    This woman is so cavalier about uprooting those poor little girls and throwing them under the media bus. And how about all that money she burns on clothes and vacationing in a five million dollar house in Hawaii. She is certainly out of touch with the vast majority of us Americans. . . oh wait, Michelle is not held to the same criticisms of Sarah Palin. . . to do so would invite the race card trump.

      One reason Mrs. Obama is not held to the same standards as Sarah Palin is because Mrs. Obama is not STUPID like Sarah Palin, and she has CLASS, and the Democratic Party did not buy her clothes, and when Mrs. Obama buys clothes, they are from designers that come to HER. Get over it, ignorant, Michelle Obama is the First Lady - with 81% of the vote for President going to her husband. DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It seems to me that Michelle has been very real. She looks genuine in both her laughs and frowns. Think we could give the first family a minute before they start getting criticized. I wish them and therefore the country every success & happiness

    I don't care what anyone says. Michelle Obama does not have the quality to be the First Lady. How about her oldest daughter with that hair style she has on. When she walks her head goes from left to right like a chandelier in a earthquake. Anyhow daughter and mother need to take few lessons on how to walk.

    Dolores...do you really want to talk about Michelle Obama uprooting her girls to live in the White House while Sarah Palin dragged her kids all over the country during the campaign (including her newborn like a sack of potatoes) when they should have been at home and in school? All of Michelle's clothes were bought by Michelle and NOT the Democratic National Party so what business is it of yours how much she spends of her own money? Michelle has earned her salary by working as an attorney! Ditto for the Hawaiian vacation...they rented it for a few weeks...they didn't buy it (versus John McCain who doesn't even know how many houses he and his wife own). You are the one out of touch with the American people...that should be clear to you by now based upon the election results!

    The thought that any American could live here and never feel pride before this unknown, inexperienced man was elected the next president makes me ill. Every generation of my family has served in the military, in every war, in every act of public service...and to couple that with the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have served to make us free and spoiled as we are today, to not feel pride every time the national anthem plays or every time we see Americans helping on another is sad. What sad lives you people lead to put your faith and happiness in one man...how sad for you to discredit everything that has been done up until now as nothing special when this man has not done anything besides speak words that he himself did not even write. How sad for you...and how sad for Mrs. Obama....for this main reason I have no respect for her and will not support her in any way. One man and his silly wife will not change a nation...we must do that ourselves. Perhaps she will finally learn enough about the military and all of the other people who have given their lives and their time to make this nation great...maybe then she can dig up a little pride.

      Michelle has plenty to be rightfully proud of her husband about. My primary article of faith about Obama is that his oath will remove from office that oaf and his neocon delusionals who blew the invasion of Iraq and got us bogged down there.

      I greatly respect all who serve in our military and appreciate them. But your post makes me hope that you would always be in a position of following orders rather than giving them.

Let???s go to the wars. ???My people??? started working for ???your people??? a long time ago and this nation was built on ???my people??? blood, sweat and tears. As far as the military, ???my people??? flew plans, fought, got killed and tried to live the ???American??? dream. But as long as they were fighting for ???Americans??? in another country it was ok, but when they hit ???American??? soil, they were still nobody. So, please read your African American History and you will know that ???we??? did more than you think ???we??? did, the only thing was ???your people??? got the recognition because we could not go through the front door to receive it.

    Lets look a your President Bush and your ???wanted to be??? President and Vice President. President Elect Obama does not have to prove anything to me. He went to Harvard and earned his degree, as well as his wife, who earned her degree. Bush, McCain and OMG, Palin, what rank were they in school and where did they receive their formal education. It???s obvious that Bush does not write any of his speeches because he does not have the experience, education or capabilities to do so. Why should he, he???s the president and his dad was president. Lets talk about what Bush did - Bush put us in this recession, Bush did not respond quickly to 911, remember he was reading a book to some elementary kids (his level), and we are still in a war fighting for WHAT, I cant even remember why anymore.

    Lastly, Michelle does not need your respect or ???your people??? respect, she has the respect of all African Americans and women, but guess what, you will have to listen to her and unknowingly respect her because she is and will be your FIRST LADY. So, get over it because the Obama???s are there for four years and if ???our people??? have anything to do with it, four more.
