Last night, I had watched the innauguaration almost all day and was a little tired of seeing this. I looked at my channel guide and found the Christian Channel Daystar and they were showing "Left Behind" and Left Behind 2 "Tribulation Force" back to back. It just so happened that it was on the night of the inaugueration.

I say that this is an almost 5,000 year lesson that Man cannot live without God in this world and every time man has tried, he fails miserably and greed and earthly possessions overtake him. Which is why we are going through this. Going to a secular progressive society is not the answer it is the problem. I challenge those that refute this claim just show me 1 nation in this world that is secular progressive that is better than the USA across the board. The reason remains because of our constitution and our belief in a universal God for all of the mojor relgions and the fact that you can choose to worship however you so desire. Even the poorest among us in the USA still have much more than that of other countries

I applaud newsweek for their courage this is not just some crazy conspiracy theory that a "few" crazies are talking about a LOT of people are talking about this topic. I am a Christian and the first thing I notice time after time is that Christians get a bad rep. from people who claim Christianity and make ridiculous and radical statements. It's also incredibly funny that the people who try and refute the claim that Obama is the anti-christ by saying it is Bush. Tsunamis took place, the economy collapsed, and other terrible things took place. Correct, but that means nothing except that times are rough - even weather is pounding the world.

It's not very far-fetched to make the assumption that Obama is the anti-christ, but I feel its certainly stupid to make any kinds of assumptions out loud in a public manner. Christians should not be worried and focusing all their time on making guesses at who's the A-C. What should be happening, is Christians rising up and spreading the gospel to a world that is very much in need of the Good News that the Gospel has to offer. Because whether or not Obama or anyone else is the A-C, the end times are present and the way the entire world is progressing in constant decline, the facts present themselves that we're closing in. The world doesn't need to know who the A-C is. They need hope. And not hope in people who promise to fix the world, but hope in the only thing that is constant and promised to us. That is, the finished work of Jesus.

This isn't new. Those of us who have been paying attention have been talking about Obama and Warren being the Antichrist and False Prophet, respectively, for over a year now. The media never fails to misrepresent Christians. Most Chrsitians DO think about the end times and not all of us who do are pre-millenailists, though the author of the article seems to think we are. The Bible does not endorse pre-millenialism, but leaves it open to 3 schools of thought, though pre-millenialism has pretty much been proven wrong.

The word "antichrist" (found 4 times in the Bible) is not used in the Book of Revelation even once. Revelation describes a "beast", an "image of the beast", and a "false prophet" who works deceiving miracles. A false prophet is also called a sorcerer in the Book of Acts. Obama has no miracle working false prophet that I have seen. How about you?

Who cares who the antichrist is? Everyone involved with and associated with the media, wether Christian, Agnostic, or Atheist, is out to feed on death, distruction and disaster and then spread fear into the hearts of common people who are just trying to live their pathetic insignificant lives in peace. The media is the antichrist dominating and governing the entire world with its deceptive unrelenting cruelty while suckling the teet of greed, lust and overwhelming immorality. If the media in all its forms simply vanished from the face of the Earth, there would be no need for the second coming of Christ because we would live in paradise already.

This is for looka@yourself; I agree with you that this country has gone from the top to now, the bottom in eight years, and I also agree that we should give someone else a chance to change the USA for the better. Maybe I can help you understand a littlle, I also voted for him in the primaries but the truth is I think that this country was so desparate to get away from the Bush failures and the same old government ways that when Obama surfaced, he has charisma and charm and of course new ideas and that swayed people to vote for him.
You are right about the Anti-christ, he does lead people away from Christ but does it in such a way as to hide his true intentions. There are some people out there that think that Obama is the Messiah. I know he is not my Messiah because he has already been shrouded in controversy from his church to his company that he kept for all these years. My Messiah will not have any controversy surrounding Him.
Everyone attacked Sarah Palin because she didn't have enough experience but Obama only sat in the Senate for 105 days because the rest of the time he spent on his campaign. Does that make him experienced?? At least Ms. Palin was a full term governor from the state of Alaska.
As far as the economy and home prices, you can't pin the blame on the republicans only there are 2 parties and they both should own up to there mistakes.

Read Revelations, the last book of the Bible and compare it to recent events. Also read the, "Left Behind" books by Timothy Lahae and Jerry Jenkins they are a good read and although it is fictitious he does try to base it on Revelations. You can also rent the 2 part movie that actor Kirk Cameron stars in.
Is he truly the Anti-Christ?? Rest assured, if he brokers a peace deal between Israel and her enemies then you will have your answer. Then everyone needs to repent and turn from wicked ways because the true Messiah is on his way.
