This is hardly sexual harrassment. If you think this is bad, you might as well just stay home and wear a body condom.

What fool would assign a 22yo neophyte female to interview a natural born predator like Mr. Van Damme even from 10'000miles and by phone? See what it got you?Exactly what you wanted. Something salient to print in your tabloid. And damned if you didn't just go ahead and print it regardless of anything but the 1 or 2 copies you might sell. And it isn't sexual harrassment if it is entrapment. A well planned evil doing!

I'm a little disturbed by the some comments on this article. Doesn't the fact that he's sexualy harrassing the interview not register with some of you? How is that ok in any way? Props to Newsweek for publishing this. I wonder how many other celebrities, or people for that matter, try and pull this kind of crap during a serious interview.

Does anyone here disturbed by the sexual harassment he's doing towards this reporter? Is Vann Damm one of those men who has a right because he's a celebrity?

Does anyone think that his comments were unprofessional and wrong? He's sexually harassing this reporter.

I have always seen so many of this man film. He has found the frequescy for which I have found it very simple to intigrate to with my thoughts and several other of my thoughts. I will see all of his moves and read the interviews a few time more before being able to conjure up the strength that he emboldens into me.

I have read, I think, all of Sarah Ball's Newsweek articles and have become a fan of hers, or at least her talent; and so, when one considers her command over pros and her exceptionally rich vocabulary... "--Uh" says it all. It would be great though to read her thoughts on that strange exchange.

You guys are just jealous of his very broad shoulders, dark hair and simple suit. Jealous!!

  • Posted By: coffeecup2 @ 11/20/2008 11:18:42 AM

Thiis guy has no character at all talking toa 22 year old like he did. Not only that, He needs help with his whole personality. He is despicalbe in all his ways. He needs the hell beat out of him. That would straighten him out in a hurray. He is a washed up celebrity who is trying to live in the past.

Anybody really want to see a washed-up celebrity who made some really bad movies thirty years ago? Sorry, this guys fifteen minutes were over before they started. YAWN...

I flew back from Thailand with one of the stars (Josef Cannon) of his film "Full Love". We got to chatting on why he was in Bangkok, that's what you do when you have 16 hours to kill. jean-Claudes name came up and I must say I thought he was dead, so I was shock to hear he was staging a "comeback" of sorts with a film entitled JCVD. I thought this was a joke, but I finally realized he was serious. it was also mentioned that the performance of JC was AMAZING! Again i thought he was joking, but this too he was serious about. This weekend I got the chance to see this film and Josef Cannon was NOT lying. Not only was it a wonderfully acted performance by someone i never thought I would use that phrase in the same sentence, but it now has me looking forward to his next project, "Full Love." I'm hoping to attend the premiere somewhere so I can meet Jean-Claude and more importantly see Mr. Cannon again. Did I forget to mentioned that he was HOT?!

I like Jean-Claude always seems like a decent Man. I ve liked his work and his off sceen persona. I'm all for more of JCVD. But who knows these days, seems more like it's better to trust no-one than to put much heart in anyone,,,But then hey Barack Oboma just got the Pres vote so there maybe good ahead after-all. Go Jean-Claude

Jean Caude van Damme is bring back the juice from the past. I cannot wait to watch the movies. I am 36 now and during my younger days i could not help but to watch this man. Many of his agemates probably left the scene. I commend him for his comeback. Bravo. And bravo to Sarah Ball. It was a good read. Thanks

Is this a joke? This is how he promotes a movie about the real Jean Claude Van Dame? By hitting on a reporter like a jerk? This has to be a joke... I just checked, this is a real article.
