Obama is the same as any other president in that he will fall short on most of his promises. The only person I can count on to move ahead in this world is me, myself and I and my family and that is about it. It is wishful thinking to me to think that a man that I never met is going to solve all of our problems. I would suggest reading the book "Bad Money" by Kevin Phillips that suggest that the american public is being dupped by both parties. The U.S. has a credit crisis, foreign currencies crises, an oil linked to the U.S. dollar crisis, manufacturing crises, employment crisis, hedge fund crisis. In 1999, President clinton passed the deregulation of the banking industry as well as NAFTA. How has that helped the economy??? Bush was a dummy for continuing those policies. We the people are screwed no matter who is in office.
