Sayuri, apparently voting for the best guy, not the most popular, has gone with the wind, like personal responsibility and honor and ethics and many other qualities we used to be able to take for granted. It's all about the flavor of the moment, the idol of the day. Too bad that all those new voters didn't take the time to actually read anything or figure out who they were voting for. They just followed the herd.

So Check yourself and look at the context of my earlier comment.

Redistribution of wealth is what the income tax is all about. Is and always has been. This is an old truth that has been beaten to death to no avail. Believe it or not tax breaks are given to the poor and rich, the higher your income after liabilities puts you in a higher tax bracket. This money is thus redistributed, its been this way in good times and in bad. It's been this way forever.

Their people do things? Ignorance is Bliss, and will remain that way as long as "People like You" exist. And if you knew anything about the subject, you would know that white women obtain 60% of all abortions, their abortion rate is well above that of minority women. Although black and hispanic women are more than 3 times as likely as white women to have an abortion, white women are seen statistically to carry through with the act.

I despise ignorance, but not as much as I do an ignorant racist. Putting yourself in the know before you speak/type is always suggested.

Like the world isn't overpopulated enough, now you're encouraging people to have babies because of euphoria? There are thousands of children who already need homes, how about a baby adoption boom.

I was concieved out of a celebration of some sorts... My mother was not ready to have me. I was born (thank God) before Roe v Wade. I got a chance at life. I grew up not only to be a taxpayer, but an Uber-taxpayer since I have a small business. I am now married with a child, so not all unwanted pregnacies end up on welfare in some horrible cycle. She could have chosen a family that was ready for a child if she really did not want to take responsibility.

Emilli, the taxpayers (those of us employed and paying now) will, once again, have to pay for everything. Tax breaks for those who don't pay? Penalizing the only ones in America still investing (i.e., the "rich" and big business), redistribution of wealth to those who haven't earned it? How can you give a tax break to someone who pays no taxes? And why would you want to stop someone from investing when that's exactly what we need? Go figure. I didn't vote for the guy.

Stats show that many more children do grow up to be taxpayers rather than those who mooch off the government the entire course of their life.

Who thinks of this stuff. There are really some dumb people out there.

Why not the parents arent going to have to pay for them. The taxpayers will.

He did a bait and switch on the public financing. He totally played Mccain on that deal. Mccain stuck to his word, though. I do have to admit surprised at the Mccain decision to stick to his word.
