    What a proud day for America. We must remember that Obama is not just a black man he is a MAN, and he is biracial. This makes for unity in the races. I hope that every black boy or girl feels the pride and that it calls for that pride to get deep down inside of us. IN our minds then to our hearts. It is only possible in America to be what ever you want to be. I pray that GOD is allowing DR and MRS Martin Luther King to look down and smile on America.

    I believe that God will allow us to self destruct, he does not interfere in free will. The will of the media chose Obama and barely a simple majority of the people. Someone said that Obama would be as great as Reagan, I certainly hope he is better than that. Reagan was the worst president of my time, with G.W. and Clinton running a close second. I didn't vote for Obama because he was black, but because he has no experience what-so-ever. Had Colin Powell ran, I would have voted for him against McCain.

      you talking about how God didn't choose Obama and how He is just watching us destroying ourselves. If you were a real Christian then you would know that God is a Loving God and that He doesn't just sit there watching His people destroying themselves. He gave us all a free will and we could have voted for whoever we wanted to. It is time for everyone to stop looking at the color of someone's skin. Don't you ever stop and think of how boring it would have been if we were all the same color? If we spoke the same language and so on... I hope no one is wasting their time judging other people based on their color. I am an American, I am a Cararibbean, I am an African decent and Haitian and I admire everyone.

    I am not sure where she was talking to Military families but, where ever she was, they didn't have a very good Family Support Group or none at all. My mother has been involved with family support in Missouri for at least 10 yrs. Even when my father wasn't deployed she was always there at all the function that were held and helping those you maybe just came to socialize and get out and some who came to bring their kids. If you have a family support group then they should be the ones who the woman and men can go to for help and support when they don't have any anywhere else.

    One thing that does concern me is the paper that Michelle Obama submitted for her Master's degree. It is very public and can be googled on the internet. It is very racist. In my opinion, it is very clear what she believes and how she perceives her fellow man. I wish everyone would have taken the time out to read that and some may have been persuaded.

    I do wish they would get a new picture of Michelle "O" The one they show on the internet all the time makes here looks so mean looking and old. However....that aside. I work with many people of different nationalities in the healthcare field. Most of them African Americans, or people of color, or black, or what ever you want to call them. I asked many of them today if they had ever voted before and most all of them said "well no" I just wonder....do they really know who they were voting for at all. One of them tried to convince me to change my vote to Obama because his "mama" was one of me. Now if that isn't racist I don't know what is.

    I am 63 years old and I am thanking God that I had the opportunity to be alive for this historic event. It is hard to believe that in my lifetime a Black Person could be elected President of The united States Of America. May God bless Barack and his family, surround them with his presence, protect them from evil and harm, and continue to to give him the wisdom and strength to rule The United States Of America in a good way.Good Luck to the Obama Family.

He challenges people to do what is right, the devil challenges people to do what is easiest and best for themselves.

      I truly agree with you on this issue. I knew he was the chosen one. I decide this on june the 4th , when he gave his acceptional speech. From that day forward God was leading him. If you knows President Oboma,speak from the heart. There is not reading from notes or etc. He is truly one of God's chosen angel. May God keep him and his family in perfect harmony,and bring us closer together as a country,so we can function on one beat.
