    It looks like this article is going to go on newstands on Nov. 24th. If that happens,..Newsweek magazine is apparently NOT listening to its readers. I will promote anti-Newsweek and bad news travels better that good news. However,..if Newsweek "sees the light" and does not publish Miller's ridiculous rant (666 the sign of the Beast,..Everybody knows CRAP) I will be Newsweek's best customer.
    Newsweek has the power to print the article or not. It is copied and saved in my computer, ready to be emailed to ALLLLLL of those Obama supporters.
    Please do not print this,..it will only fuel hate and discontent,..please.

    Any article that credits that nutbag Victoria Jackson isn't worth the time it took to write the piece. I am totally offended by this nonsense because it gives fuel to psychos who wish to do Obama harm. I am surprised that Newsweek would engage this type of idiocy in the days following reports about the threats that our President-Elect is facing. It is irresponsible and borders on dangerous. The good news is that I know to skip Miller's columns in the future.

    As a Christian American, it scares me to think people might believe these views to be anything like as mine. Nothing you speak in any way represents the beliefs or values that I was taught, either as a Christian nor as an American. Of all the fear-pandering, paranoia-propagating nonsense I've ever seen spewn by cretins, this is sickening!

      I don't know what values you were taught as a Christian or an American, but Lisa Miller is in the right game, even if she is almost thirty years too late. The Bible clearly asks in the Beast chapter Revelation 13 who is like unto the beast who is able to make war with him? And we as Americans have never shyed away from the good fight.     I'm an evangelical Christian and this article is a load of crap. Most Christians do not believe Obama is the Antichrist, in fact many, many including myself voted for him. I really can't understand why Newsweek would take a fringe belief and give it so much publicity. There is an enormous amount of news to cover, and to choose this strange piece about a minority of people who think Obama is Antichrist is bad journalism.

    Actually, Alienshavelanded, the anti christ is someone who falsly leads and unites the population into damnation (Maybe he was never acutally voted in). Besides, the revalations are not written for our time. If you did some research you would note that these texts were written in Nero's time. Additionally, I think it is really poor judgement on the part of the media to even print this crap.

    I wish these people would read and study their bible. I believe the evangelicals read the King James version of the bible?
    The Anti Christ is someone that denies Jesus Christ. Meaning Anti-Against Christ. I could be antiChrist or anybody else for that matter. People are always looking for some monster like Godzilla to show up on the scene when their enemy is in their face. Anybody with common sense should know better than this.

    I thank Lisa Miller for producing a very unbiased article just giving the facts about what some people believe. She is not condoning these beliefs nor is she trashing them, she is just presenting them. It doesn't matter if the beliefs are mainstream or even crazy, the fact of the matter is that some people believe this stuff. Period. There is no need for personal attacks on her, she is just doing her job.

      Thank you!! Delusions and paranoia are so mainstream now, it's beyond unsettling. Before the GOP legitimized these people and lured them out from their basements to use them for their votes (notice none of the issues these people demanded were given to them by the GOP), people like this would have ended up in the nutty house for talking as they do. I hope they keep becoming more irrelevant - indeed, Obama's win showed us folks are fed up with them - and finally just STFU and keep to themselves like they used to.

    Although Obama is not the anti-christ Ronald Wilson Reagan was, is and should always be remembered as such. Many people think that because he is dead his being the anti-Christ is an equally dead issue. But the devil is much more clever than that. He has managed to get Reagan's picture on a dollar coin that will someday replace dollar bills and you won't be able to "make change" without one. (Rev 13, 14: 9-11)

    Furthermore, those who call Obama the anti-Christ are actually asking for him to suffer a wound from which he must recover as did Reagan when Hinkley shot him.

    THE Bible NEVER uses the term "Anti-Christ" nor does it gives detailed descriptions of the supposedly "Anti-Christ." Lisa Miller (author/editor) you need to take time out and ACTUALLY READ the Book of Revelations.

    Seriously, Newsweek, this is what you're printing these days? Stories about our President-elect being the supreme evil and bringer of the End of the World? (And if so, why the hell didn't you ask that eight years ago?)

    Speculating whether Obama has replaced Pope John Paul II and Marilyn Manson as the Antichrist du Jour is all well and good, if you're an Internet whacko or The Washington Times, but Newsweek, c'mon, you should know better. And using phrases like "Obama probably isn't the Antichrist" (probably??) in your articles, even if it's attributed to an interviewee, is pretty dicey, especially when the whole tone of the article doesn't seem too concerned with countering that idea.

      Actually this is the work of God. You see in writing this article newsweek mentioned that the website AntiAntiChrist was owned by the Todd Strandberg when it is actually owned by Me, The true Light of the World. As such I believe that they owe Me an apology of some kind either a retraction or an outright article in which I will explain the truth of matters concerning the coming of the anti-Christ and "second" Christ.
