The Final Days

This was a well-researched and fairly presented piece, but found the last few "chapters" a bit weak and disappointing. In the rush to post after the election, it lacked the background and clarity of the first few chapters which were excellent. I really enjoyed the beginning chapters and catching a behind-the-scenes look at both campaigns.

Yes, fascinating. But an error on the last page: John Sununu is not pro-choice. Everyone in New Hampshire knows that. Bradley is, and they both opposed ANWR drilling, though.

I also have a lot more respect and even admiration for John McCain, and I wish him all the best from here on. Obama's victory has done so much to take away the cynicism that has piled up in me, and I believe the rest of the world as well, and just for that, I am already grateful to him. His campaign sounds like a good place to have worked at, and I've faith that he's the kind of man who can rally good, capable people.

This Newsweek special has been the most interesting, original piece of journalism I've ever read. The behind-the-scenes insight was absolutely fascinating. Thank you!

This is great reading... started reading yesterday thanks to Stumper's recommendation and couldn't stop until today... thanks Newsweek. This story made me empathic about both campaigns and understood their very humanly struggles.

Fascinating reading, thank you Newsweek. I have more respect for John McCain, than I did before. I have been proud to participate in my tenth presidential election. I feel eight years younger!
