitment.

This one of the rare occassions when the people all over the world became thrilled to hear that Mr.Obama has been elected to the President of United States of America. In normal circumstance it is an American Event but as the world is passing through turmoil the stake of the world population became huge. Everyone feels that only a new President can help improve the situation. We are aware that it is not an easy task to fulfil the expectation of Americans and people outside. But once US learns to feel that they are part of the world and peace and prosperity outside will affect them too. US and it's president is the leader of the free world and we wish him Godspeed and best luck.

What Obama means for the world:

Europe hopes Obama wont drag us into more American wars

Russia hopes Obama will stop the encirclement, missile shield and aggression against Russia

South America hopes that they can unite more without American sabotage or agrassion against Venezuela or Bolivia

Middle East hopes that Obama will restrict himself to not bombing more than 4 countries there, and no more invasions

China hopes that Obama wont view their progress as a threat to America and avoid aggression

Mr Kobosko certainty does not know what he is talking about,: just week before elections he published racist article suggesting that only black.poor undereducated will vote for Obama , and two weeks before that Newsweek Polska proclaimed that " The God Is Republican".It is amazing how fast people change opinion: no wonder Mr Kobosko is classic example of former slave mentality :<< kiss up,kick down>> .
No to mention that McCain support in Poland was higher than in any European country,

"changing the way the entire world system works" What-Who-When-How-where-Why ! Seems to be difficult answers. Anyway without Ethics in the middle, there will be no chance to change...
The world must agree to the predominance of the common good over individual welfare, and accept that irational or harmful action on the part of some organizations during the course of their development, can become a Sword of Damocles that could jeopardize the world order and pose a genuine threat to community.
We need MBS, but the good, not the bad nor the ugly.

I don't think it will be very difficult for Obama to enjoy the world's good will. All he has to do is change the current policy of treating our allies as vassals, and not act like the rest of the world somehow must do whatever we say.

    • Posted By: 40YearR @ 11/07/2008 12:11:25 PM

Yep. It will be easier to act on their disposition toward working with us if we stop treating them as vassals, as you say, and if we stop scaring them. Offense engenders resentment. Fear yields opposition. Someone pointed out below that their interest in our election reflects their favor toward America.

I was a little surprised last night to see on TV showing the celebration of Obama victory in Kenya, the crowd carried a big American flag upside down. I wonder if they want to send the message 'God dame America', like Rev. Wright often said in his church.

    • Posted By: whatisreal? @ 11/06/2008 1:36:09 PM

Maybe they saw one of your friends with their flag pin upside down and thought that is how it should be. Maybe they were so happy they did not even know it was like that. But no matter, your rhetoric is that of somebody who lost, somebody who is governed by fear and really is part of a generation of the past. It does not work, it is a joke and roaches run from the light.

      • Posted By: NStuff2 @ 11/07/2008 10:50:12 AM

For your edification when a countries flag is raised upside down it symbolized that the adversary has defeated them???????????????????????????It???s a symbol Military uses check your facts

        • Posted By: Doc Howl @ 11/07/2008 12:03:13 PM

Wrong. An upside down flag is a distress symbol.

    • Posted By: Doc Howl @ 11/07/2008 10:22:40 AM

Whatever would give you that impression? Fact is, the world still does care what America does...they'd be fools not to. The fact that they are happy that a given candidate was elected tells us that it isn't America they hate, just the occasion president that thinks the rest of the world belongs to us.

    • Posted By: austin c @ 11/06/2008 7:05:33 PM

I would call those who does not know what is the right side of the America flag IDIOT, no matter they are Kenyan or not , and our president-elect should not visit any country if the people there tend to habitually hang or hold our America flag upside down.

    • Posted By: J.Richter @ 11/06/2008 10:01:51 AM

Some people will forever remain negative. These are those that hold the human race back and they exist in every country. Wright is not Kenyan and has never been there. Every citizen of the world is suddenly supposed to know how to orient our flag. Said blogger probably has no clue what the flag of Kenya looks like less know which side is up or down.

Ummmmmmmm. Two years after the first Trade Center attack all those involved were tried, convictedand imprisoned.

Clinton also dispatched the US military more than any other president.

    Learn some history, goober.

  • Posted By: pezled @ 11/07/2008 7:48:53 AM

The bottom line is it's none of "the world's" business who we choose for president of the United States. I don't care what the rest of the world thinks. I don't think that I have any reason to say who should be president or prime minister of other countries. We should pick our president for us, and if the rest of the world doesn't like it --- well then they can stop coming here in droves to immigrate.

"I don't care what the rest of the world thinks."
I think one of the things we've just witnessed is a landslide rejection of this narrow-minded (and arrogant) view. Plenty of Americans do want to be a members of the world community. This whole longing for America to remain stuck in the 19th century lies in a shrinking segment of the public, thank . The tactics we've seen-- saying some parts of the country are "the real Amrerica"; asclaiming that America must look just like Joe the plumber; calling Obama a terrorist/socialist/elitist/to show he's not "one of us"-- have been rejected. TheYour notion of "us" may be a thing of the past. Please join the rest of us in 21st century America.

" I don't care what the rest of the world thinks. "

Yeah, totally isolating ourselves from the world will never bite us in the ass, right?

The president-elect, the 44th President of the great Nation of the United States will do and accomplish ONLY what is possible within his time as president. I am not sure he will move too far way from accomplishing whatever he will, within the American scope of Ideals. Anything beyong that, in my view, is impossible.

    • Posted By: NStuff2 @ 11/07/2008 11:10:30 AM

Very true! presidents have very limited power anyhow. It's the House of Reps that make the laws not the President

The idiot prince is deposed by the electorate. We hope that he does minimal additional damage between now and January the inaugurationth, almost a holy day in a democracy. The Bush Dynasty has died nastily as all of royalty is destined to do in our country, thanks to those who drew up our founding papers after routing King George from our shores. This last Bush was a really bad idea from the start. All he had to run on was a family name. It got him into an office that he never deserved. The next time that anyone tries to do this, we should never forget to challenge the descendant of any president to the utmost before allowing him or her into our oval office on the strength of a family name. The oval office is that hallowed room that we lease for a maximum of four years at a time to those whom we cautiously allow to govern us. We are barely governable, jealous of our personal rights and freedoms, and we will turn on an incompetent in our elected offices with a vengeance when any of them does us ill and tarnishes our reputation in the world. Thank you, God, for this country. We will do our best to preserve it, as we have just done so well.

    • Posted By: NStuff2 @ 11/07/2008 11:02:34 AM

Yeah everyone thought Jimmy Carter was a CHANGE too worst economy ever those 4 years to

    • Posted By: kshortSD @ 11/06/2008 12:13:49 PM

Indeed, our country has turned a corner when we have rejected the "safe" choice of the older, experienced white candidate who promises to continue our trend of bullying other nations and gobbling up resources. Bush was elected only because his name was familiar, and people thought he'd be fun to "have a beer with". We have now proven to ourselves that we can move in a new direction and the sky won't fall. I'm so proud and excited for our new future!

It remains to be seen whether Obama can effect a balance between the interests of his own country and that of the world. A recent documentary The World Without US quite interestingly brought out the world's reaction to the issue on what happens if the US chooses to withdraw its troops from the world over. A lucid and thought provoking presentation of a much sought after answer.

  • Posted By: archmsu @ 11/06/2008 11:12:12 PM

Why do these people care so much? I've never followed another countries election? What a bunch of idiots, they must think they're getting a free check too!!

    • Posted By: bdub1855 @ 11/07/2008 12:15:17 AM

Dear archmsu: Lets's see...According to you, people around the world follow world events with interest. You proudly proclaim that you don't. Yet you call them "a bunch of idiots"!. Hmmm.... look in the mirror, my friend.

Clinton did what the world wanted, which was nothing when Al Qaeda attacked us at will. Very sh!tty trade, if you ask me, but the important thing is Clinton, The World, and Al Qaeda liked the deal. And had he been elected, John Kerry was on board with the deal too. He regarded Al Qaeda as nothing more than "a nuisance."

It will be interesting to see how Obama handles all this.

  • Posted By: newdee @ 11/06/2008 8:19:53 PM

I hope pres-elect Obama makes human rights his top priority for all of humanity, and the strongest legacy of his time in office.

  • Posted By: jkdude @ 11/06/2008 5:06:13 PM

This election was probably the worst ever. The speeches and debates meant nada but generalities - simple ones like - strong economy, get bad guys, and world peace... There weren't any really easily identifiable specifics like the first part of the article - what the poles wan't. I can't believe people voted for "change" - hopefully good change, not bad change. That is what they do in 3rd world countries - and they keep getting more junk. We gotta look beyond the rethoric (especially on politicians)

This is totally the media's fault for not doing enough - a simple compare and contrast on the candidates views on SPECIFIC things. Not Ayers, lapel pin, age race.... all rubish.
