Don't fret, I do think Americans in general, especially young Americans, have grown more enlightened about ethnicity and race and are less prejudice, racist. But there will always be those apples, young and old, who for some reason still live in the dark ages and don't really want to move forward. With all the media outlets, I think there is enough room for "human interest" stories. And, you know, I think you can tell a few things about a person by their bowel movements. You are what you eat. Healthy bowels indicate a healthy mind and body.

The hatred, ignorance and, yes, racism, expressed in many of these posts has made me question my idea,, since Sen. Obama was elected, that Americans have become more enlightened and open-minded in the last couple of decades. What was meant as a somewhat fun social commentary has gleaned almost nothing but rants about abortion, welfare and class warfare. Shore up your own self-esteem and quit tearing down others.

are you kidding me! I feel i have lost a few IQ points after reading this garbage.. Obama hasnt even taken office and the media acts like he is Jesus in carnate. People this man in a POLITICIAN, so the only thing you can trust is that he will FAIL to deliver on at least half of his promises. He has no proven track record, a first term senator that is speech savy and promised us the world. This man could be the biggest snake oil salesman of all time. So quit the hype before he has even taken office... he has no where to go but down since everyone has put him on a pedestal.

I just recently gave notice at my job. We are a small company. My monthly contribution towards my health insurance (if you can call it that-UniCare- I call it Useless Care) is $469 a month, and my employers give an additional 200. $669 a month for crappy insurance? Are you kidding me? I'm really scared.....wish I could get Medicare....but don't get me started again!!

Oh, yeah! As soon as I found out that Obama won I cried to my wife "Honey, Obama won, lets get in the sack and have a baby!!" Lordy, Lordy, Lord!!! The way the earth shook that night, I knew we weren't the only ones with the "urge". There will be babies of all colors, black, white, brown, yellow, red, indigo, and maybe some green too, who knows, I am just so excited I have not been able to stop.

I appreciate the intent of the article, I guess. But the vast majority of "baby booms" in the past never actually happened. For instance, people talk about the baby boom after the New York City blackout. When researchers checked that month's birthrate against the same month every year, they realized there was no boom. Try googling "urban myths." It's right up there with "Coke + pop rocks = exploding stomach!"

Hey...theendisnear2009,,,I totally agree with you comment. I have worked all my life (college degree)and now I am unemployed with no health insurance...so why should welfare and illegals get health insurance and not even work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In relation to the Obama Baby comment..We have too many Blacks, Whites and Illegals who are draining our welfafe system......shame on you!
