Hey, Dad, Can I Be in Your Movie?

Ever wonder how you can make it in Hollywood? It's easy—if your mom or dad is an Oscar nominee. These kids all got their big breaks by appearing in their parent's films, and now they have careers of their own.

Jaden Smith: He's just been cast as the new "Karate Kid." The 10-year-old son of Will Smith (and Jada) made movie debut with his dad in "The Pursuit of Happyness."

Mamie Gummer: She was 3 in her first movie, "Heartburn," with mom Meryl Streep. Next project: a Woodstock comedy directed by Ang Lee.

Colin Hanks:Tom Hanks's son got his big break in his dad's flick "That Thing You Do." Now he does his own thing in "Mad Men" and "W."

Rumer Willis: Both parents helped: was in Demi Moore's "Striptease" and Bruce Willis's "Hostage." She cut the cord with "The House Bunny."

Eva Amurri: Worked with stepdad Tim Robbins and mom Susan Sarandon in "Dead Man Walking" at 9. Now 23, she's at work on a TV pilot.
