Doc- you're right! It's better now. However, I knew that when President Obama was elected some people true colors were coming out. It's like you didn't want it to happen but knew it would.

I'm going to say this to you and let you go. First of all I have both my father and mother who are both in my life. I am married and both of my children have both parents living in the same home. What I think is that you're young, dumb and full of it! I'm very proud to be Negro, African American and all that! I have bi-racial children and a mixture of other races throughout my family. This is how we were raised, to look beyond COLOR and this is what my children are taught and it will pass to the next generation! Maybe someday you will forgive yourself for your stupidity and learn how to become mature in your ways. it's not hard. Just like you learned to be racist and stupid, you can learn how to become someone with sense. Maybe one day... there is still hope for you! Please don't have any children right now your mind is still cloudy and it wouldn't be healthy for them. If you already have children my heart goes out to them.

I have to be honest. I know there is still a lot of racism in the world. I was raised by rather racist parents, but have always had the good sense to judge the people I meet by their behavior, not the color of their skin. My personal opinion has always been that the "N" word should be used to describe a type of person rather than the color of a person. And I have known just as many white ones as black.

Nonetheless, I have been truly shocked that true out-and-out, blatant, in-your-face racism still exists. I really, honestly didn't know. I don't participate in many of these online type of things, but have learned so much from this. Unfortunately, not all of it has been good. I have certainly had my eyes opened a bit. May God forgive all of you who harbor so much hate and anger in your hearts.

People !!! Look at the STATISTICS on ALL VOTES throughout America, you will see that predominately and statisically it was not ONLY Black votes nor ONLY White votes that lead this great country to a victory !! It was all votes from ALL PEOPLE !!!! Not ONLY Black and not ONLY White, BUT ALL ! For the record ...... there is more "White" (80%) in USA then there are any other race. GOD !!!! STOP THIS BICKERING !!!

I never thought that in my lifetime, Americans would elect a person to be the president of the United States that has never fought for this country in one of the United States Armed Forces or did not pay their dues to the people of this country as a public servant and has no proven track record as a leader.

At my job I am the only minority. There are 2 other people and myself that are McCain supporters. All of the other ???white??? people voted for Obama. I have to say none of them could debate the issues with me intelligently. They truly didn???t know why they were voting Democrat except for the fact that it was the popular thing to do; it scares me that the people of this country can be so easily coerced by the media and celebrity status of an individual.

I guess the bottom line is that Obama is going to be our president and I hope that he is successful, because if he fails we all fail.

now well say the one thing Iam happy about Obama getting elected is for years all you hear is how whites hold down blacks from good jobs and all they can do is work in the baby making factory too get more welfare
well now those days are over a black has the say now so they can get a real job pay their own rent and not wait on Opras check and all the other rich bubbies of Obamas that hes going too spread the wealth from it can go to the older people that worked all their life and really tried to make it but needs a little help because their S.S. CHECKS doesn't meet these days cost of living but couldn't get help because there was to many young people working on baby making line and other people coming here for the goverments free hand out I pray Obama changes all that and cuts all the pay checks in goverment and free vacations

It is very nice to hear that the First Lady Elect's first priority is the adjustment for their Children and to maintain as much a normal type of upgringing for the Girls. Having their Grandmother close by or present in the children's lives will be a great nuturing process that I amsure in time the girls will learn to apppreciate. I
further believe that Michelle will have a lot less free time on her calendar than she believes. Also her Political Role and committment will be much greater then she has ever experienced before. I feel confident she will
do her very best to represent this Country with the grace and intelligence of a first lady and what is expected of her. I am not familar with her education and experience she has had in Punlic Life other than the Senator
from Illinois wife. Two years ago not many people from outside the State of Illinois had any prior knowledge on the Obama background. She didn't have the exposure or experience of a Jackie Kennedy, but Jackie in my opinion would be a good example of a first lady to emulate. I will pray for them and their challenges they will be confronting in the next 4 years at a minimum. The Economy, the Iraq War and, Elimination of oil dependency of foreign oil are just some of the promises made by Barack Obama that will take a great deal
of Support from the House and Senate. Good Luck to you both on all your endeavors, this country is counting
on your success......Medical reform is also another huge challenge that will need changes.

This comment is directed to sd69. Get your facts straight. The man is not African-American. He's of Muslim descent. That is QUITE different. Wake up and smell the coffee! It is fact. Look at the inner cities. Look at the fact that Black children never seem to have fathers. Even Obama didn't know his own father and Thank God for all of us he was raised by whites or else we would really be in trouble. Sorry, but the truth hurts dosn't it.

The way I see it, all of so called Democrats have had your fun at putting down McCain and Palin throughout the primary. All of you had your fun at putting down the eight years of BushMonkey. Now, after the election is over, everyone agrees that a woman(any woman Black or White) is not smart enough to be V.P. let alone President. Now, we have the Democrats who won the office and Congress, so it is open season to pick on them for four years. It seems that the rules have changed during the presidental race. So Obama is elected and everyone will just have to get use to all of the remarks negitive or positive. Obama is fair game to all freedom of speech.
