When I told my friends that I believed God has his hands on Senator Barack Obama. He will be our next president, because it is God's mission. My prayer for Senator Obama and Mrs. Obama is the never allow themselves to receive the glory, it is all God's glory. They too should continue to speak regarding "CHANGE" and keeping it real telling Americans they must also contribute to help changing America. Putting our country back on the right track. We the people should stop looking at our government as the sole source for changing our country. Change in any fashion starts within each of us. I believe President Obama is on a mission for God. Part of his mission is to help USA unite as a people, as a whole. Meaning, that GOD is asking each of us to look within to seek and find talents we have that can contribute to changing our country. If we plan to look for all the answers from President Obama, our country will continue as is, HURTING & LOST. Having a fresh new look in Washington is a start for our country. In order to make REAL CHANGE we all must make our contributions. I thank GOD for His willingless to give America another chance, because the Bush admin. is leaving us with a debt America will never be able to repay. Meaning the lives of many innocent people in Iraq and USA. The blood Bush is leaving on our hands can never be washed off. We must wash our hands, get them as clean as possible. In this same process we must keep praying and asking God to have mercy and help guide our country to CHANGE FOR THE BETTERMENT
OF ALL.

It is refreshing to hear Michelle and Barack give thoughtful responses in interviews rather than "canned" responses we have been fed by "politicians". We finally will soon have a leader and gentleman in the white house rather than a politician.

It seems to me that the haters deep down wish that they were as beautiful, intelligent and decent as THE OBAMA FAMILY- AMERICA'S FIRST FAMILY!

It's amazing how closed-minded people are. It's amazing that 43 presidents were white and "black people" just couldn't complain. Now, the 43rd is bi racial, which has some of EVERYONE in him, and these damn bastards still finding reasons to gripe and groan. I am proud to finally have a president that is engaging and motivating, to me as a black woman, its more than just the color of his skin. There can be no true change until the ideals of the wicken are faded. I'm not by any means stating that the folks that voted for McCain are wicked and that Obama is some long lost hero... But I am not naive to believe that he can bring about change, he will line his cabinet with capable confident leaders. Give the man a chance, America gave the Bush administration a chance as as result we are in a depression, and he'll leave the White House richer than when he came because, he's lined his pockets with our hard earned money in the oil business. All in all the Obamas seem to be a real family, I look forward to fresh gust of wind that will blow the White House doors wide open come January.

Has anyone thought about this really hard.....nobody has won anything.......this is a man elected to do something that has been promised time and time again.......we live in a small town and farm and the majority of the people in this country have no idea how bad things have been or can get.......the BS and the nonsense needs to stop.......the bail outs, the fuel prices the over use of welfare.......this country is goig to pull itself to a 3rd world level with all saving the world tactics........i didnt see that either canidate offered to much hope for the average man and the blue collar family.......everyone on here needs to re-read what you write because it is sad with all the black remarks and white remark.........when you make a black remark you are making fun of the man when you make a white remark you are making fun of the man........i don't think the gorilla remarks or the salty cracker remarks are going to get us out of this resession any quicker.......i dont agree with obama but the man desirves respect just like my family desirves respect.........no i did not vote for him for the reasons of his disagreement with the right to bare arms and that is a freedom that everyone should back no matter what because he isnt going to take guns from everyone and ride around in aopen top car and have the seceret service due away with theres either........also he is going to have to get on board with the farming program of none of you are going to have the energy to eat cause there isnt gonna be enough to eat in this country..........contrare to many beliefs milk, bread, meat, and salads do NOT come from the store!!!!

I hope the first thing he does is focus on education. Did some of you people ever have a writing class in school??? Or a more serious question, did you go to school? I am not saying that I am the most intelligent person on here, but I at least know written mechanics, grammar, spelling, and how to proof read. I work with students with disabilities in a small inner city school and I see better written pieces from them compared to some things on here. But the other question is if you write like that, can you even read this?

So far, I have seen very few comments about the actual interview (including mine.) So, I would like to take the time to comment directly about the interview. From the point-of-view of a Republican, I must admit to being very pleasantly surprised. I found Mrs. Obama to be intelligent, engaging and thoughtful. I especially liked the fact that while she has many great ideas, she is able to honestly say she is still working on the answers. I, too, feel that she is right on target with getting the girls settled first. That's as it should be.

And just out of wild, unbridled curiosity.... What, exactly, does this interview have to do with her looks, dress code or the size of her hips? Come on, people, stop showing the world your ignorance. It's embarassing.

As a godly woman I am commanded to pray for my leaders so I will be doing just that. My prayer will include a request that the Holy Spirit convict Mr. Obama of anything in his life that does not line up with the word of God.
I will also be praying that Mr. Obama will see that some of the issues he stands for are not of God according to scripture. Since I firmly believe prayer does change people I certainly will hold Mr. Obama up in prayer.

Yes! Thank goodness we can all be united now. Nothing will seperate us and we will all be so excited to do the good works of Obama! Thank God for his election. I can't wait for the goodies he will giving out to all of us. oops, I guess I just realized I won't be one of those because I work! Oh well, thank God that I'm not selfish and will be looking forward to "giving" my good hard earned cash to a government that will decide who and where it goes and welfare programs that have such fantastic track records of success. Like for instance the "growth" of the African American Family from a mom/dad children unit to todays "family". Of course I suppose the other good thing will be folks like me who don't really won't to "give" to this won't have to worry too long, because with all the "bad" and "evil" corporations needing to be shut down, there won't be any jobs, so I will be able to join the ranks of those who don't work and we can all be miserably happy together.

Fortunately, I don't really think this will happen; however, it certainly could be possible if Lord Barack has his way! Pray that he won't and he will just be able to sit there and smile the next four years away!
