I have often heard the opiniion that prostitution shouls be legalized. Thank you, NEWSWEEK for infroming the your readers just why this is a bad idea. Prostition, worldwide is not about sex for sale, it is about human traficking (read SLAVERY). Sweden has the right approach. All customers and pimps should be prosecuted.

What Clinton did was much worse than Spitzer. At least Spitzer had the decency to pay his concubine for her services. Clinton preyed on a young intern under his command and she got nothing in return. Clinton was the real "sex trafficer" so where was the outrage?

The problem with Michael Garcia and Eliot Spitzer is that neither one is accountable. Because Garcia is entrusted to enforce the law, the situation is even more disgusting. Not only is he unaccountable, but he allows the behavior to flow downstream to the supposedly 'noble' governor. Ha ha; the entire system is laughable.
An additional note: If they were real men, they wouldn't have to pay for sex.

The DOJ has a bigger scandel brewing. On May 9th 2005, I reported significant criminal activity to Miles Ehrlich, the then head of the White Collar Crime division of the DOJ's San Francisco office. The activity inculded: money laundering, narcotics trafficking, bribing judicial officials, fraud, etc.

At the center of the criminal acitivity was a "shareholder" with a major law firm, the now disolving Heller Ehrman. Ehrlich took my information and promised to "get back to me." I later learned he left the DOJ. And the punch line is.... began furtively advising the lawyer I identified to him and at least one of her co-conspirators.

I of course re-reported the activity to the DOJ via the FBI. So far nothing. Seems lawyers are above the law. Will Preisdent Elect Obama do something about this? Doubtful. One, he's a lawyer and two has relied heavily on contributions from lawyers everywhere to fuel his campaign. In fact, Miles Ehrlich made a large contribution to Obama.

America needs a constitutional amendment that affords victims rights and we need to adopt substantive legislation that regulates lawyers....
