HEHA is right, sort of; just because a person's IQ (Sarah Palin for instance) is lower than someone elses(B. Obama for instance) does not mean that she would be a worse leader than the "Brainy one". She would be better because what she has is common sense and a faith in America, capitilism and the people of America. BO is too steeped in his ideology of Liberalism and wealth redistribution to see that his policies are taking what G. Bush and congress messed up and making it far worse. If he is aware, then he is just evil. He is not much of a Constitutional scholar as he continues to show each day with taking over companies and appointing Czars. How is his apology tour complete with pandering speeches going over? Maybe fine in Europe and the Middle East, but here at home his popularity is starting to plummet. Hopefully America has awaken and ACORN can be subdued so that BO can join the unemployment line where 500-700 thousand Americans have gone every month since the great (unread) stimulus package was passed. Obama is a disaster and he and Liberalism will be vanished for a generation at least in 2012......Good riddance.

Sarah Palin is more intellectual tan Obama. The media was just against her.

"...brains are back. Sense and pragmatism and the idea of considering-all-the-options are back. Studying one's enemies and thinking through strategic problems are back. Cultural understanding is back."

DIdn't take long for all that to go away... In fact less that 72 hours into his presidency and he's signed an order to close Gitmo within 12 months with no plan. What happened to forward thinking and considering all the options?

I hope for our own safety that he and his team do some good study of Islamic culture so as to understand that many of them are not peace loving and in fact desire very much to destroy our nation and our way of life.

Mr. Hirsh may not be "under any illusion" regarding our new President, but I think that much of what is said in this article will turn out to be a delusion.
