One thing I would like to point out that most of the African Americans in this country seem to have forgotten is that Obama has a WHITE mother; therefore, he is also half WHITE. So, those African Americans who proceed to maybe think they are superior somehow because our president-elect is BLACK, just remember what color his mother is. This is not about superiority, it is about a human being who won an election because the country wanted him to be president, largely due to the current state of our nation. McCain fought a great uphill battle as best he could! Also, for you women out there who are black and forgetting the color of his mother, shame on you for not acknowledging that his mother is white. How would you feel if you had a child with a white man and your child was white skinned and everyone called your child white? It is just disguisting to me - he may have brown skin but he is half white and half black!

Obama bin laden leader of USSA united socialist states of america thats what he doing to us. He has all the black votes no matter what next election no matter if the guy is horrible blacks always vote for their own kind first. because lets say shoe was on other foot and obama was the horrible one and mc cain wasnt and and lets say mc cain was the democrat and obama the republican just like bush and lets say he was like a black bush and still blacks will vote for obama because its color first country second no matter what they want their own kind in office and whats deal with obama picking biden he looks like he going to have heart attack and he looks slow he should of pick hillary but we all know obama wanted black VP but he would get no white votes if he did so he probaly have to stump on his pride and pick white man for VP but this one probaly croke way before mc lame.

Michelle Obama seems to embody the strong educated black woman.Such women tend to focus on their personhood rather than their feminity.My concern for such women (as I myself am one) is that they can be too opinionated and and impose their opinions on others.So if I had to say one thing to Michelle it would be : girl chill out the academic-ness use that only as a trump card when exteremely necessary .Focus instead on your feminine side work hard on looking beautiful always .Peple already know that youo ar ebright, what they wan t to know is if you are beautiful as well.

why is the slavery comment always coming up with the african american culture these days. yes your past was harsh and yes it was a long road to the standing we have now as a free nation. so stop bring up how you were beaten. because you were not beaten. should i complain about how my indian family was drugged across this nations ran off thier own lands. or how my father was deported back to mexico. no. because that is the past and i was not part of that generation. yes i will remember where my family came from and their struggles but i will not boast about it to the nation on how everyone owns us respect. its the 2008 live like it. and i am glad to see a that someone of another race can hold the highest level in this country. and i wish the best to my new commander and chief. for i took an oath to defend him and my country at any cost. no matter his race or gender.
