I agree Pia1981. What is ironic is these individual all claim to be intelligent hardworking individuals. Intelligence ...hah...they believe everything they hear and see on TV, most of them cannot spell, or complete a sentence.

One thing about it though, they won't be wasting money like whites do on tanning salons trying to get darker like beautiful African American skin is. They won't be wasting money on cologen like whites do so their lips can be full and voluptuous like African Americans' lips are. Too bad that this was about race for the majority of the blacks that voted for him. Go to you tube and search "harlem voters". Howard Stern did a piece where people from Harlem were asked who they would vote for and when they said Obama, the voters were given several reasons why and each policy that was mentioned and agreed on by the people were the policies of John McCain. The Harlem voters were also asked if they thought Obama made a good choice in picking Palin for his running mate and all AGREED that she was a good choice and that they supported his decision.
These are the kind of people that made this man president. I am not against him because of the color of his skin, that has never been an issue with me. I am against him because of his policies. I am not against him because he wants to bring CHANGE to America, I am against him because of the type of change he wants to bring.

EXACTLY!! I've been wating for someone to say that! I think it's about time that America had a black president - I'm just kind of sad that it's this one. I voted against Obama - not because I'm a racist, but because I don't agree with his stands and philosophies. I chose to judge the man by the content of his character (or at least what I knew of his character) and not by the color of his skin. I wish President-elect Obama and his wife and family all the best, and I hope my misgivings about him will turn out to be unfounded. One good thing that I hope will come from his presidency is that we can finally move past all the hatred and bigotry - from all sides of the "racial divide" and learn that any American can have a chance at accomplishing their dreams if they work hard at it. I hope that someday there will be a day when we can look at a white American, a black American, or any other American from whatever ethnic group and just see An American.

Breasy, I agree with you completely. As in all elections it is supposed to be about the issues, not about whether r not you are Democrat or Republican. Black or White and to continue with any kind of racial bias is ridiculas. IF those that voted for him because of his race did so for only that reason, they shouldn't hve been allowed to vote. After all did the people elect JFK because he was catholic, or because they believed he was the right person for the job at hand. All of the racist bickering happening here in this does not improve or help heal any racial problems, it actually just keeps the fire fueled. Lets look past the color of a mans skin and just Pray that he does what he said he would do to improve the economy, the housing problem and most of all to Raise the image of America around the world. We were at one time revered as the country that people of the world looked at with some admration because of what we had accomplished n the 200 years we have existeds. Most of all we should all consider ourselves lucky that we have the FREEDOM to elect our president, not just have him overthrow the existing government.
