This is a pretty typical anti-English American article - totally without balance. Recently an English couple were attacked in Wales simply for being English and Gordon Brown swiped £2bn from the English NHS in his last act as UK Chancellor, leaving the Scottish and Welsh services intact. This was reported in the Financial Times. Newsweek displays disappointing anti-English bigotry. I shall not be reading again.
