Some one said here to my comment about Malia and Shaha living in Chicago and their father coming down whenever possible from his schedule - his work in the service of our country for which he is amply rewarded both above and under the table - to see them. Someone said that it was a laughable idea. Why, I ask when a large part of the working class in the country does just that? Work, during work hours, days weeks or months - army, navy, airforce, dockyards, factories, power plants, bakeries, clinics, schools - work during work and leisure when one can? Why is the President to be immune from such rules, such rigors of life? Why, when we working folk can stay away from our husbands and our wives and our daughters and our sons, to earn our bread and theirs - why can the President not? What need is there for these kids to live in DC? Why does Social Seurity, or Secret Service Security, have to help get his wife and kids to safety in the even of any bad thing happening. Are the rest of this nation's citizens basically just second class? Aren't our leaders supposed to look after us first? Help us out before looking after their own safety and that of their family? Besides - Why do these kids need to be uprooted from what is obviously their beloved Chicago home, friends and large family? What usefulness are they adding - what value, let us say - in this age of 'transformation and change' - to the Presidential office? Obama's wife can take good enough care of them. She should stay in Chicago. Why drain us the taxpayers, our money, our hard-earned income, by relocating ? Does she really need to be stuck to her husband's side? He is the President (elect). He has work to do. She has social coffee mornings. In this time of severe economic crises, what is the relevance of a coffee morning exactly? Do we need to see her in her expensive designer clothes - taken from our paychecks, notwithstanding any denial dramas - on so much as a weekly basis even? Do we need to see those kids? No. We do not. The American taxpaying oublic does not. Michelle is not a part of Obama's cabinet. Neither are Shassa and Malia. Do we really need to bother with them then? He, Obama, harped on and on about change, yelling it from the rooftops. Now let's see change.

Change? Yes, he has changed. And pretty quick too. He's backtracking already on the Iraq withdrawal issue. His lips are getting shut on the insanity of Bush's stimulus package, seeing as he is proposing to float more inflation himself -and he's gone stone deaf about Gitmo. His decision to go after the Taliban in Pakistan is now by hiring a group of Pakistani security advisors at $200k a piece to tell him to go after Kashmir instead, where there are no Taliban. He's writing love-notes to Iran and making midnight calls to Saudi Arabia already. The new consumer powers - China and India, he's totally ignored, plus the fact that Chna owns a lot of the US now, and India is our latest most expensive nuclear power handbag. He's dangling carrots before grandkid Georgia instead of calling on grandfather Russia, who really calls all the (gun)shots in that part of the world. HIs own grandmother died, and he didn't even care to say he wished she could have seen his victory in his dismissal (to his fans) speech that night. And he's conveniently forgotten his "beloved auntie Zeituni", who was a part of the $4 million in revenues from his audacious writing escapades, and who is now facing severe hunger poverty and deportation in some project housing in the US. What a wonderful man Obama seems to be. And what a wonderful way to spend America's money his wife and kids have found. A blank check is just that. What a wonderful way to describe you and me.

Belinda, your point is that just because you or others are unaware of the clothing "allowance" for past first families, we ought to let it go and allow this new first family to continue to fleece the American taxpayer? You now what, Belinda you can say...whatever about my "English", because I know that despite my writtings are not in perfect English spelling or grammar rules ( specially when I type fast) , I STILL GETTING MY MESSAGE ACROSS.THE BOARD.... I think, I could be a very good President, if I could for to be ONE , because I don't need to use money from the working people to maintain fancy dinners and expensive dresses (that look like a Halloween custome!) or put my kids in the most "expensive" schools, in order to run a Country with so much potential into the RIGHT DIRECTION !!!! The main problem LIES that "most people in DC" wants only to fill their pockets instead of do their important jobs and has been proven many times.....and happen in every country too ! Also many others keep themselves in Welfare for forever for the "dumiest" reasons and lack of self steem!!!! We ,the "workers", as I can say, are the ones "paying" the higher prices and nothing gets DONE !!!!! Many "veterans from wars" cannot afford to survive and many younger people claiming for " disability" for the most stupid reasons by making up fake pains to doctors . They LOVE to get so fat and end up having Medicaid to pay for their Heart conditions LATER, because is FREE !!!! Many love to smoke so much and get too fat BY IGNORANCE because the Governmnet pays for it!!! If they have money for cigarrets and potao ships everyday ,they are feeding bad habits for the Governmnet to maintain and take advantage!!!! So definetly, we could conclude , they could afford a place to live, instead of going and depend also on

Many people don't even try to get out of they Couches and do better for themselves and that's why we have so many Fat people in this country and make us LOks as LOOSERS in front of many other nations !
